Personally I prefer a happy ending however I can stand an open ending but I will avoid sad ending if I know about them in advance. As someone put it about 20% of my score for a show comes from the ending a bad ending will reduce my score and a good one will bring it up but a stupid show with a great ending still isn't going to get a 10 from me. A happy ending to me pretty much follows the text book answer however many shows will give you more an open ending were is hints at being a happy ending but doesn't get there. I might still call that a happy ending is asked.
Why is it rated so high? It was slow and a bit boring. The ending was ok but not great. I have seen much better political stories than this. Was this the only one of it kinda around when it came out?
I have completed 360 drama but my drop list is around 50 and most of them I never started. I would say I have…
Most of the shows you have listed I am unlikely to ever start. I generally don't watch Horror, and most of the Medical Drama are so bad technically I just can't bear to watch them. As for Political Drama the description has to make it sound like there is at least some romance or I wont watch them.

I have just seen too many shows were they start out slow but than end great. Some of my Favorites started out slow and by the end I was really glad I hadn't skip the show. A prefect example is Love O2O it started out really slow than started to pick up speed around 1/2 way though and by the end I really enjoyed the show.
I've watched 205 drama's and dropped 182. I also have 105 On Hold which usually means eventually drop.I used to…

I rarely drop a show. There have been a few shows I started back up a year later. The show has to be really really bad for me to completely drop it and walk away.
It is a 2010 Thai Lakorn it would be notable if it wasn't sexist.
I haven't. To be honest I am surprised at how many feature Rape. Newer ones have toned down the Rape scenes but many of the older ones can be really bad. If you know of any please let me know I kinda want to see if I can find them and watch them.
This is Netflix, they have to appeal not only kdramas fans abut also fans of your usual tv show. They already…
I view it the other way. More of non drama content is making it out of it local market. The other day I was found a show on Netflix featuring a Taiwan Reality show. I am sure they have existing in Taiwan for sometime but this is the first time I have seen one available outside it local market. The greater the desire for Korean content the more of the local content will be available outside it local market. Not just Drama but other types.
Was it a happy ending for main lead couple, Reen Yu and Nicholas Teo
I watched the show back in 2019. I gave it a very high score something I wouldn't have done if I didn't think it had a good ending however the details faded over the last 18 months or so.
The details I do remember suggest it was more than a 5 min cleanup at the end but I would have to re-watch the show again to tell you any real details.
I agree 100% on there needing to be more married drama's or drama where the main coup gets married before the last 1 or 2 ep. A few stand out I can think of is. Love, Now (2012), Five Enough (2016), 1% of Anything (2003) I am sure there are more but as a percentage of drama I would put them below 1%
However with that said many if not most family drama's feature at least 1 of the couples getting married early on in the drama. Granted sometimes they are rarely feature like the brother from Because This is My First Life (2017). However in many family drama there are generally 3 to 4 couples in the story. 1 will get married earlier generally around the 1/2 way point. 1 wont get marred but will be on track and the main couple gets marred on the last ep. Example of this are My Father is Strange (2017), Be Strong Geum Soon (2005), A Daughter Just Like You (2015), Better Man (2016), Inborn Pair (2011), My Father is Strange (2017), Second Life (2013) (The couple got divorced and got back together again), Ti Amo Chocolate (2012), What Happens to My Family? (2014) to name a few. There are more but those are the ones that jump out at me.

I just finished watching the drama and I feel it is worth watching if you like family drama's. For instance if you like father is strange, or Be Strong Guem Soon I expect you will like this one.
