It's a weekend family drama - they are typically 50+ episodes airing Sat/Sun. The Family daily dramas are usually…
Idk why people are so suprised every time π I get the reason to avoid them because it's way harder to finish them but I don't understand why everyone is so suprised. As if there aren't shows out there with 100+ episodes. I grew up watching series that played all year long. I blame Netflix who brought up the trend of shows with 8-12 episodes each season lol.
Okay, who is going to sign up as a Charter member of "Masochists United"? The first training session will be held…
Meee hahah! Although, I'm going to join in a few weeks later, I'm waiting for a few episodes to come out first. I promised myself after YLAG that I would never watch one of the writer's dramas again but oh well I don't have a kdrama that interests me in the moment and I like the cast. Idk if I can watch till the end though, we'll see.
Just finished this! It was very silly (a lot of things didn't make sense) but funny too. `Hao Liang frustrated me sometimes but she was somewhat endearing and a bit relatable to me. Gu Jiu Li might be my favorite cdrama male lead ever! Seriously, he was so sweet and kind. His naivete in the dating department made him hilarious. It was so refreshing to see a CEO who has the whole package (looks ans brains) but is not condescending about it. The way he was looking at the fl with puppy eyes was so cute!! I can't say I really cared for the supporting characters. I liked Hao Liang's aunt as an individual but not in her relationship with Han Yi Jie. Speaking of him, I still don't know if I like him or not even after finishing the drama lol. He annoyed me a lot sometimes but other times he was sweet. Pan Pan and Zhu Yi were unlikable and unnecessary characters for me . I'd prefer to see more of the office team than them. The ending wasn't very satisfying in the romance department but I think this story is more about the fl's growth anyway. Overall, it was entertaining because of the leads. If you want something to watch with your mind off, this is perfect!
I have low expectations for this one cause this writer's dramas tend to get messy and frustrating. Like there will probably be a lot of characters that you'll want to slap in the face lol (although that's quite common in family dramas nowadays). Her last drama went downhill but it had some nice moments here and there. I'll also check this out for the cast (with caution) and see if there's a character or a couple that I can connect with.
This had a cute premise but the writing was bad. The characters especially were written very superficially, and because of that, the relationships between them didn't feel like they had any depth either. There were times where I wondered why are these people friends? What do they like about each other? Idk maybe it's just me. I loved the second couple but unfortunately, I didn't care for any character by the time I finished this. I guess it's on me because I thought this was going to resemble Hilarious Family since they have a similar theme and I got my expectations set up really high.
I MAY try this one since I like the leads. I need a daily or weekend drama that is actually good. We haven't had…
Same! The cast looks good and at least I know that things are going to get crazy this time. It's not like YLAG where I was expecting an Once Again type of weekender lol.
Okay but can we talk about how natural the second couple's chemistry was?! Ah I loved all the characters a lot in this and all the couples were so cute!!
is this makjang? i want to watch it coz i love the main leads
This writer's dramas in general fall under the makjang category. But don't think Penthouse level of craziness, it's more like people are screaming and crying a lot (probably after the 1/3 of the drama). Also, there will be some annoying scheming and toxic characters. I watched her last one till the end and it really went downhill, the toxic characters got sooo frustrating and the main couple had like four (?) breakups. The director in this one is better so I have some hope that maybe it will be a tiiiny bit better but I'm keeping my expectations low.
