I was disappointed with this drama after reading some rave reviews and comments. I had a hard time empathizing with the leads since were all despicable people, they only looked good relative to most of the evil support characters. The ending which people seemed to like lacked credibility when one of the antagonist, who was willing to kill for her daughter well being , would take credit for murder and go to jail when she could have taken the 2 million and fled with her daughter. Lastly cutting off a son from their father is very selfish and I think evil. I found the ending more irritating than satisfying.
The number one reason I drop is when the male lead is too big of an A-hole and I wouldn't wish him on anybody regardless how rich he is. Lee Seung-Gi is a prime example he is very good at playing an A-hole but I have yet to finish any of his dramas, I did finish thew movie Love Forecast and enjoyed it, and probably will Vagabond but in general I can't get past the point of liking him enough to stick it out and finish. Almost all the dramas the leads suffer from a poor personality at first but there is a point too where it is too much for me to take. Occasionally the female is the problem like in the World of The Married the female lead was also despicable so there was no point in watching a revenge drama when the lead is just as as the villain. If it is boring it is obvious and that is an easy choice.
This is the most episodes I have ever watched in a drama, I have always lost interest in Long dramas around 40 episodes but I really love the pacing, the lead actress and the little girls acting. The villains also do a good job without being over the top evil. When I started I didn't realize how many episode otherwise I probably wouldn't have started but I am glad I did.
