Title Squid Game Season 3 Spoiler
Such a shame that the rating is so small, this was truly a great season, I gave it a 9,5. I also wanted a different…
Deep down, I hoped that the cop would manage to reach the island just in time so that there wouldn't be more deaths. I was pretty pissed that he struggled so much and it was so funny how he barely spent like five minutes on the island, but hey, at least he did find it. :)) Too bad he and the coast guards couln't catch anybody, but at least thanks to him, the game ended in South Korea (presumably). Everybody is so mad at him, but let's not forget that this game has been going on for decades, of course their security measures were the best of the best and they would think of everything in order to keep the island a secret. The reason why Jun Ho even managed to get that far was because he was the Frontman's brother, who knows how many others tried to do the same and were killed asap. At the end of the day, just like everybody is saying, at least he served face the entire series. :))

Poor Gi Hun was so traumatized and hurt after everything that he wanted to just kill himself, so it made perfect sense when he saved the baby at the end. I think that if he had the chance, he would surive just to take care of the child, but that damn button, the writer just wanted to make us suffer, that was so unnecessary... But not impossible, of course, especially in that tense situation, you can forget about such a trivial thing like that. The temptation to just follow the Frontman's advice and kill the other contestants that were all pretty bad anyway must have been so big, and yet he still didn't do it. I kinda wish he did, ngl. The drama kinda teaches you that yes, humanity is great and we should all strive to have it, but if you are too human, you will only end up bad/dead. That's the reality in many cases unfortunately. And the way he was supposed to kill them was pretty bad anyway, much worse than just pushing them off a tall building for example, like in the last game. It makes sense why he couldn't do it.

Speaking of the baby, people are so mad at the father but this game made everybody go a bit or a bit more crazy, so he was so paranoid at the end thinking that Gi Hun would kill him and that's why he wanted to make sure he would stay back. And then, when he and the baby were the only ones left, of course he would save himself, it wasn't necessary about the money anymore, just life vs death. Do y'all think you would kill yourself, especially for a child that yes, is yours, but that you didn't even have time to develop feelings for? Would you really? As I said, Gi Hun already was suicidal so it made sense in his case, and even if he wasn't, he was just the purest kind of soul that is extremely rare to find, considering that he even went back in the games to save people, so yeah, maybe he would have saved the baby. But it's the same thing that happened in the first season, people were so mad at Sangwoo, but if your life was in danger, you would most probably do the same things or worse. People want to think that they would be saints in these situations...

However, I am not defending Myeon Gi for what he did overall, he was such a cruel person, influenced by Nam Gyu yeah, but still, he had that evilness in him. They could have easily chilled after one kill during the Hide and Seek game but no, they chose to kill more people so the prize would be bigger. And he even killed Hyun Joo, despite knowing that she was a friend of Jun Hee's. All the people that wanted the game to continue after reaching such a big sum of money were also so evil and tbh, deserved their death (that's why Gi Hun should have just killed them when he had the chance ugh... although maybe the VIPs would have been mad and who knows what could have happened then).

Now, the old woman was amazing and I was rooting for her, but seriously, how could you choose somebody else that you basically just met instead of your own son? Everybody dislikes the son but at least he didn't want to kill his mother, his actions made more sense than hers. And he even hesitated in killing the first person, he wasn't a bad guy, he only wanted to live and was desperate. I was so sad when Geum Ja killed herself, I thought at least taking care of Jun Hee and her daughter could have motivated her to keep going...

Her friendship with Jun Hee and Hyun Joo was so lovely, one of my favorite things of this season. And don't even get me started on Hyun Joo, her death hurt me the most, omg... She's definitely one of my favorite characters, another soul probably almost as pure as Gi Hun's. I would have loved to see more of her, she actually deserved and had the power to reach the final round. Would have been nice to see her win and raise Jun Hee's baby.

