There is a scene with Boss where they are on a bicycle and Mek's brown contact slips and you can see his blue eye... That annoyed me more than anything.

Me just leaving a long rant as to why I think Duen is the most toxic... Hahaha... That must be why they found each other.. lol

Have you seen friendzone? Straight + gay couples.. S2 has lesbian couple added into it... I think all the actors are handsome / beautiful, and if you are into bitchy drama, it's probably the best I have seen.. Only warning, it is quite mean in places, so it did make me a little sad, but I knew it was a show so I tried to just enjoy the drama lol.

I have easily watched this series 10+ times...
Mainly because when my anxiety gets bad, Bohn & Ben make me laugh and I feel better... But also I find the pace and pronunciation of words clear (I am learning Thai and other shows can be a little more difficult to understand).

Every time I watch this show, I notice aspects to characters I hadn't seen before. I really do not like Duen... At first I was more turned off by Bohn's jealously, but now I ask, why did Bohn even like Duen? Duen hit's him, takes him to the hospital where he insults Bohn by not addressing him as P'Bohn in front of Thara. When he is at the kinder-garden picking up his sister and shouts at Bohn saying "You aren't even my friend", all the kids are looking over like "what is happening".. Duen allowing his friends to test Bohn, is very toxic. He get's angry at Bohn for fighting Ram when it was Ram that made Bohn fight. Instead of communicating with Bohn about the whole "Husband-Wife" thing, instead he turns mean and Bohn is left clueless and goes drinking away his sorrows. Bohn is insecure and he needs to work on that but Duen doesn't help. Making Bohn jealous by saying he kissed someone before, and taking Frong out for ice-cream to further upset Bohn, then afterwards he tells Bohn he kissed a Teddy Bear!.. He makes Bohn jump through hoops just to get a date. I could write so much more, but I don't think anyone would read, it's far too long...

Basically Duen is my least favourite character, Bohn is my favourite. The best couple is probably MekBoss, but I do like RamKing too....

I don't usually cry watching shows, but I was a mess at the end of this.
I gave this 9/10 because no show is ever perfect.
I feel some parts could be left out, while other parts needed more explanation.
Regardless, the main actors really delivered. The writing made it painfully clear that Rang was less missed than Yeon. And as someone who has had real life abandonment , for me, that was the real heartbreak in show. A selfless act where you are fully aware you will be the less missed brother.

Oh yeah, the company would want a break up. It's not just 4 months of filming, it's all the meet and greets, will there be a season 2.. any award nights, talk show etc.. Look at everyone still shipping SingtoKrist and wasn't Sotus 2016? That's 5 years... not 4 months..

This was probably the only time I wanted a bit more fluff.. The tweets really got to me. Social media really can be a toxic place. Everytime I get hate, I know, only hurt people, hurt people and this anonymous person clearly has something going on in their personal life. Rather than working on it, they lash out at me.. But this isn't a few messages. I'm say here trying to imagine getting bombarded with that level of hate because people can't distinguish between a character and a human with a personal life..

I agree with you too. I am 100% Sib in this, because like you said, I would be really upset that Gene didn't even fight back a little bit. He walked away ,wrapping it up in "it is what is best for you Sib"... Sib is a big boy, he can make his own decisions and if he's willing to break the contract then Gene should at least acknowledge that. Talk it through more. Gene is scared. More scared than he want's to admit.

At this stage the less I know about Aoey the better. Yes he had a rough time which would have caused trauma, but taking your hurt out on other people is not okay. I've had too many Aoeys in my life, I've no energy for it anymore..

It breaks the reality for me. They are doing a really good job at showcasing toxic fans.. The pain it brings to actors real lives.. Then you have Aoey's family who don't accept him and GeneSib whose families do, and it shows how their mental health is affected. All great..

Then Aoey pulls shit like this, drugging the drink etc.. and Gene still talks to him.. The company only have an issue with GeneSib.. No way.. No way..

