Yes but I can see how some people wouldn't like it. The ML is the nicest guy in the world, the FL is a tough violent woman, the 2nd leads are fun and the villains are cliched evil corporate CEOs. I wouldn't put it on an all time favorite list but I think it is a good drama and worth checking out. I think you will get a good feel for it in an episode or two..
I really enjoyed the drama even though I had the 2nd FL syndrome. I hope to see her get more main roles since I think she stole the scenes she was in. The 2nd ML also did a good job.
I liked the drama in spite of the last episodes plot lines, which are too common in dramas but this was taken to the next level. I don't think they needed to shorten the drama there was so much more they could have expanded on. I think they failed in achieving the emotions they sought in the final episode by pushing too far. If they would have kept the story line closer to people would actually behave in a similar circumstance it would have been much more emotionally powerful. I am more connected to love stories when they share good and bad times together, not the characters act like idiots with some backwards way of showing love.
Are you telling me that before this there never was an acting worth an oscar nomination from a korean person?…
The Academy Awards is essentially a popularity contest of Hollywood elites and and those on top run it like an old boys club and tend pick directors and producers and leads that fit their model which hasn't changed much over the decades. The only reason it is changing now is that there were people who went around the establishment and showed that their are a lot of viewers are more open then they gave credit and the films were a success. Unfortunately films with subtitles don't tend to do particularly well in the States, so a lot of great work gets overlooked. That being said I don't think the Blue Dragon awards are given to any North American films or actors. I would guess most if not all film award shows are dominated by stars the country where the awards are given.
you have to watch Be Melodramatic! the plot is great and she's amazing
I just started that tonight after searching her dramas and she is awesome, I am also liking the other leads in Melo. :). I think Melodramatic is going to be an excellent drama.
If she did it she should apologize and atone for her sins and I think if she is sincere and the public believes her sincerity then she could get her career back on track. If she did it and denies having bullied then I have no sympathy for a failed career. Mark Wahlberg is a prime example, he was a horrible racist thug when he was young and he sincerely admitted he was wrong and was very remorseful. The public believed he changed and had a very successful career.
This is a great drama for what it is, a quick fun web drama. I watched a couple years ago and just rewatched again, it was just as much fun the second time around. This has great rewatch value. two thumbs up!
I found this movie depressing. I tend to stay away from cheating movies/dramas but the reviews had me interested. I didn't find anything redeeming about this movie. I don't even consider it real life since most people don't approach marriage in the same manner, If it is that bad divorce and find love. All but abandoning your child so you can spend time with a lover is just plane sad. If you are married but have to have a lover on the side then divorce and you can sleep with however and as many as you want. If he cheated then divorce him, why stay married to someone who didn't respect you enough to stay faithful. The acting was good but didn't like the storyline ands now I am just venting because I feel like I wasted 2hrs watching this.,
I know a lot of people love this show but I couldn't make it past 6 episodes. It is hard for me to get attached to a drama when every character is despicable. As much as I hate cheating and like to see comeuppance, I get ticked off when children are used to hurt their spouse.
It was very entertaining but not something to take seriously at all. In reality all the leading male characters should have run away from the leading women as fast as they can. To crawl back to someone who ghosts you and tells you they don't want anything to do with them is pathetic. When Sun Young acted like a psycho in the break up and stripped him of his clothes in the winter is not someone you would want to be in a long term relationship . Leaves you to wonder what she would do when there is a serious conflict which is inevitable, Lorena Bobitt comes to mind. Instead he went celibate, which is a little dumbfounding. Rin Yi also only treated Min Soek ok as long as he conformed to her. She doesn't have any motivation for along term financial security, if she was a male it would be obvious that he is destined to be a loser and it would be difficult to have him as a love interest. Min Soek is way too good for her but his character is also very pathetic and they leave you with the impression he will be miserable for the rest of his life because he won't be able to get over Rin Yi. There are so many fish in the sea but for some reason these good looking nice males can't find nice women. That made it painful to watch but also interesting because it keeps you irritated but curious to how it will play out. Still looking forward to the 17th episode.
I loved it! I am a sucker for smart, strong women dramas. The acting was great with main and support characters. The FL villain was especially good in her role.
I am liking this drama even though I am not wild about documentary inside drama style. I started watching because the surfing backdrop and was pleasantly surprised they had the ML making surfboards, my firs career was glassing surfboards and they did a good job with showing the craftsmanship of making some of the modern day wood surfboards. The People seem to be bothered by either the ML or FL but they are true to a high percentage of dramas where both leads are great people but fail to communicate and minor problems break them apart. we will still root for them to get together and be upset if in the end they don't end up with each other; I am even rooting for Oh Sun Young to succeed in love even though in real life I wouldn't wish her on my worst enemy. This drama is fun I highly recommend watching this.
I liked this drama, it is a slow paced and relaxing but felt good. It would have benefited with a little spice like a fiery romance between his between HJ's brother and his agent. What I found most irritating about this drama was JH dumping HJ. HJ is, unrealistically, nicer than anyone you could dream of meeting plus he is very good looking and successful. Anyone who was stupid enough to dump him would regret it for the rest of their life, especially after he ends up with another woman which someone with his qualities definitely would. It would bet an interesting to see her tell her kids, especially if she has a daughter that she broke up with a stunningly good looking ,ultra nice, caring and successful guy because she loved him and didn't want to hold him back.