Now, Jun Hee giving birth, omg, writer/director Hwang... :)) That was the most unbelievable scene in this whole series. The fact it only took like ten minutes, Jun Hee managed to do it without any complications and didn't made more noise, and also could walk and be pretty coherent afterwards, just... (And they could have at least made the cgi baby covered by blood to look more realistic) Anyway, I like the antithesis though, while others were dying, a new life was coming to earth, among all that chaos and cruelty, the ultimate innocence and hope were also present. I think that is why the writer/director wanted the baby to win.

I loved how the baby motivated the North Korean to keep living, I actually was expecting her to keep the baby. But considering that her own was supposedly found in China, it's a good thing in the end.

The fact that Player 100 reached the last game also bothered me so much. But that's just another reflection of reality, bad people would sometimes be more lucky (in this world at least) and reach "heights" that good people would deserve way more but never manage to.

I didn't like the hint at a US version, but once again, it is something that makes sense. Evil people will always exist and bad things will keep happening. The reason why I said that I'm not mad at the ending is because it... simply... just makes sense, no matter how sad that is. We all always want happy endings from series at least, if we can't get them in real life, I understand, I would have loved one too. :( I don't think I'll watch the American version, I only watch Korean series, plus I think they would make it even more brutal and creepy.

I loved analyzing all the details in this season and all the others, that is why I mentioned above that I liked the psychology behind every character and their actions. I'm sure I could find more things to talk about, but that's it for now. You can reply to my comment, I'd love to hear others' opinions and whether you agree or disagree with me.

If you reached this far, thanks for reading my essay and have a lovely day. :))

Such a shame that the rating is so small, this was truly a great season, I gave it a 9,5.
I also wanted a different ending, but I'm not mad at it, it made sense for this kind of series.
The acting, the sets, the visuals, the plot twists were really nice, the production and directing were chef's kiss, I liked the suspense and the whole psychology behind every character and their decisions, I was glued to the screen. I usually don't binge watch but I did it this time, however there were only six episodes, so...
Lots of lessons about humanity, a series that really reached my soul and made me feel many things for the characters.

Good drama, the kind that makes you wanna keep watching. I liked the plot, the pace and of course Ji Sung's acting, he did amazing. The kind of actor that really makes you feel like it's real. The villains did great too, damn.

The suspense was nice, the actions parts were well executed and all the scenes felt important, I didn't want to skip anything. Another thing that I liked was how they picked such great younger versions of them, they really looked similar and had the same vibe overall.

However there were some rookie mistakes coming from the police officers, including Jae Gyeong, the writer should have done better. Some things that didn't really make sense or could have been explained, but you can always find such things in dramas unfortunately.

Also, I was sometimes confused (mostly in the first eight episodes) because of all the "connections" between the characters and since there were so many names thrown around and they were talking a lot but not showing us scenes to go with what they were talking, which I would have appreciated a lot since I am not good with names and it took me a while to get used to all of them. :))

The 14 episodes were just enough. I appreciated that the ending was not rushed and almost everything was as it was supposed to (although I would have liked a few things to be different).

Overall a nice drama. I loved the suspense and how none of the episodes were boring, I was always looking forward to see what's coming next.

Unfortunately, a lot of things that didn't make sense and that pissed me off. So many things they could have done differently but the writers just wanted to complicate stuff and make the drama reach 16 episodes. Too bad, because instead of that they could have come up with more spirits' cases and easily reach to 16 episodes. Some really unnecessary deaths too imo, but I guess it shouldn't surprise me since someone always has to die in these historical dramas...

But the acting was spectacular, especially Sung Jae's, who portrayed two characters, but also, even more so, Ji Hoon's who had such an amazing aura as a king, I was very mesmerized by him. All the actors and actresses did so well. I was impressed a lot of times and I also cried a few times.

And what actually made me give this drama a higher rating despite the things that annoyed me was the fact the relationships (the already existent ones such as the one between the king and the queen, or the king and his chief eunuch who actually became my favorite eunuch of all times, but also the ones that developed during the series) really touched me. And the bromance between Gang Cheol and the king and his people was chef's kiss.

The ending was very nice, thank God.