They don't have public girlfriends while the show is airing though.. In We Best Love & Manner of Death, both Sam & Max had girlfriends during the airing and it didn't go down well..

I don't understand these fans.. When I am talking about a character I can get into the storyline and discuss it as if the show was reality, but as soon as I use the actors real name, I completely disassociate and am like " of course he has a personal life"..

Thanks for this.. I didn't connect that feeling, probably because Aoey seems to have no regard for anyone so I didn't think he felt sorry for Gene.. I thought he was crying for himself cause he saw Gene so upset meaning Gene really cares for Sib and not Aoey...

Kinda? I'd have absolutely killed him.. No way can he say a live like that would do any good.. It 100% was to cause more trouble. He's psychotic.. I'd refuse to work with him.

He is completely mentally unstable and incredibly toxic... He intimidates Gene saying he want's Sib... Turns around and tries to steal Gene from Sib.. He texts Gene all the time.. He lied about drugging the drink.. He does that stupid live that would not have any other outcome except more trouble.. I really liked Aoey when he went home to his family and stood up to his father, but now he is acting in such a way that no one will want to be around him. If he dies alone, it's his own fault.. I don't care what daddy issues he has, what self loathing, when you don't process your emotions in a healthy way, you become toxic to be around.. We don't cause all our own problems but we have to fix them anyway. He's not even trying to fix a damn thing.

Gene: Is doing what most people would if this was reality. No matter how much it hurts.

Sib. I'd be Sib, I'd quit, break the contract, give them my money, address the insane fans on social media, log out & ignore all the hate. With the back story, nothing would be more important to me than Gene.

Aoey: I thought I knew how this guy was mentally breaking, but he crumbled a completely different way. I'd be furious at his live more than anything else. Honestly, I'd have tried to fire him ages ago..

Tum: I'd have quit too.. Haha. As you guys can probably tell, I'm of the mind frame that another job will always come (it always has for me anyway), No job is worth a decline in my mental health. Family, no family, BYE!

Hin: I am concerned. Is he going to troll, make himself un-alive, what is going to happen there..

Tiffy is as ridiculous as Aoey.

Gene's Father turned out to be a sweetheart, I love how he told him to cry it out. That isn't said to men by their fathers enough.. Not crying isn't a flex, it's an issue.

The stupid brother turned out to be the clever one... It broke my heart.

I hate that they killed the mother, but boy oh boy, my favourite scene was when Vincenzo showed up to the house with them all inside.. I played it 3 times.. The my body was nearly screaming out the emotions..

Comedy is listed first, so that was what I expected most, after reading the bio. Like a list of ingredients, it goes from most to least. I started watching because of a clip on tiktok. I didn't realise it would be like this either.. I am not fan of most of the tenants, but I let it slide because everything else is good. Every now and then the tenants are funny / have a sweet moment which redeems them. This is also the first show were I genuinely liked/accepted the short comings of the villain (until Vincenzo's mom).. Which made me question my morals & if my mentality towards life was changing.. Haha.. I am probably more dramatic than the show.

Up until Vincenzo's Mom, He was the first villain in a show that I couldn't help but like.. Now I just want to see the mouse get eaten.

Is everything in this show realistic? Hell no.. Comedy is mentioned in the description for a reason. Everything doesn't have to be serious all the time. It doesn't have to be exact. Where would Fantasy and Si-Fi be if rules had to be obeyed.. Vincenzo is excellent because you can not assume everything correctly. The main characters are great at acting. You laugh, you cry, you get angry, whole range of emotions wash over you, and just about every episode ends with you hating that you have to wait a week for more.. Some people shit on this because it's not all depressing, suicidal, mafia, fuck my life scenarios. The world is miserable enough without having to be depressed watching tv too.. Get yourself a pet pigeon, some instant coffee, rice wine and chill out.. Otherwise you are living the life of a mouse..
