I only have nice things to say about this drama, oh my gosh!!!

It is such a lovely series, the story is beautiful, there's not a single boring moment, no unnecessary or weird scenes, no things that don't make sense (well, as far as fantasy kdramas go at least), lots of great memorable moments, the production is top notch, amazing visuals, really funny parts that made me literally laugh like crazy and repeat said parts, beautiful fashion, it's just perfect for me!

Don't even get me started on the chemistry, Jisoo and Seo In Guk made me go crazy!!! I actually never really liked In Guk's face for some reason so I would always avoid his dramas, but I really wanted to watch this one for Jisoo and for the plot. He was soooo well written to the point that his face actully grew on me and now I like him! :)) I admit that he really is a great actor too (also I really love his voice), and on the other hand Jisoo improved a lot, I have a big girl crush on her and I think that she makes a great actress and has a very pleasant presence, so yeah, I really liked seeing them together. They made me feel all the tension and the love, I don't remember when was the last time I giggled so much at a kdrama, they complemented each other very well. Major kudos to the writer and the director as well of course, they did amazing with these two characters, just like with the entire series.

This should have definitely been longer, it deserved 16 episodes. I really liked how it has that classic kdrama charm, but with a refreshing twist. It's a 10/10 from me, which happens extremely rarely. I loved it so much! <3

One thing about this drama, they'll never forget their meals! :)) The amount of food and mukbangs here could give "Bon appetit, your majesty" a run for its money, for real.

I was expecting more tbh, I had been looking forward to this for a long time since finding out that two of my favorite actors would be the main leads, Ji Sung and Park Hee Soon, The story was great overall, but the execution wasn't very good unfortunately. I was pretty lost a lot of times altough I am pretty used to watching complicated dramas. There were many weird and/or unnecessary scenes imo. And it would get boring every now and then.

I kinda couldn't wait to finish it. I think 12 episodes would have been enough. Or at least maybe shorter episodes. The production was exceptional though and all the actors did an amazing job.

8,5/10, mostly because of Ji Sung and Park Hee Soon.
On Nice to Not Meet You Jan 29, 2026
A feel-good and relaxing series where nothing bad really happens. I enjoyed it but I didn't really feel the chemistry between the main leads, they had cute moments but they seemed like just a fangirl and her celebrity crush thing. Giving that YouTube show where fans get to go on a date with their fav celebrity vibes. :D They didn't really look good together either and I don't thinks it's just because of the age difference.

The fact that the female lead was so annoying for like half of the kdrama didn't help either, why was she so weird and mean to the male lead? Actually I think that poor Lim Hyeon Jun was always treated pretty badly by everybody around him, I was always on his side.

Also, I really like Lee Jung Jae, he's a great actor and easy on the eyes despite his age, I loved watching him here, but one of the main reasons why I wanted to watch this was Kim Ji Hoon who apparently is the second male lead. That is such a scam, I think I saw Hyeon Jun's manager and the director more than the hottie Ji Hoon. :(

Almost forgot to mention Hyon Jun's fashion, I've never seen a male lead get so many different outfits and accessories, the sylist really worked hard. I loved all the outfits, Lee Jung Jae can pull off literally anything. (I would especially love it when he was wearing little scarves around his neck). I really liked his cars and his house too, :)) Can't say the same about the female lead, but thankfully her fashion got better in the last episodes, mainly the final one.

Overall pretty entertaining, I really laughed quite a lot and the story was actually nice. But I watched it on the 1,25 speed because otherwise I would have gotten bored. :))

8,5/10 mostly for Lee Jung Jae, he did great.

Title Taxi Driver Season 3 Spoiler
This season doesn't really deserve a 9,5 like the others in my books, but love is blind and I'm smitten with the…
I love how two of my predictions actually came true: a cameo of a previous victim and a kpop case. I loved seeing Maria in not one, but two cameos, I'm so glad that she's doing well.

