I am still quite wary of Rang Eum. His lack of empathy towards gilchae makes it difficult for me to trust him. He was shown to be so emotional towards all the slaves because he himself was one but not when it came to gilchae.
The makers really do know what they are doing. The first three episodes of Part were also slow for some people. But they were a base for what is to come. Come episode 4, everything exploded and fell into place. The same goes for part 2. The first three episodes introduced characters and laid down the base for upcoming episodes.
He chose to risk his life so that she could live with freedom. Not as a slave to a tyrant. I swear Jang Hyung is just best male lead ever written. He has raised the bar way too much
The way he ran to her like a mad man. The desperation in his voice. The way she stood rooted despite arrows being shot at her. If these two arent meant to be then I don't know who is. What a masterpiece. It will go down in kdrama history as one of the most EPIC scenes of all times.
I am in utter awe of NGM. From where did he channel it all? Him and Eun Jin have such an explosive chemistry together. Unlike anything I have seen before. I am just left speechless after episode 14.
I think we will see gilchae and jongjong reunion in ep15. No Gujama in today's episode. I think he probably went…
He is shown briefly in the beginning with JH looking for GC and JJ at the slave market. I havent watched the episode either lol Just telling you on the basis of clips i saw on twitter
Rather, a realistic ending I want, doesn’t have to be happy to me🥲
nahh two people finding their way back to each against all odds is realistic enough for me. Its rare but it definitely happens. As long as the writing and execution is convincing, I am all for it
In addition to a husband and war, throw an obsessive princess in between my jangchae. Sure do that writernim, I am seated but you better give me the most happiest ending there ever was between those two. We deserve that after so much angst ad heartbreak
I love how the writer has made janghyun and gilchae so similar. Not only are both of them fighters and survivors who believe in living despite all adversities but their mindset is also the same. Both of them have been shown to talk about how everyone particularly women have every right to live with pride despite the fact they were taken captives. They have a complete opposite view as to what society otherwise believes about the slaves.
ep 7 and ep 14 parallels

WHY IS THE WAIT FOR SUBS SO EXCRUTIATING
