Yeah, this drama is going to be one of my favorite this year. The comedy & fighting sequences are fire 🔥! And Yun Ga Min,my cutie patootie lmao this guy is just adorable when he ain’t whooping asses. But naaah this scene where Ga min air kicked the bag was just too EPIC! 👏🏽👏🏽

He is also in the novel but actually is murdered by somsak, who made it look like a suicide. And yes they WERE sleeping together in the novel too.

He did in the novel as I mentioned above 👆🏽. They changed a little bit of things from the novel in the drama.

If you take away the shitty subs & just focus on the plot,you’ll know how interesting this drama is. The chemistry between the ML & SML is great. The ML in a coma refusing to wake up & the SML gets frustrated to the point he coldly tells him,’fine,if you don’t want to wake up,you’ll end up collecting my corpse instead,so suit yourself’.
Only for the ML to ACTUALLY wake up after his close friend(SML) says that & is about to leave through the door.

Love the first episode,can’t wait for the next one ☺️

I’m on ep5 and even tho the subs are shitty, the drama itself is very interesting so I’ll keep watching. Oh and I’m loving the bromance between the ML & SML

I’ve been praying to the BL deities every night, for a production team to cast them in another BL again. JJ even said he wants to work with tor again.🤗

Production houses, JJ aka the men kisser wants to work with Tor again. I’m begging you(on my knees) make it happen. This type of chemistry & acting is rare nowadays☺️.

Sweetie ignore this person cos it seems,they love the word ‘homophobic’ a lot. So if they don’t see people kissing,the production house is homophobic 🥴😂.
The romance is right there, okay then. Two men kissing & getting undressed is basically bromance whereby one is giving the other cpr & checking if they’re hurt anywhere on the body heh 😬.

Criticism? You must have been on the negative people side cos this drama has received a LOT of praise from people. You want the characters to be kissing & fucking every episode to know it’s a BL? I’m going to keep saying that, some of y’all got your brains deep fried. TorJJ characters didn’t need to say it out loud that they’re gay,it was RIGHT THERE! From ep1!
Sure the novel had them already sleeping together but changed in the drama which is understandable as it’ll overshadow the message the drama was trying to convey.
Also lastly, any sane adult understood the message & the romance between the characters. Also the screenwriter & production team made it CLEAR it was a suspense drama & the characters do like each other. They never baited the audience, they were honest from the start.
So yes! It DOES deserve the success it deserves & it being the highest LGBT show in Thai tv history & the most watched drama in IQYI BL category.

I totally agree with you. It’s because some people have been brainwashed to think that seeing lots of kissing scenes in every episodes or neck choking & butt naked men shows the drama is “hot or has lots of romance & chemistry”🥴. This is why I like to gatekeep such amazing dramas like SMYM, the on1y one, I hear the sunspot, our dining table,perfect propose etc. I’m never swayed by public opinions of what to watch or not. I’m glad the Thai audience loved it that much to make SMYM the highest rated LGBT show in Thai tv history. Even JJ wants to work with Tor again & even said producers should cast them in another BL drama.
Also it seems this drama caught some Chinese fans attention to give it an 8.5 on douban(mind you,douban voters tend to be very negative & rarely give high scores to dramas).

Yeah, I also gasped when Wasan told Kan,he loves him. Kan looked surprised cos it was the LAST thing he expected from Wasan.

See? No need to even bother with those talking about “no chemistry & what other bullshit”. The drama’s success rate speaks for itself,you don’t need excessive kissing & nudity to make a great drama. One31 should keep it up since they got a hit on their hands with SMYM.

He did but Wasan pulled back, I think even tho Wasan wanted to kiss him too,he held back & decided to put the handcuffs on him. That’s why Kan looked sad in the car cos he thought Wasan doesn’t love him anymore after finding out what he did.

I know right? And I love that for them. I remember Tor also talked about how sometimes when he’s feeling down or negative & has no where to look at,the minute he sees JJ,JJ can feel what he’s feeling too. That kind of emotional connection is rare. I get why these 2 are still friends even after NADAO closed.

They’re used to seeing the characters smashing & kissing by heart in dramas that, when a great drama like this happens…they say the leads have no chemistry,pfft no chemistry my ass 🥴. I don’t even care anymore cos most of the audience loved it & praised it a lot,plus the Thai audience loved it that much for it to be the highest rated LGBT show in Thai tv history 🤷🏽‍♀️🫡

Also, no matter how much some of y’all complain of “lack of romance or chemistry” (even tho the romance & chemistry were top notch & never overshadowed the story which I think was perfect) will NEVER change the fact that,SMYM is the average highest LGBT drama in Thai tv history(surpassing To sir with love). it also had the highest live views while airing, it topping IQYI most watched BL dramas,has been nr 1 on the One31 app since it ended. Mind you, it barely had any promo nor millions of hashtags on social media to boost the drama(unlike others 🥴). All this goes to show that, there’re people who’d love such fascinating storyline,great acting,intriguing plot & great chemistry(that’s what you get for having solid actors like TorJJ ☺️).
