Saw the trailer on YT by chance, seems interesting, so gonna watch it ^^

Yoon Shi Yoon? He was amazing in Mirror of the Witch, gonna watch just for him

lolz, when I first saw the movie when it came out I recognized only Andy Lau from chinese cast, but now after I've seen some more dramas...ahahhaha they actually got so many great chinese actors in the movie and I had no idea, gotta re-watch it again just to pay more attention to them XD

Lu Han I only got to know of after Fighter of the Destiny, cuz I'm not big on music, but liked him there
Peng Eddie I saw and liked in Sound of the Desert
Huang Xuan is gonna be in Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy
Lin Geng Xin...does it even need mentioning? Princess Agents

For some reason I just find it reaaaally funny cuz it had all those great actors I like now (and even without knowing it, I liked the movie as it was) whom I wasn't aware of then, yeah, definitely gonna re-watch super carefully it this time ;D and there are probably some more if I looked up the cast more thoroughly XD

As for movie itself, for once hollywood didn't mess up a movie that's set in asia and it felt authentic to the culture it's portraying instead of some hollywood parody...probably cuz it was made mostly by china ;p
The movie delivered exactly what it promised - a simple & uncomplicated monster movie with action, just entertainment - nothing more, nothing less. A proper chinese fantasy movie :)

p.s....it also had Pilou Asbæk? evil uncle form GoT? ahahahahaha damn, no wonder I liked the movie so much, it had an amazing cast

I loved it! Wouldn't say it was great or super amazing, but certainly very good! Fun & easy, gonna re-watch it again sometime :)

This drama is soooo addicting! With one of the best female leads ever! She's got both brains & martial arts! So rare to see a female lead who's not a doormat, good freaking week idiot allowing everyone to walk all over her, nope, not here, she's gonna give right back! Love it!