I liked how they punished the bad guys much harsher this season, they all pretty much died or were badly injured. I was a bit taken aback by some scenes where Kim Do Gi was more brutal than I was used to, but I am not complaining, they all deserved it/

I also loved how all the victims of this season appeared at the end. However wth was that last case, writers, come on!!! Didn't really make any sense, and the way Kim Do Gi got shot and almost died because of an old dude after fighting hundreds of men was ridiculous.

That ending was a masterpiece, the best prank ever in a kdrama. I think it's pretty clear that we're getting a forth season, it would be crazy not to make another one, the team is just that amazing and, unfortunately, they will always find cases to get inspiration from.
On Taxi Driver Season 3 Jan 23, 2026
This season doesn't really deserve a 9,5 like the others in my books, but love is blind and I'm smitten with the Rainbow Team.

I didn't really like the way they dragged two of the cases a bit too much, 3 episodes for a case should have been enough, 4 weren't necessary. Also, the last case was so messy and weird, like... it looked more like a parody, not sure what went through the writer's and the director's minds...

But other than that, it was such a spectacular ride. The cases were interesting, we had really evil villains that actually got what they deserved in the end. (I posted a story while watching the series, mentioning that my favorite part in Taxi Driver is when evil guys beg for mercy:)) )

The way they presented the victims' sad stories was even more sorrowful, the plans overall were great, the revenges satisfying, the action scenes amazing and the wholesome parts really nice. I didn't get bored at all, to me it's the kind of kdrama that makes you forget about time.

The production got even better. I loved the editing, the transitions, the sounds, the attention to detail. All the actors did a formidable job, especially my favorite team ever, I swear I've never seen a better chemistry and I've seen a lot of romantic kdramas. I loved how Kim Do Gi got to do so many more things this time (insert dancing emoji).

I would like to pretend like the last two episodes didn't happen, except for the actual ending of the season which was a masterpiece in itself.

Once again, 9,5/10, pretty much just thanks to the Rainbow Team. I need at least 7 more seasons.

Is there any romance between the second leads?
No, but they do have relationships with others.
On My Troublesome Star Dec 22, 2025
Such a lovely drama, I didn't expect this to be so good.
Many funny and wholesome scenes, the kind of cozy drama that's perfect for this time of the year, with just the right amount of plot so that it's not boring.

The story was really nice and all the actors did great. I liked the overall vibe, it's giving old kdrama. A few plot holes but nothing too crazy. I would have liked there to be more between the leads, for a romantic series that features two older adults this was too PG :)). (I supposed one of them opposed so maybe that's why...)

All in all, a cute drama.

p.s. Song Seung Hoon is so hot!!!! Can't believe he's 49, he looks like he's 30.

What a crazy drama, and not in a good way.

At first I thought that this would be the satisfying story of a baddie, but it was just... the story of an evil girl that never matured imo. My conclusion is that the writer is a sadist, tormenting her so much and us as viewers at the same time, they wanted to see "how far we are willing to go for her". Sometimes I would feel guilty for rooting for her, and other times I would feel guilty for not rooting for her.

Kim Yoo Jung did an absolutely fantastic job, she definitely deserves any awards she gets for this. It must be her best role in terms of acting and complexity. But I really disliked her. :)) (I think it's mostly the fact that she's not your average villain, she is supposed to make you feel simpathy for her and be conflicted and stuff, and all this really bothered me, you can't just hate her in peace like you do with other villains). The male leads were soooo annoying, especially that Kim Young Dae guy, it's my first time seeing him and his whole face is just so punchable, Idk, sorry maybe it's just the role here. :))))) The actors in general did great, too bad they were all crazy or super irritating!!!

Overall the story was just so obnoxious but I was intrigued and stayed until the end., the suspense was there. The directors did an amazing job thankfully and kinda saved the day, but the more I watched, the more I couldn't wait to finish it. Way too brutal at parts, like we get what's going on, why insist so much on certain things... Also, I am not ok with the fact that they made such young kids film certain scenes.

