Actually it's because they are the most popular channel network right now in Thailand. Usually it's a tight competition…
This is why I love to watch mature BL’s & also the company that’s daring to air such excellent plot & storytelling. One31 deserves that top spot regarding high ratings. In fact a lot of us a tired of those cheesy highschool BL’s & cringy stuff so hats off to one31,they have my respect 🫔.
If only GMMTV learns from them, they’d go far but guess not, they’re rather focusing on the same old ships & cringey BL’s lmao 🄓.
I saw Sammon retweet a post about euthanasia seminar in the healthcare department so yeah I’m glad it’s been well received.

One31/OneD knows how to give us good BL’s. Look at all their BL’s, no wonder why they’ve been having high ratings better than other companies šŸ«”ā˜ŗļø

For Kan, he’d rather confess & go to jail than lose Wasan.
Yes he was heartbroken when he found out,Wasan knew the truth about his mom but the thought of Wasan leaving him will utterly destroy him, that’s why he said if it’s Wasan asking,he’ll confess.

Wasan: *traces his fingers on Kan’s wound*
Kan: The doc allows it
Wasan: *looks up at him slowly, grabs Kan’s neck & slowly kisses him*
Me: 🄵🄵🫦🫦 *keeps fanning myself while I watch*

Kan DOES go to jail in book 2 tho, so how it ended in the drama aligns with how things go in book 2. But he doesn’t…
Yeah, actually they never broke up. Wasan chose to focus on his duties the more & didn’t speak to Kan during the years he was doing his bid.

I still don't understand who put the pen at the crime scene.
I think that might be Dr Rin. Kan never euthanized Urai, it was Boss who did it. Since Rin had a vendetta against Kan, she probably put it at the crime scene.

Actually,I understand why Wasan told Kan he loves him.
He’s like,’ hey, even tho you euthanized my mom & other patients which is illegal in Thailand,I still love you & will wait for you. But you have to do your bid in prison & atone for your deeds first & also for me to completely forgive you’.
As a law enforcer, if he let Kan slide…he’d end up being an accomplice which can cost him his job but also end up in prison too.
Wasan has SPECIFICALLY told Kan,he’ll arrest him if he turns out to be the one euthanizing the patients. For Wasan, his duty comes first no matter what.
If you’re innocent,I’ll be your lover but if you’re guilty,I’ll arrest you & put you in jail myself-Wasan

Kan spends 8 years in prison, comes out a bit early for good behavior, gets his license revoked so he plans on opening…
He actually came out after doing around 3 years a bid in there.

SAYING U LOVE HIM WHILST ENDING HIS CAREER AND SENDING HIM TO JAIL.. May this love never find me. Amen šŸ™šŸ¼
Ijbol šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚.
But honestly looking at it from Wasan’s view, he made it CLEAR to Kan that if he’s the one doing the mercy killings,he’ll arrest him.
In the novel Wasan told Kan,’if you’re innocent,I can be your lover but if you’re guilty,I’ll arrest you & put you in prison myself’.
It’s still a HE in the novel tho

Title Spare Me Your Mercy Spoiler

Kan DOES go to jail in book 2 tho, so how it ended in the drama aligns with how things go in book 2. But he doesn’t do all his bid there,he comes out a couple of years earlier due to good behavior. Wasan & KAN are STILL together & even he comes to pick Kan up from prison. Kan decides to run a restaurant or coffee shop. Wasan rises in ranks at work during the years Kan is locked up. Actually Wasan NEVER put in the evidence of Kan’s involvement in euthanasia, Kan went to prison for killing somsak. somsak was the one who killed the other patients.
It’s better y’all read the rest in Book 2

Again,to those who don’t understand the ending.
Wasan forgave Kan when he gave him the blue hydrangeas(its withered now) & told him he love him, but he HAS to uphold the law by arresting his lover since he performed illegal euthanasia. Wasan understood why Kan did what he had to do but in his eyes,he has to do his duty since his boyfriend confessed, also as a policeman he has to do his job, no matter how much he loves Kan.
It may end there in the drama but sure as hell doesn’t end there in the novel. Hope I made it easy for you to understand & if you’re curious to how it ends,Book 2 has been linked a bit further in the comment section.
