Just passing by to say how much I miss this drama & the trio. They really made my summer last year…I was always looking forward to new episodes & their banter. LLH/LXY in the novel was more cunning than the one in the drama lmao but the drama LLH was a sly fox, even I felt sorry for FDB sometimes lol. This drama holds a special place in my heart ❤️.

When they met, WQ was around 15-16 so I’d say 4-5 years age difference

I think the minister of rites also knew general Jing was a slave, that’s why he made him do his bidding. I think he promised Jing a position as a minister , similar to LB’s father position. I think Jing also has ulterior motives, but as to why he connived with Yi Zhi is still unknown.

He also was a slave but Li Ji took him in. He studied with LB,then went to the battlefield but when he came back he became distant to the Li family. I remember general saying something Yi Zhi was also a slave and where they stood was where Yi Zhi was held captive or so,gotta watch that part again.

I think it was explained that he was a slave, he even had his fangs/canine teeth removed by general qizhi, remember how the general pointed to his teeth & did the pluck sign to yi zhi when he was fighting with LB? But how he also became a demon cat is a mystery, but I guess that’ll be explained as the story goes.

But how does he know Chen shi is the brother? Unless someone gave a precise description of how CS looks like, but then again CS said it himself that it’s been years since he saw his brother so it’ll be difficult to know. Plus his brother only sent a letter without an address. I guess they’ll answer my doubts as the episodes go.
