IKR so happy to see progress from Seonho as an actor and Taemin as a character. He rubbed me off wrong the first few episodes because all his lines were just him acting angry and annoying. Glad to see more of him having real conversations

oh I hope I catch them around then! I feel tighter bonds with actors from daily dramas it feels like they are taking it slow and seriously a lot like what I imagine ES character to be ijbol

It's great that you got something out of it. I tried watching it but the girl lead was annoying and I don't remember any chemistry or eye candies in that one. The plot is was interesting for a hot minute. I am assuming the drama was about the girl and her dad and art teacher. The most memorable thing was Jan Di and Jun Pyo being the name of the kids couple.

I swear 60% of my enjoyment with thus drama comes from reading and commenting here. I don't think I have been this invested in analyzing plots since my last literature class ;p

If he was in her room. Then he ran to her. I don't want to give them excuses esp before I hear the full story. But blaming them for the divorce is one thing and blaming them for the 30 years without JA is another.

What the father said sounded more like don't hurt your current mom by saying too much about your birth mom. keep it short. She's his wife he need s to take her side infront of everyone and be firm when they are alone together. So far he's done a good job letting the mom within her limits. JA keeps letting all of her anger off on CY which is not fair or smart. If she is the adulter everyone thinks she is she'd be much more sly in playing with her kids minds and keeping them from their mom.

Again I don't like CY any better than JA but when if comes to current time she is acting a tiny bit better than JA with everything.

Oh will have to go back to that after I watched the episodes i forgot all about it 😂

Yeah I'm very bored and unavailable for emotional commitment atm which is why I thought it could be a change to watch it lightly. When S2 was on everyone was talking about, thought it might be the same for this one.

She could! ES get random spurs of courage like the time she kicked her ex, that was out of nowhere. Or everytime she fought with SW.

You see your analysis is so on point. The problem here is such a character isn't given the chance to have a proper back story with all the unnecessary other scenes. His biggest issue was painted as the Jennifer thing with 20 flashbacks to the same scene. That aside his screentime could have been more so did ES like how many scenes did grandpa spend talking about his ladies just to give HY character "depth".

Yeah she asked ES if she were the "person from last time with Sunwoo" and "what she was doing her at their home". In the preview, it seems ES answered her and the she proceeded to tell HY "to stay a bit and say Hi to SW since he'll be there soon". She clearly asked the girl who likes her son to stay and say hi in front of his girlfriend. There's also the looks she gave as Loelha said.

I doubt so, she'll be joyous that such a perfect DIL landed her other son. Thing is we all know she'll get a happy ending and that makes me so mad.
We all saw it miles away how aweful she would be to ES once she found out who her parents were. What I don't get is that how could HY be better than ES. All HY got on ES is a few years in age making her a bit ahead in worklife.

In that house SW & SJ are the closest it seems. They both tell their parents almost nothing about their lives. There seems to be a bond between SW and his dad but none of the realtionships in KS Ville family are compared to Haha chicken. Even CY/ES who could be the weakest tie are somewhat strong with CY being a huge help to ES in whole ex bf issue.

I think I am very clear in saying I don't care about any of the characters other than ES, I committed to that since the beginning and even started watching for NSJ. Having said that, JA is officially blacklisted for me. It's not enough that she is not drawing any clear lines for the girl her son stated he isn't interested in she's giving her preferential treatment right in front of his gf while giving ES stinky looks, wtf.
At this point, CY officially gives EH-EA a better treatment than ES. Be it guilt or be it pity and love it seems ES is getting the short stick wherever she goes. Can't wait for SW to try and knock some sense into his mom's next episode. With this HY is beyond recovery, I am even pissed that she'll get someone as amazing as EH as her plan B. It's truly a nightmare that your brother (that you actually like) would date someone mean to you for no reason.

yeah exactly like you said. I just wish she was more sensible. She clearly has talent and has refused that indie film audition HY offered just for the sake of sticking to her principles.

There's honeslty not much left now that most secrets are out. It's not like main couple's chemistry but the 2nd couple has something going on. it's just right for me considering how they are teacher-student to each other in current time. and a grieving mother/helper in the old time-line

I really couldn't understand why Lee Hyun Woo would take a secondary role.

After today's episode, I am so glad he did. Perfect fit for the character. I really hope his next project brings us back to his prime days, such a gem.
