Okay, finally getting into the flow of this series and it is quite good. What I would suggest to those interested in watching.... You cannot watch this casually (distracted). If you do (especially during the first 2 episodes) it will feel like a jumbled mess. But this is actually an intriguing plot and pace so far.
Wake me up when adults enter the room and SPEAK. Ughhh! This is the worse intelligent-dumb people in a relationship. This ML and FL connection is exhausting.
So far, this series is pretty solid. There are a few places where the writing gets choppy, and the flow becomes confusing. However, all in all the cast does well in conveying the arc of the main plot so far.
I truly don't understand why they feel the need to drag this series out. It could have been completed in 30 episodes. This slow-burn zombie-drag to the end is beyond tiring. Also, why is the FL taking relationship advise from someone who avoids relationships? Such a headache in misdirection that could be avoided.
I haven't seen a kdrama this good in awhile. This is so so good! Everyone is bringing their A game! So happy for Sung Hoon and Jung Yoo Min they both deserve all the praise for a job well done. You know when a storyline, cast and crew are doing well when everyone can't wait for the next episode to drop. Well Done!
Finally, some 'meaty' scenes that make sense (sort of). However, the FL character is exhausting. The back-and-forth of fight, proud, pity party and push away makes me want to drop this. But I have gone this far with this series.
What I wish would stop happening in some of these dramas is the hurting of a love-one's heart for the sake of 'loving them'. That is NOT LOVE and it is very cruel and unnecessary. If they want to paint these people as cowards in the face of challenge, it can be done another way. Let's see how they drag this 'zombie of a storyline' to the end.
Again, we have a slow burn romance series that could have been told in probably a solid 24 episodes. This one is tiring and even the lying SFL isn't interesting enough. Wake me up when the adults that truly communicate enter the room.
are you sure it's only starting to drag? Thought it's draggy right from the start!!! Storyline build on misunderstanding,…
Amen to that!!! Actors like Bai Lu, Ren Jia Lun and Zhang Rua Nan are infamous with very slow-burn romances. However, this drop-drag and pull is a bit much. I think we are all waiting on the episodes coming that promise 'more'. for those of us that have seen some of the upcoming and BTS. They are wasting screen time with Dylan who deserves some of the steaminess we have been seeing in recent miniseries that have come out this year.
This is a rushed cluster of ideas with good looking leads. All in all, it's very choppy and leaves spaces to assume 'why' and 'what's next'. If anyone's seen 'Provoke' - 'Forever Love' - 'Maids Revenge' minis - Those were well done and not as choppy. The 2min per episode is ridiculous, they should have put it all together as a movie short.

I agree. The start was slow, but I expect slow (unfortunately) when Bai Lu is the FL. But it starts to become like a 'teeth pulling' drag to 'get to the point'. That is why we are seeing the ratings slowing going down.
This series is starting to drag due to the ambiguous way these conversations and relationships are progressing or lack thereof. Nothing about the concept of this storyline warrants 36 episodes. With tighter editing and less distracting fillers this could easily closeout in 30 episodes. Anyone who has watched anything with Bai Lu knows that it will be a slow-burn series. However, the drag out fillers of everyone getting the wrong idea out of 'assumptive' situations begins to get tiring.
This drama is pretty good. I feel the ratings are going down because of the 'cheesiness' inserted becomes distracting. The storyline should just flow and connect the dots on how to overcome the villain and find romance in the end. When looking at the original there were funny moments, but they weren't inflated that made it look and sound like a webtoon. Due to certain parts within this series, the flow from scene to scene becomes choppy. When I find myself wanting to fast forward past scenes, that means something is dragging, off or just not landing correctly. However, its cute for a series that wants to be light and fun.
Good cast. good leads. Overworked script. Sometimes less is more and this storyline really needs that. The subplots. Plots... overlayers of characters makes the story tiring when trying to follow all these hanging ends that need to connect. You find yourself just watching characters for reaction because the character development is lacking. 7.5 - 8 max is pretty accurate.
Any drama recommendations similar to this where hero is in love with heroine way before and does everything to…
Strong Woman Do Boon Song is really adorable. Even though she is the strong one, his love for her is palpable and makes the ending even more heartwarming.
This series is soooo good! I am so proud of the leads finally getting a great script to show how truly talented they both are. My goodness I am so happy for Sung Hoon. I have wondered for so long why he wasn't getting good scripts when he has great potential. This is showing all his creative depth, and I am loving it. The cast all around is solid. OST truly drives the theme home. Now the twists upon twist are coming in strong and the waiting another week for more episodes is torture. Very well done so far.
This is a cute series. I need Shan Shan to communicate more with Guan Ji instead of assuming he is with someone. He is the one texting and trying to find ways to be with her. She needs to get clarity instead of being cold and running away. Also, Shu Yi needs to have a 'good conversation' with Shi Yan about her breakup and how things have honestly evolved with him. I believe they both have strong enough interest to withstand that. Neither of the leads have bad intentions towards the other... so a real conversation would really cut out the clutter. The niece just needs to fess up and it would clear up a lot.
This is missing the mark for me. Will wait for more to load. I have seen and enjoyed both leads in other things. However, this script is not flowing. It's off and choppy. I will wait for more to load.
I agree he has not had good scripts as a lead. I enjoyed him most in Five enough opposite Shin Hye-sun . I also…
Yes. They have his brother looking all custom tailored and he looks like he just grabbed something off the rack. But that body and charisma of his is undeniable.
