Great actor. I just finished watching Veil of Shadows (like 5 times LOL) , and I literally just started watching Blossom (yes I’m late to the show) , and I was like, ‘wait a sec is that Xiao Wei from VoS?’ And sure enough it is. He looks very different though with the different makeup so I really didn’t notice until after a few of his scenes. What a coincidence that I caught him in two dramas I decided to watch back to back. He is a great actor and wicked handsome to boot. I look forward to seeing him in future roles. :)
Garbage, and dead easy to understand why it has earned a laughably low 5.4 on Douban. At least Chinese viewers…
Douban is not end all be all. The drama is ultra popular and a huge hit regardless of certain critical reviews which mostly come from shallow/lazy-brained people who cannot put the story together on their own and need a drama to give them all the answers and/or from emotionally inept who struggle to connect to depth. VoS is for mature audiences who have experienced dark night of the soul, who are comfortable with their emotions, and are simultaneously intellectually advanced. VoS is not for the shallow, the judgmental, or lazy thinkers. You’re giving too much away about yourself… even Ji Ling Puppet is not that much of a dummy.
EPIC! I did almost stop watching during the first few episodes but so glad I kept watching. Something about it kept me intrigued although it was a little slow initially, then things took a turn and WOW I couldn’t stop watching. This is definitely a top fav. I typically don’t like or watch fantasy drama at all, and this was AWESOME. And I’d love to do a rewatch not just because I love it but the story is rather mind bending so it’s one of those type of drama where you have to watch it a couple times to truly pick up all the little details and symbolisms which are the best type of drama. Definitely a complex storyline, with absolutely fantastic fight scenes. Everyone who participated on this drama did a great job. They really deserve some awards for this genuine work of art.
I personally look for happy endings specifically because if it's sad then I end up depressed for days after (literally…
For me I don’t care. If it is good acting and a good story and everything is good in effects then the ending doesn’t make a difference for me cuz I mostly enjoy good acting and a good story. A “happy” ending is a bonu山;also it’s based on relative perspective.. And it’s honestly MOST painful and annoying when people reveal the ending of a drama without a spoiler warning. LIKE “good ending” , or “happy ending” , or “sad ending”, or “bad ending”… seriously like stfu!! It honestly SUCKS when others give away an ending in ANY type of way. The only reason why I mentioned any part of the of the ending is cuz so many people already did. But tbh please PLEASE stfu about endings.
He was arrested and charged because of nothing but a video on his phone of a guy he knew of getting jumped by another guy he knew. That’s ridiculous injustice. I feel bad for him.
If she wants to pursue acting then I support her. She is beautiful and hardworking and smart. It’s not fair why she gets to be famous actress for acting when her talent isn’t as good as many other. She should be famous for being a model, not an actress. God bless her.
I love Bai Ze in VoS! Bai Ze one of my top favorite characters ever ❤️ 😎
