I'd really like to try Thai Dramas but my only issue and I don't mean to offend anyone is just that their voices…
I agree their voices always sound angry to me it generally takes me a little while to adjust to them when watching a new Drama however I have found Thai Drama to be very unique. Ones like Cubic where the star is a mastermind criminal and even there remakes of popular shows aren't cookie cutter. Their remake of It Started With A Kiss was very unique. I could see the original story in the final production because I know it was a remake but if hadn't know I doubt I would have said it was a remake.

You were anticipating? omo so cute ;) Thanks a lot ❤️ Glad you like it. ^^ Nice that you have nostalgic feelings…
I connect with Asian Drama in part because they have an Innocence that most western produced shows lost decades ago. Because the HK was controlled by the UK for so long there TV standard match those of the UK and other western countries. I prefer the TV Series over movies for that same reason. Asian Movie don't have the same restrictions that a TV Drama have.

I really dislike HK drama's and movies. If I wanted to watch something with a UK feel I would watch shows from the UK were they are at least in English.

Mid-2000s were the golden years of Taiwanese dramas, it's difficult to find something similar these days.
100% Agree. 2000 and early 2010 were the golden age of Taiwanese Dramas. Like Koren drama the government is losing the restrictions on them and we are seeing more sex and that is part of the reason I love Asian Drama everyone isn't sleeping with everyone else like most US TV shows have now a days.

I’ve only watched one Taiwanese drama - Someday or One Day. Which was great. Reading the summaries, I feel Autumn's…
Autumn's Concerto is great however it isn't a light hearted show. It deals with some very adult topics. I wouldn't let small children watch it. Now don't get me wrong. It convers some very adult topics however it is likely one of the best Asian Drama I have ever seen.

I watched the Marathon version of it and it was really good. I gave it 9/10 it was a story I would have loved to seen more of. Good Chemistry for the leads.

I don't watch drama's until all the ep have aired and are translated. Reason for me are simple. 1) I hate waiting for the next ep. 2) I had a drama were it stopped translation midway though. It look like the person or team that was doing the translations lost interest in the show and never completed the translation. Nothings sucks more than not being able to watch the ending of a show.

There was a US show like that and although they used some of the terms correctly most of the show was BS.

PS. I just remembered the name of the show. It was CSI: Cyber

The Term Hackers original meant someone who liked to Hack things by taking them apart and tiring to figure out how they work. The correct term in the community was crackers as they were attempting to crack into someones system. However the media has redefined the meaning of the word so badly that most have moved on to other terms as it was a lost cause attempting to explain to everyone the true meaning of the word.

There is allot of good "Lint" software out there that you should be running at a min to help optimize your code at the end but anyone who write more that a hundred lines of code should be either writing test or manually running their code in small blocks to catch stupid logic errors from the get go.

Omg, yes, being a girl in CS is such a weird feeling. Because in today's society you're told that there is no…
There are women who work in IT and I have work with several over the years. However I would guess they are less than 10% of all IT works. The % of females in IT are growing overall but they are still a minority of all IT professionals. With that said IT as a whole is getting more an more automated moving it to more and more lower skilled jobs.

After the one school were the schools IT person installed software that allowed him to turn the Camera on without turning the light on all Camera makers have changed there hardware to make it nearly impossible to turn a camera on without the light going on. You would have to rewire the device to make that happen now a days. No one wanted to be seen allows remote operators to turn on a Camera in a child's room without them knowing about it.

Hacking CCTV systems is actually very easy to do. The older ones are just composite video over copper lines. Plug something into it and you can access the feed. Newer ones are pretty much simple streaming most are by defaults not encrypted and most of the time you don't run them encrypted because the cheap CPU's they use tend to die over prolonged use.

However most of the time getting into the network is really hard. There wires go straight into the building. Generally on independent networks or vLans. Getting access to those private networks are hard.

There are occupationally some shows / movies that get it right but they are rare and even those that get it right will still sometimes take artistic licensing with stuff to improve the scene flow. However that is also true in medical drama, I am sure that is also true in Law and every other drama that depicts none common skills.

Lets face it even simple things they get wrong. Ever see how they park their cars? In most drama they are lucky to be even close to the parking spaces lines.

I agree that a major of the "hacking" scenes in Movies and TV shows are complete BS. However the USB ones are likely closer than most people think. Unless the PC has been harden most PC will autorun stuff on the USB drive. Once it is autorun it can complete access to the PC. To make maters worse there is some great hardware out there that are designed to attack the PC they are plugged into that looks like USB sticks to the untrained eye.