Also the word 'witch" is really not used correctly here, this is another thing that bothered me. "Cursed" would have been a better fit.

In my opinion, the ml didn't love her, it was just an obsession. The second couple didn't make sense either. But the plot twist in the last episodes was interesting, I'll have to give it to the writer.
The actors did great with what they had though, kudos to them.
Way too many flashbacks and repeated scenes.
They tried to make it suspenseful, but it ended up just being boring and annoying.
Overall it was such a slow drama, thank God it only had 10 episodes, I couldn't wait to finish it. But of course the ending had to be rushed, so clicheic.
I wouldn't recommend watching this one.

Just a fun watch, the kind of drama that you shouldn't take too seriously. I enjoyed watching it but there were…
I think the NIS team bothered me the most, why was Hae Seong the only one really good at fighting? I get that they wanted to create funny scenes but they were a bit too unserious, I'm sure they should have gotten training. And the way they acted in general, didn't seem very professional for this kind of team.
Also I didn't understand why they made Hae Seong take on this mission since the chances of him finding out about his dad were very high, why not pick another agent so that things wouldn't get complicated? Everything just for the entertainment of the chairwoman since she was a psycho, the NIS director just agreed to do it because of her?
Dong Ming becoming friends with two of his former bullies (even if they weren't as bad as the main bully) didn't make sense at all either, that would never happen in real life.
And why wouldn't they give the main couple more lovey-dovey moments? Such a let down because I found their chemistry scorching hot, even the second couple had more kisses than them.

Just a fun watch, the kind of drama that you shouldn't take too seriously.
I enjoyed watching it but there were so many silly scenes, what even is that NIS team, they made them look ridiculous, and they shouldn't have had to do certain things for their misson.
The chemistry between the main leads was amazing, too bad that they didn't have that many moments together.
I gave it a 9 mainly because Seo Kang Joon was so hot, because I loved how the teacher cared for the students, there were lots of wholesome moments and great acting from everybody, the psycho chairwoman did great too.

Exactly :( I didn't even think about that possibility though, why would they do that? Perhaps the actor had schedule issues?

Title Taxi Driver Season 2 Spoiler
What an amazing drama, I loved it so much!
Unfortunately I feel like it wasn't as good as the first season, and yet I still gave it the same rating, 9,5.

In my opinion, the screenwriter and the director were pretty sloppy and a lot of scenes ended up being pretty messy and full of loopholes. I can't remember everything obviously, but while watching I couldn't help but wonder how is this possible, how did they forget about a certain thing and so on. It ranged from tiny details to big stuff like the cult episode where Mr Park would manage to sneak out a couple times, I don't understand how he did it. A lot of exaggerated stuff, among which Kim Do Ki's incredible fighting skills especially while in jail, but oh well, we got used to it already, right?

The fact that the prosecutor managed to get them in jail was another unconvincing feat, like come on... And speaking of her, I was extremely disappointed because she didn't actually appear this season, I guess the actress had schedule problems because why else wouldn't she? They ended the first season with her joining their team and I was really looking forward to seeing them work together. Also, she seemingly only helped them with the jail part, but she could have done so much more, like come and save them when they almost all died. Instead they brought another character saying that she was the first Premium Taxi Driver, that was so random. Perhaps they want to leave room for a prequel where they show us the beginning of everything. I would acually love to see that. But yeah, very sad that the prosecutor wasn't part of their team this season.

The fact that Kim Do Ki didn't try to hide his face, especially while he was "dead", never sit right with me. All the bad guys that saw him might want revenge one day. He would also leave his fingerprints everywhere, and so would the other members of the team. I'm surprised the police still hadn't found out about them, just like the prosecutor did.

Regarding the ambiguous ending of some of the villains, I don't know how to feel... The gambling woman is still doing bad stuff since they didn't deal with her properly in the first season. She's so funny though, it would be so iconic if she appeared in the third season too. But the trot singer especially really had it easy in the end, let's hope he went crazy at least while looking for the treasure. A lot of the villains should have been sent to prison, the Rainbow team should have sent the proof to the police anonimously or something, especially for all the people that were part of the Bishop's clan.

