Those 4 are usually what brings me in to watch a drama. Or a rare sometime it's a music video of the drama someone's made that I've seen on youtube, those also manage to lure me in, but I'd still check the 4 before I start watching it ^^
But you're right, the pretty covers pull me in - either gorgeous pretty like those of Chinese historicals or simple pretty like those with romance, however those like Cheese in the trap, Itazura Na Kiss, It Stasted with a Kiss and Sleepeeer Hit? NO way, those make me avoid the dramas like they're the plague *shudders*
Aside from the pretty covers (of all variety) I also like those who have a meaning or connection with the drama's plot, not necessary anything secretive that gets revealed, but more like symbolic ;)
Oooooh you're right, these would make interesting/good dramas! Sadly, of these I've only read the pillow books, but now will try to find these others as well ^^
Chaos of Beauty - it would be great because it doesn't have the females being villainous and plotting against each other, that's so rare!
3W3L The Pillow Book - Of course I'm 100% rooting for The Pillow Books to be adapted to drama with Dilmurat Dilraba & Gao Vengo retaining their roles! They totally stole the show in Eternal Love! And reading about them in the novel, yeah, same as you, I loved them more than Yehua & Bai Qian, impossible not to cuz we get to see Donghua's pov
Falling Dreams of Fang Hua - might be interesting
Eight Treasures Trousseau - a female lead that wants to live a carefree life, that'd be nice to see
Heavy Sweetness Ash Like Frost - my kind of story, nuff said :D
The Demon King/The Parting of Orchid and Cang - this might be rather hilarious :D
So the little fox & the ghost king, huh? How come those two got cast as the leads in two dramas? This one and also The King's woman? They could've at least given us one drama with Dilraba & Vengo, their chemistry in Eternal Love was the best!
Whoa, how come Dilraba & Zhang Vin are cast together as the main leads not just in one drama "The King's Woman" but two dramas - also in Blazing Ruge? Sure, they were great in their roles in Eternal Love, but why cast them as the leads in TWO dramas? Couldn't they have cast at least her in one drama with Gao Vengo?
