I'm watching it on youtube it's in english
@PianoPlayer1

I was able to figure out how to join. I have watched a bunch of Thai shows recently. In many ways they are way different than most other Asian Countries. For example the bad guys dying it very common in Thai dramas but actually pretty rear in most other Asian Country .

Title Skip Beat! Spoiler
Does this drama have a proper ending with the leads becoming successful and getting together...wanted to ask since…
It has been 2 years since I watched it. I had to pull it out and watch the last ep to try and remember how it ended. I remember it being pretty weak and not that great even though the overall story was good. In the end they were both successful but they weren't together as boyfriend's / Girlfriend's but instead they were together and they each liked each other even is they hadn't said anything. It was clear there was still more story to be told like I said.

Who in the world blames the victim? Excuse me sir but she was hit too and it was his wife’s fault in the first…
It was pretty far into the show before she even had a clue why he hated her. The problem was by the time she understood what was going on she was already in love with him.

How is rape involved? Does the ML rape someone?
He does rape the FL. The first time they were together it wasn't but after the first time he showed what he was truly planning and there were together several more times over the next year that would be clearly called rape in the western world.

I have been waiting for this show to finish since EP 1 had come out. It looks really cute but I rarely watch drama before the end since Translations will sometime never get finished. Especially when you are talking about shows from Japan.

I personally love T-Drama's I have been into Asian Drama's for around 4 years now and T-Drama are by fair my favorite overall. Some good ones you didn't list are Inborn Pairs, Love Now, and Love Around.

Post 2016 there flavour has changed some. More and more seem to be made with the idea of going into the chinese market and they have lost some of what made them great in the past.

Also of note around 5% of the population is christian and you will see references to that in some shows. By far Buddhism is the dominant religion outside of weddings they are almost always christian. However you will see plenty of references to God and people wearing crosses is not uncommon (Now that I said that you will notice them :)).

I have first watched the anime. When I found out about the live-action drama, I was so EXCITED (and not disappointed).
They are all a bit different. The Thai one is so different it is hard to call it the same story. The old Taiwan one is the longest and has the most details and seems to cover the whole story. Although the Japanese one if my fav there are several aspects of the Korean one that make it really cute.

There are several live action version of the "Kiss" series. Of the top of my head there is the Japanese, Korean, 2 Taiwan, & Thai. I am sure there are more I am forgetting about.

PS. Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo Season 1 and 2 are also on Netflix that is were I actually watched them and they were the show that hooked me on Asian Drama's in the first place.

I really like J-Drama's as well however they are much more of a mixed bag. Most other Asian Countries their drama follow a pattern however Japan doesn't they are very allot making them hard to predict.

I just went to look for most of the shows on this list and can't find English sub for them. The shows might be great if you understand Tagalog but really hard if you don't. ABSCBN also doesn't help things. They have there own pay service I had tired it once to see a movie that looked really good I could never get it play the site kept crashing on me. However they are really good at take down notices for any site that even thinks about posting one of their shows.

As I have said in another Thread the movies I have seen I have really loved but I think the biggest issue with Filipino drama's is going to be access and eng sub's.

Hi! I must admit the latest drama I've seen were years ago (2015 being the latest) but here are my recommendations:-…
I will have to try some of them out. My problem seems to be finding the shows with Eng Subs someplace I can watch them from in the US. I currently Pay for several services including Netflix, Viki, and OnDemandKorea. So I am not opposed to paying for my content. However when I find a show I want to see I am willing to go to the Grey markets / Fan sites to get them. However the sites I know about seem to have very little Filipino content although Netflix recently add a lot of Filipino movies so maybe they are starting to appear in mainstream streaming services.