But yeah, it's a kdrama and I know that there are bound too be many loopholes and things that don't really make much sense. Despite all the things that I didn't like, I was still so obsessed with this drama and currently really looking forward to the next season. It was so well done, the production costs must have been crazy, the cases were interesting and I loved seeing all the twists and the ingenious ideas, overall it made me so excited and eager to just keep watching. The Rainbow Team was always two steps ahead, loved that for them. They are actually the main reason why I am still giving a 9,5 to this drama despite all the things that I disliked. I grew so fond of them and always rooted for them. Each member was so important and nothing could be achieved if any of them were to miss, I love how they are so valuable for their dispatches. And don't even get me started on their chemistry, lots of couples in romantic dramas wished they had that chemistry. The funny lines and scenes were chef's kiss, Mr Choi and Mr Park were a great comedic duo.

I can't believe I wrote so much, this is the longest comment I've ever left here and on the internet in general. I just had so much to say. :))

Can't wait for the third season, this is really the kind of drama that I could watch ten seasons of.

What a cute little drama. Just perfect after something that hurt you a lot *cough* when life gives you tangerines *cough*
Both couples had nice chemistry. The episodes didn't feel boring. The main couple was so adorable, I really liked them. There are some cliches and predictable parts, but for some reason those things didn't bother me.
Nothing too amazing, but still a lovely series, I gave it a 9.

p.s. is it just me or the main lead is giving Song Joong Ki in Vincenzo vibes, especially when wearing a suit? not that they look alike, it's just the aura and some facial expressions I guess.

This drama should come with a warning, I cried an incredible amount of times. I thought nothing could top "Mother" and"Tomorrow", but I was so wrong.
The acting was amazing, the storyline was nice although I didn't appreciate the fact that were going so much back and forth between the past, the present and the future, it was kind of annoying a lot of times imo.
I loved so many lines a lot, especially the ones said by the elders, and there were many very nicely written dialogues. Lots of lessons to be learned from this drama.
A lot of frustrating moments, especially coming from the children, but fortunately in the end they came around.
I hated how it made me cry so much though, tbh I couldn't wait to finish it, especially the last episode. I gave it a 9 because I didn't find it that spectacular to give it a 10, and there were certain things that bothered me, as I mentioned above.

It's such a shame, this could have been a great drama.
I hated the way Soo yeon was so selfishly and stupidly stubborn in keeping the devices on even if that meant that he was risking his life. It made no sense, he could have continued his life in a wheelchair too, along the ones that really loved and cared about him, Yeoreum, the doctor, the team leader. He made them and himself suffer so much...
As a sidenote, have to say that Je Hoon did absolutely amazing, the scenes where he was struggling looked so real, I've never seen such great acting for this kind of scenes, his face was so red and swollen and all that.
The whole brothers trope was such a mess, the stupid hyung should have tried to be a good brother and reconcile instead of trying to protect Soo yeon or whatever, which he failed anyway. They should have collaborated instead. He made his younger brother suffer for so many years...
The chairman and the bad guys thing was also so weird and badly written, I didn't even understand what happened in the end, but oh well.
The last episode was so bad, very rushed, I hated that Soo Yeon was gone for a year without keeping in touch and that they didn't even show us his face, wth was that? Also, why was there a different security leader at the end? And the hyungs didn't really have their moment either, did they actually make up?
I gave it a 8,5 because the plot in the first like ten episodes was really good actually, except for the annoying hyung, I loved seeing everything that was happening at the airport, it was a refreshing drama from that point of view. Imo the leads and the second couple had great chemistry. And overall, the drama lept me watching pretty eagerly, I actually finished it in a few days.