It's a well made drama tbh but it's just that the story is too much, I wouldn't recommend it.

On Genie, Make a Wish Dec 5, 2025
THIS.DRAMA.IS.PERFECT!!!

I can't even find the words to describe how much I loved it. It was simply too amazing and I don't understand why the ratings here are so low, I was expecting at least a 8,5, but to each their own. I gave it a 10 and I do that extremely rarely (like 6 dramas out of more than 150). I tend to give a lot of 9.5 because I always find tiny things that bother me, and even here there were a few very tiny, but it's fantasy and it's a kdrama so I just had to roll with it because overall it just made me FEEL A LOT!

It made me smile, laugh, swoon and cry so much! The script was pretty much flawless and so was the directing. A few plot holes but I really couldn't care less because of how entertaining and full of feels it was. :)) Really loved the aesthetics, the fashion, the fantastic elements. The pace was chef's kiss, there were no boring or unnecessary moments and the ending was not rushed. Lots of scenes and details that scratched my brain just right or tugged at my heartstrings.

The actors did an amazing job, Suzy and Kim Woo Bin especially, major kudos to them!!! Their chemistry was so beautiful! I really liked the way Suzy portrayed a psychopath, she did so well! And Kim Woo Bin was just right for the genie role, he's not my cup of tea as a man but I loved him so much here.

It would have been even better if it had more episodes, like 16, or even 20 because it really deserved it. Or at least longer episodes, like 1hour 20 minutes. So sad that exceptional dramas like this one and Bon appetit, your majesty only get a small number of episodes. Really hoping for a second season, I can already see how that would be so fun to watch.

Once again, 10/10.

Great kdrama, if you leave aside the exaggerated use of:
"Oh, we are cops but, sorry, we forgot our guns at home, it's time to flex our fighting skills"
"Oh, looks like we can't get any back up, but it's ok, we can handle it"
"Oh, I'm the main hero/main villain, don't worry, I have like 1000 lives"
"Oh, this situation is so absurd, but it's funny, so let's just roll with it"
:))

But apart from those things, the drama is actually really nice. Very entertaining, fast paced and funny. The production is amazing. I love how much it made me laugh and also how it was so suspenseful at times. They worked so much on the action scenes, kudos to the entire team.

I'm always a sucker for team oriented kdramas, and this one didn't disappoint. Really nice teamwork, they had great chemistry. And speaking of chemistry, the main leads also made such a lovely couple, I need to see them in a rom com now. <3

Speaking of actors, Park Bo Gum did a great job, although his perfect face and teeth didn't make for a realistic former boxer that gets beat up on a daily basis, perhaps someone with a rough face would have been a better choice. :)) I actually feel like he's never looked this handsome, omg! Not that I'm complaining. :)) And I loved how he was swooning for Hana, so adorable. ^^ Kim So Hyun also did great, loved seeing her as a baddie, she really pulled it off imo despite having such a baby face.

Heo Sung Tae did a totally different role this time and I love that for him. We are so used to seeing him as a tough bad guy, but he pulled off this funny role so well. Loved his chemistry with Bo Gum, they were the ones that made me laugh almost all the time.

Oh Jung Se did amazing too, although once again, I am used to seeing him in a different kind of role. He never disappoints.

This is such a great drama I stopped watching kdrams for a long time and started with this one and it didn’t…
Yes, I was also sad because of the eunuch and the court lady, they really didn't have to die :((
I didn't feel that sorry for the other guy because well he was pretty much a gray character, but I did feel sorry for the king...
I agree, there should have been more episodes, this could have easily been a 16 eps drama. I wouldn't have minded more cooking stuff and also a very lengthy ending.

It definitely deserves the hype in my opinion. Such a beautiful drama, I loved it so much!Although I was a bit…
Regarding the plot holes, well, maybe I just missed it, but why was his mother killed...? And why was the Ming convoy leader so rude? Like I get it, they were basically China, super powerful and all that, but still, to have no respect for the king of another country and act so nasty, give one point to the cooking team that actually made you cry tears of joy and take 100 hundred women as tribute? Made no sense to me.

