Gilchae is easily one of the best female leads ever written. She has all my love and support. I also dislike when a few people cry about how he's always saving her. That woman literally killed a barbarian, delivered a baby, singlehandedly saved all her friends, worked her ass off to provide for everyone without giving a flying f about what society was saying about her and the moment she needs some rescuing, everyone loses their shit. Who's gonna be there for her then? I am so glad we will see yeonjun and eunae going all the way to find her. Gilchae is the best girl and its about time people protect her instead of the other way around.

honestly my no1 performance by a male actor this year is by Namgoong Min in My dearest. God-level tier performnce like you said. JCW is a close second. I am truly in awe and acting wise, this is best till date.
The whole love square is a snooze fest. The drama would be so much better without it.
eh i dont mind it personally but yeah they do seem more like filler scenes. With no romance, they could have actually done something amazing with the plot. Missed opportunity
Kichul's character is pretty underwhelming for a badass gangster. The undercover and drug investigation plot started off great but has fallen flat now. I am forwarding a lot of scenes. At this point I am just watching it because I am truly enjoying JCW's insane performnce and it feels like the makers made the drama only for that lol.