Title Love in Contract Spoiler
Such a great drama, I really loved it. I honestly don't understand why most people seem to hate it, it's like…
There were a lot of subtleties in this drama and I think that's why people might not have liked it that much. As I mentioned earlier, Ji Ho's character development was great, my favorite in such a long time. I loved watching all the little changes in him and at the same time I appreciate that the director didn't make him change too much, at the end he was still a chill guy, that was his personality and it's perfectly fine.
I loved his chemistry with Sang Eun, they were so adorable, I'll miss seeing them have dinner . The way they understood and supported each other was very nice to see. I guess people found it easier to ship Sang Eun with Hee Jin, but she always made it pretty clear that she wasn't into him. I'm glad that the love triangle didn't last for that long and that Hee Jin was actually a real man that knows when to let go. His character was so likeable, and so was Ji Eun's after a while. I like the hint at a possible relationship between them. They were both so wholesome although in real life that wouldn't really happen, but it's great that they taught us a lesson about maturity.
I appreciated that they included a gay character and especially the fact that they didn't show the stereotypical gay guy that is shown most of the time. I adore "flamboyant" gays, they always slay, but straight people must see that there are other kind of gays out there too and I think that it can help the homophobes tolerate them more so to speak and maybe slowly stop being homophobic. I also liked the hint at a relationship with the manager, or at least I chose to see it that way. It would have been nice if the director had developed that more and make them actually have a relationship.
I loved how Sang Eun made up with her mother and how she came to call her "mom", but I didn't like how the mother made up with the bad guy, she and her daughter suffered so much because of him, it didn't really make sense.
On a sidenote, I was rooting for the fangirl to meet her idol, especially since they had common acquintances. I was expecting Hee Jin to be invited at the end too, and maybe even Ji Eun because they all got close and became friends, I don't think there was any jealousy left. It was kinda weird to have everybody else there.
Overall it was a very lovely drama and it definitely deserves a higher rating.

Such a great drama, I really loved it. I honestly don't understand why most people seem to hate it, it's like we didn't watch the same drama.
At first I was reluctant when I saw the rating as I usually agree with the ratings here, but I decided to watch it because I love Park Min Young and because the story sounded interesting. I'm so glad I gave it a go, it's not perfect, but it's a very pleasant and lovely rom-com, I gave it a 9.
I don't like love triangles but it wasn't the annoying type of love triangle and it didn't drag out for that long.
I especially liked the character development of Ji Ho. It's my first time seeing this actor and I feel like he was amazing for this role.
Overall it wasn't boring at all, I never felt the need to skip any scenes or to watch it on a faster speed. And this is coming from an action packed suspensful dramas lover. It was a relaxing drama but at the same time it kept me interested and eager to see more and care about the other characters as well not just the main leads.
I don't want to leave spoilers here, so I'll stop, but one more thing I must mention is Sang Eun's looks, OMG, every outfit was such a slay, I analyzed and loved each of them, even the ones that she wore in the house. I don't think I've seen a better dressed female character so kudos to the stylist.

Really loved this drama. Very binge-worthy, just the right amount of suspense and, in my opinion at least, not predictable. Except for the way it would end obviously since they showed it right at the beginning. I hate when they do this. (Despite that, I actually hoped that it somehow wouldn't end that way, wtf 😭)

The main leads had amazing chemistry and I adored all the lovely moments they had. All actors did great and I really liked the character development of everybody and the lessons that were learnt. Lots of hilarious scenes which I really appreciated because there were also lots of extremely heartbreaking ones. 😭😭 However, there were some absurd situations and the main leads were acting pretty weird sometimes, but I guess I can just say that they were kinda crazy. At least they suited each other and tbh I kinda liked their craziness.

For example, when Jae Mi took Hae Jo out of the hospital. Like how irresponsible can you be, he was in such a bad shape. The way she transported him and she kept him outside in the cold for a while... But I really liked the tragicomedy off the situation I guess. 😆

However, something that was pretty much out of a fever dream was that scene on the island when the gangsters boss came to kill Hae Jo. How did he end up there, they didn't give us any explanation. At one point I actually thought that somebody was once again imagining the whole thing because it was just so weird.

I would have given it a 9,5 because the journey was that amazing, but the destination also matters to me and I hate the fact that Hae Jo died, so I gave it a 9.
