For me I hated the endingIt was complicated for no good reasonIt can be easy and happier ....I don't know why…
I may disagree with you on that since they cannot love in world A or B so they wander together. Loved their solution to be together without having the aweful fate by going to a 3rd world :) This was the only good solution if you think about it. She cannot live in his world since ppl know she is dead and he cannot live in hers since he will cause her death eventually. So they both escape their worlds without associating with ppl of that world and having to go the same fates again.
I really hope this gets a happy ending... Where Seo Do Won will have to choose between which of the two worlds…
He said the world got split 12 years ago, so maybe the worlds will merge again?? I think it would be the best scenario, but don't know who will live and who will die :)
Well I was waiting for the En subtitles for sooo long. And when they are finally here they are horrible subtitles with all the "she" addressed as "he" and vice versa, but at least we understood ;) I was so excited about this drama because the high ratings in China but ... the first couple of episodes were really intriguing and enjoyable, then everything goes downhill. With time, the FL never really shows caring for the ML except in the last episode or two, which is really unfair for all what he does for her. Also, as somebody pointed out in the comments, the ML is practically dying for half of the drama. I don't know where the ppl who said it id HE had this idea, maybe because we didn't see a grave with his name, but we didn't get to see the main couple after walking away dying and then the student opens up the ML clinic, which pretty much points to the fact that he is no longer here. Why didn't we see teacher SU Xian getting up and maybe giving energy to the ML or saving him ... I also thought that Changge was Emperor AI for the whole drama because he said I don't know my parents and was brought up bu Jin Xin .. But then they killed him off ... So I don't really like the ending, and although sacrifice is the literal translation of the drama title but it is very unfair to ML, who took nothing from anyone in return, beginning from his father, Su Xian who he saved, the FL etc. So because of the solid beginning and acting, I'd give it an 8.
Season 1 was a lot more exciting. In this season, the relationship between the team members and the relationship between the leads are not convincing at all and the case is not exciting as in S01. It also confuses you when you have very similar cast but different story. Either continue S01 story with same cast or change the setting.
I enjoyed it very much. And love the theme song. It is not perfect, with some episodes in the middle with not much interesting things happening especially with his nemesis dying early on in the series, but Bosco Wong's charisma overflows in every series he is in, so you get to enjoy any series he is in really. And it is always refreshing to see a friendship that persists through all hardships. Jessie's character was really cool, the other 2 FLs were a bit annoying and clumpsy.
Wow. I agree with Minarii's rating for all. :)) You guys make a very good point. Let's not turn the things that are for entertainment into fan and anti-fan wars as we see nowadays. Turning "fun" into "Not so fun anymore" is horrible.
That was very confusing. As the comments say, it is 2 dramas stitched together. One from ep1-16 and then the rest. The 1st part was really good, the rest was boring, everybody very scheming without reason since they are already in power and unneccesary love triangles. The ML did a good job. However, his character in the drama is not lovable at all. Why would you love somebody who is very calculative and lies even till the very last scene. Also, no way that every female he encounters just loves him and pursues him from princesses to generals to servants. Too much! There are way better historical dramas both in story amd realistics.

Yeah you are right. It is probably due to the genre I watch. I don't do high school dramas or too much slice of life dramas. But usually more thriller, detective, conflict, scifi etc. But I think we can agree that a good percentage of actors can act compared to cdramas though :))
Nice combination of opinions. I watch cdrama, kdrama and jdrama. And jdrama are the most realistic and best stories. The downside for me would be the excessive humor in some of the series, but otherwise the story is usually engaging, well flowing and the male leads are real gens or at least have a good quality of men like responsible/fair/just etc so it doesn't depend mainly on looks like cdramas for example.
