It’s crazy how TorJJ have known each other for over a decade. I see why their chemistry is top notch. Love their couple ELLE magazine shoot & the interview. Tor talked about how JJ looked when he first met him & how cute he looked, it’s crazy how these 2 keep mentioning each other as someone who inspires them.

Found out it’s been nr 1 since it ended on One31/OneD app. It shows how people love such intriguing dramas & chemistry. I’ve seen people complain about them getting tired of all that high school fluffy stuff & wanted something like SMYM. So, producers! I beg get torjj in another BL again,JJ wants it,we want it,the heavens want it 🤗

They never broke up. Kan was surprised & happy to see Wasan when he got released, cos he wasn’t expecting Wasan to be the one to pick him up.
Kan did get out early for good behavior tho,they also lived at Kan’s house again. Kan got his medical license revoked so he thought of opening a coffee shop or restaurant.
One day Kan got a mail from a terminally ill patient who wanted euthanasia, Kan refused but Wasan smiled while asking cunningly,‘aren’t you going to help them? They seem to be in a lot of pain’. The story ends there

I can’t get the way Wasan slowly looked up at Kan,before grabbing the back of his neck to kiss him slowly out of my mind 🫣🤭.
SMYM will forever be the best BL I’ve ever watched & is in my top 2 ☺️. I’ve been rewatching the episodes without ever getting bored.

In the novel,he went to jail for killing somsak not for euthanasia. Wasan never put in the evidence for Kan’s euthanasia tho cos he’d have gotten life imprisonment or death penalty. Wasan DID wait for Kan even tho he never once visited him in prison, so Kan thought Wasan had moved on.

Yeah I saw it lmao,the way he did the kissing scene soo teasingly 😂😂

Passing by to say,how much I’m enjoying this drama. Finally a storyline that doesn’t focus entirely on romance but is also letting the viewers know it ain’t peaches & roses in the idol industry.
I love how the romance isn’t the focus,but it’s slowly building up cos honestly? I’m fucking tired of seeing rushed romances & ML’s already knee deep down each other throats before ep3 🥴. This is my 2nd Thai BL that’s caught my attention. So those of you complaining it’s slow or boring,boy oh boy these cringey BL’s done cooked & stir fried your brain to think a slow paced BL with ACTUAL storyline is boring,slow or the ML’s have no chemistry. If you want to see tongue kissing & butt naked men bending each other like a pretzel 🥨,there’re a LOT of that to satisfy your horny ass.
P.S. I like how William is able to hold his forte in the acting department. Every member is doing amazing.

If they had done that,the story itself would’ve been overshadowed & the message they were trying to send wouldn’t have been received. I for once have heard of euthanasia but didn’t know it was such a crucial topic & its legality in few countries. So yes i’m glad they decided to FOCUS on the storyline just like the novel & added romance on there,which was natural. Maybe you’re the only one who thinks the ML’s don’t have any chemistry 🤷🏽‍♀️. You don’t need intense kissing scenes or love making scenes for viewers to know the intensity of the relationship. Just conversations & stares are enough to spark an emotional connection.
P.S. the production team made it clear from day 1 that, the drama will be HEAVILY focused on the plot. Which by the way,has brought awareness in Thai healthcare,people who’s lost a loved one who wanted their pain to end & those who had no idea about euthanasia.

Exactly,Kan mentioned what blue hydrangeas means on his hospital bed. It meant forgiveness.
Tho his boyfriend arrested him,he DID give him the flower as symbol of forgiveness and Wasan also reassured Kan that he DOES love him despite everything. This man is also willing to wait for Kan to finish his bid in prison & start a new life with him.

Also, if you come on here complaining about mild or lack of romance,well lemme tell you this.
The production team made it CLEAR,that this was a suspense drama mixed with romance before pre-production. They didn’t bait nor sugarcoat it just so it can pull in viewers 🙂‍↔️,they were HONEST from day 1! But that doesn’t mean the characters don’t love each other,cos they do & even Tor made it clear that,if you think the characters are playing with each others heart,then you thought wrong cos when it comes to the matters of the heart,they’re truthful.
What they wanted was for the audience to know about Euthanasia which is a SERIOUS subject as it’s only legal in few countries. The novel itself isn’t HEAVILY on the romance aspect as it didn’t want the story to be overshadowed.
You don’t need heavy romance or nude scenes to make a good drama, as long as storyline,plot,chemistry & the message it’s trying to portray is good…the audience WILL definitely get the message. Trust that,those who didn’t know about euthanasia DEFINITELY got the message & see it in a different light.
Tor & JJ were amazing as KanWasan as you’d know that Kan at times liked to gaslight,lie & manipulate Wasan whenever he’s getting close to the truth & I think Tor portrayed that gaslight hunky gay in SMYM soo well lol.
Honestly,these 2 gave me butterflies & made me feel like I’m third wheeling in their romance,cos those intense stares & flirtatious ways pulled me in,not to talk of that romantic kiss 🫣🤭.
If you’ve never had someone dear to you who was constantly in pain that, they wanted their suffering to end,you wouldn’t know how it feels nor connect to this drama.
I hope these 2 get nominated & win for their portrayal of KanWasan & I pray SMYM win awards.

The ending isn’t the same as the novel. Kan DOES go to prison tho,so how it ended in the drama,continues from the novel. He spends 8 years in there & gets out early for good behavior.
Also the novel FOCUSES more on the storytelling than the romance. Wasan was sleeping with Kan in early chapters in the novel but the drama took a different approach which was great tbh. Cos drama Wasan was more clear minded & meticulous than novel wasan(that man was just damn horny lmao). And sometimes it felt like he wasn’t thinking straight which was messing him up between love & justice.
They DO end up together tho,they never broke up,despite Wasan never visiting Kan in prison, in which Kan thought Wasan had moved on.

Also,MDL ratings tend to be quite biased as great dramas are often undermined compared to the overrated & cringy shows🥴.
On a positive note, this drama has gotten praise from both international & Thai fans due to its intriguing & tense gripping storyline & the message it conveys. SMYM is now the highest LGBT drama in Thai tv shows in history(surpassing To Sir with love in the finale). It also had the highest viewership during its 8 episode run 👏🏽.
SMYM also had a higher live viewership compared to other channels & also came in second as undercover chef was nr 1(a re-run show from channel 3).
Also the drama’s success has been able to reach the health care community to the extend of them holding a seminar in regards to euthanasia(saw this tweet on X & even Dr Sammon, the author for euthanasia retweeted it).
I pray OneD brings Tor & JJ together again in another thrilling drama☺️

They seem to forget that,the producers specifically made it clear that it’s a suspense drama with romance mix in there but the main focus will be on the plot🥴.
If they want to see plenty kissing & humping,there’re a LOT of Thai BL which focuses on that. Such horny asses always wanting to see naked men,forgetting there’re people who love storylines & plot

That’s how you know that a lot of people’s brains have been cooked & fried nowadays. They think having excessive kissing & naked scenes means the show is good. Their brains have been programmed that way & I blame these production channels for promoting excessive nude scenes cos they think that’s what the public want. When there’re a LOT of people who’ve gotten tired of such cliches.
I’m glad this show is already a hit & gotten love from people including the health care community & is the highest LGBT show in Thai tv history. Those tumblr people can go suck on a thick juicy D.

Yeah cos he was the REAL killer in the novel,his sloppiness is the reason why Kan was accused & the euthanasia methods were being exposed. Nobody would’ve known if it wasn’t for somsak’s sloppy ways.

They changed it in the drama but boss was killed by somsak in the novel & it was made to look like a suicide.
