Actually in the novel, he went to jail for killing somsak not for euthanasia(even tho he was accused of it publicly)During his 8 year bid,he got paroled,kan didn’t expect Wasan to come pick him up since he never visited kan when he was in prison.
They went back to kan’s house & continued living there,actually Wasan moved out from kan’s house but did go there occasionally to clean the place.
Kan’s medical license was revoked so he thought of opening a coffee shop or restaurant.
One day he got a letter from a terminally ill patient wanting euthanasia & Kan refused but Wasan asked while smiling mischievously,‘aren’t you going to help them? They seem to be in a lot pain’.
The story ends there.

I saw this video on X & even retweeted it. The look of surprise when he found out about the international fans loving it too. Offcourse he wouldn’t expect it,but he let his talent & passion for his work speak for itself. He saw the hype on X but he didn’t know that a lot of people loved the drama in real life too ❤️

Me too, this goes to show you that…there’re a LOT of people who’d prefer to watch such mature,intriguing storyline,intense plot & chemistry.
I was more surprised about the 1.5mil viewership it got in rural areas, cos such places don’t really watch these kind of dramas, but due to it’s intriguing plot line which focused on healthcare,the rural areas enjoyed SMYM from start to finish with high average ratings(except the finale which had 1.5,mainly due to the holidays celebrations)
I’m glad OneD always goes out when it comes to classic BL’s. I know they’re happy about SMYM’s success & it’ll push them to make more daring & amazing BL’s.

TorJJ,y’all were phenomenal and really embodied your characters. I’m happy this was well received & also has the most highest ratings viewership in BL Thai tv shows,during the airing of the 8 episodes

Wow I’m really happy & proud how successful SMYM is in Thailand. Especially in rural areas,it got a high viewership,which I wasn’t expecting wow! it dethroned to sir with love in the finale.
Also during live viewing it had consistently high viewership compared to the other channels & was nr 2 after my undercover chef.
SMYM has had high viewership ratings ever since its premiere & I’m soo fucking proud.
I need One31/OneD to continue releasing great BL dramas & also get Tor & JJ in another BL again ☺️.

Both novel & drama focused on the plot with a mix of romance, I’ve never watched kinnporche but as far as I’ve heard,it’s a mafia theme BL,so the comparison is a bit off since this deals with terminal patients.
If they had focused more on the romance,the message they were sending out wouldn’t have been received. Euthanasia is a serious topic,regarding story wise it followed the novel pretty much. So if you were expecting “kinnporche BL”,wrong drama then.
Also, how it ends in the drama isn’t the same as the novel,cos there’s more to it after Kan’s arrest.

Tehehe well Wasan actually waits for Kan while he’s in prison tho. They do end up together since he ended up forgiving Kan at some point. But yeah I was always side eyeing 😒 Kan,whenever he lied or manipulated Wasan cos I KNEW it’ll eventually come back to bite him.
I guess,he chose to half lie-half tell the truth to Wasan since he didn’t want to lose him, but then again you can’t build a relationship based on lies & secrets.

Rewatching the attic scene & not once did Kan cry even tho he was in pain. But the minute Wasan talked about his mother & said,’How could you do this to me?’ while crying, that’s when Kan starts crying too.
You can tell how hurt he is to see Wasan cry & the promise he broke about not letting Wasan down or making him sad.

Hopefully,the ratings increases as time goes by cos this drama is just too good. Call me Biased but this is the kinda drama which leaves an imprint on you. Nowadays, you barely get such a great storyline,plot with twists & intense chemistry.

Idk why I smile soo hard & keep feeling like a third wheel who needs to give them some space,during the kissing scene. The way Kan looks at Wasan ready to devour him tho *clears throat*. Lemme give y’all some space but errrmm,I’m still gonna watch y’all devour each other 🫣😈

I don’t think he was sloppy tho. He DID get away with it for years,as he said..wasan doesn’t have any evidence unless he confess. If anyone is to blame, it’s Boss. Cos he tried to imitate Kan which brought a lot of problems.

Wasan never let others know about Kan’s involvement in euthanizing his patients, cos he’d have easily gotten life imprisonment or the death penalty but Wasan kept the evidence since he understood Kan’s method even tho he didn’t entirely agree with him.

You need to understand that,Kan may have done it with good intentions but on the law side,it was illegal & a crime.
If Wasan had let him slide,he’d have been walking around feeling guilty conscious. Also he could end up getting caught & being an accomplice,not only will he lose his job,he’ll go to jail. That’ll leave a stain on his record.
You want him to risk all that for Kan? He’s a cop,it’s his job to uphold the law,no matter who’s involved
