Ngl, I found it hilarious that Chu Zhao's maid died from a stab wound from a small knife in what looked like her…
This was my exact reaction LOL. I cannot believe a rich spoiled naive woman who had no fighting experiences whatsoever had the ability to STAB and *KILL* CZ's maid with a mere DAGGER. It was absurd.
The long wait was worth it for the main couple (honorable mention: the second cp and all the friendship bonds present) but the plot towards the end was not it.
Nevertheless if we set aside all these things, it was fun being a part of this viewing journey
At first, i just found CZ just an annoying person, but toward the end he became hateful and shameful..
I liked CZ at first actually, I understood his affection for He Yan. But the person he became in the end was just not it. I don't think it was this bad in the novel.
So is she still blaming him for everything and making him feel like shit? Or have they started a little bit to…
Yes, I love that they have mutual understanding. Athough ML often worries that her decisions are highly influenced by the so-called "script," he still respects her and her choices. Additionally, he continues to take care of her even though he himself is facing tons of challenges. Vice-versa with the FL, she says she don't like ML yet does everything she can to defend and protect him. ๐
This time, the emperor asked for evidence, that's a first. And Nan Rui is starting to think with his head. Maybe…
What if...the emperor is only being like this to NHโsince childhoodโto take down his uncle? ๐ฉ Anyways Nan Rui realizing everything was still somewhat useless, he even hurt our ML's feelings ๐ญ๐

She isn't blaming him for everything anymore. She's unconsciously taking his side now. But she still doesn't dare accept his feelings due to their 'fate' as written in the script.
