Same! Moon Embracing the Sun is THE drama for me, cuz not only did it make me love historical dramas (thou I already loved them XD), but give a chance for Asian dramas altogether, it totally got me dragged into dramaland :D
p.s. which drama is that first picture from? with the badass female? I either know of, have seen or you have named it for the other dramas ;)
No way would I like that kind of plot in reality, but I gotta admire Japan for actually picking up such a topic, as always. And it's pure hypocrisy how people are ok with the huge age gap in school setting when the teacher is male yet now riot when the same is shown and the teacher is female , talk about super annoying (-_-)
yup... it's the government thats scary... not the person whose worth a billion dollars and still decided to cheat…
Do I detect sarcasm? Never said Fan BingBing did ok by not paying taxes, obviously that's not ok, but in any other country if a famous actor did this, they would not disappear for months without a trace as if dead, we'd still know where the person is and what's going on, thus, you bet that the government of China is damn scary and not the criminal
oh, so she's finally been found? Good to know. It was really worrisome how such a famous person can just disappear without a trace, while I do love c-dramas and Chinese culture, the current China's government can be scary
"a modern equivalent of Kim Yoo Jung and Yeo Jin Goo" ....that's pretty accurate indeed! It does feel like these two in the drama might become next child stars like Kim Yoo Jung & Yeo Jin Goo, always a joy to watch
Are you kidding me? Yoon Gyun Sang AND Kim Yoo Jung? This is a MUST watch!!!! :D Two of my fav actors together, niiiiice :D
Also, gah, seriously? People are going crazy over age gap AGAIN? ...what's wrong with you people? So long as there's no explicit sex scene or smt along that what does it matter if the actors have a 10 or more year age difference? So long as the plot is good and acting great, everything's ok. And - I really wonder if all of you would be so vocal about the age gap if it was reversed - the woman the older, and the man the younger, somehow I doubt you'd be so angry/whatever then.
I liked it and for an adaption it did good, I just hope they'll continue and not leave us with just one movie since this was just the beginning ;)
Looks wise my only complaints are Rukia's hair, thou that kinda can be forgiven, but Orihime...it was neither orange NOR long, like...why? Biggest feature missing can be kinda forgiven, but still.... XD I've never understood it - if cosplayers can get the looks down to near perfection...how the hell can live adaptions NOT when they've got all the tools to do so? Just how?
And recognized Chad right away.
Plot wise, directing, characters and so forth - was well done, nothing excellent but neither bad, I liked it and will probably even rewatch sometime. And as others mentioned, the fight scenes were also nicely done.
Thou the biggest letdown was that I totally missed Bleach's OST, the movies wasn't bad, but damn, did I want to hear anime's OST ;D

And it's really great that you added their networks ;)
for that alone I'll give this a try...that and So Ji Sub and hopefully the plot delivers ;D