Also, how did their little army at the end manage to win when fighting the big army at the palace, like come on, they were already struggling with the soldiers in the forest, and already hurt too? :))

I was about to mention the fact that the king not having a queen but having a concubine is also another plot hole, but I just searched and yeah, apparently it could happen.

The cooking competitions were amazing, respectfully, y'all need to shut up! :)) I especially loved the one with the Ming cooks, yes, despite taking like two full episodes, it didn't seem boring to me at all. And I loved how it ended being fair, and they all acknowleged each other and it wasall good vibes between the cooks. (For a while I actually believed that the Ming main chef was also from the future. Not sure why he helped them so much, he didn't seem to be working for anyone in the end, he simply vanished.)

I see people mentioning the main leads' chemistry wasn't good and their romance wasn't properly built, but I have to disagree. I think that for a 12 episodes series they did a good job and showed a lot of cute moments between them. Their love languages were gifts giving and acts of service basically. :) I actually cried a lot for them so I believe the actors did amazing as a couple.

Since the beginning I had a feeling that they were going to end up happily together in modern times. So glad it actually happened, but I really wish they showed us how he managed to get to her at the end. And also more of them together, of him adjusting to that life. So glad that he wasn't needed anymore in the Joseon time because otherwise he couldn't have done it. :)) The poor new king was way too young, I felt so sorry for him, but hopefully without the bad guys and under the guidance of his mother he managed pretty well. Speaking of his mother, it bothered me that she never actually apologized to cook Yeon after torturing her, and didn't even thank her for saving her son with her nourishing food. The director should have added an extra scene here.

They should make a special episode where they show us how the main leads live in the present, I would so love that, just them being cute and lovey-dovey and cheona being amazed by everything and stuff! :((
On Bon Appetit, Your Majesty Nov 14, 2025
It definitely deserves the hype in my opinion. Such a beautiful drama, I loved it so much!

Although I was a bit reluctant at first because, despite really liking Yoona and the plot, Chae Min just didn't really seem a good choice for me. Don't get me wrong, it's my first time seeing him and I just happened to not really like his face, his gaze is kinda giving arrogance, I don't know :)) But I decided to leave that aside and I enjoyed the drama so much! Speaking of Chae Min, he did a spectacular job, the role of a king, a powerful and evil one at that, is very difficult to pull off, major kudos to him! And I was so surprised to find out that he's only 25!! Not that he looks old, but to be able to pull off this role at such a young age, wow!

The story was really nice and the pace just perfect, not a single dull moment, almost no plot holes. The chemistry was great between all the characters too. An amazing watch, the kind of show that makes you forget about time, and that's what happens when the director knows what they are doing, because you might have the best actors, story, sets and a big budget, but it just won't be enough if the director doesn't do justice to them.

The cooking scenes were so well done, I don't understand why some people complain about them. But then again, I love cooking shows. :)) The suspense was top notch and I loved the team work. Yoona was perfect for this role.

The ending was rushed, unfortunately, but it was exactly the one that I wanted, fortunately. :D

I don't think my fingers and my toes would be enough to count all the things that were wrong with this drama, but I'll mention the major ones that bothered me the most :))

- why didn't she know how to fight properly if she was supposedly such a great bodyguard that knew martial arts?
- why didn't she and the male lead use the gun when they had the chance?
- why did she forget about the hidden camera in the cottage?
- why didn't the villain try to just kill her sooner, she could have just sent more men in Muchang after her, or even when she came back to Seoul?
- why didn't they have proper security and kept the old staff and didn't change the locks?
- why did they leave the chairman alone when they knew he had dementia? his way to get the confession out of her was so forced, I'm sure there could have been a better way. I understand that he was about to die anyway, but why die in such a terrible way?
- why was she late at her chingu's wedding? I know this is so minor in comparison to the other things, but still :))
- also, who became the chairman in the end if she went back to Muchang?
