Okay.... Finally finished. All in All PSA for Vets with little romance, extra episodes, and dragged-out drama points. I'm tired. It's a 6.5 /7 at best for me.
Okay. All in all this drama is a PSA for: 'What Veterinarian's do as well as go through' This drama really has little to do with romance and that is why the romance 'reveal' is near the very end of the series with a sub-par momentum towards the end. The episode count is extremely too long. This should have been done in 24 episodes and it would have been cleaner with a more vested romance throughout. Some episodes you could tell were fillers when others were full of depth. Overall, the series starts to drag and you find yourself wanting to follow a character or two just to get to the end.
Choppy after episode 6. Last episodes took away some of the charm that the ML and FL had in the beginning. They originally had a mutual respect that could build to affection. Seems like close to the end of episode 8 the story tried to bring that connection back, but it all felt rushed in the end.
Not 100% sure, but I think it is. It ruined the drama for me. The one time they show a realistic relationship…
It is not a rape! I think the scriptwriter's wanted assumption for outsiders to figure just in case it leaked to the ML's dad that he was drunk and violent towards FL, but by the way they act towards each other the next day you can tell that nothing abusive happened. I believe that both are putting on a show knowing that it is so close to the end of her accomplishing what she wants. He is frustrated as well about his initial connection to it all, but they both agree that they love each other as stated in ep. 22 Also, you can see that Mr. Zhu was going to try and poison her with the soup. Thankfully she thought quick and didn't have any.

It kind of hints that they (ML & FL) don't want the father to assume that they are working together, but that the ML has been fooled by her charms.

This series is cute but dragging for me. It truly shows how they have added extra scenes and situations to make the 40-episode mark. This could have been a tight 24 or comfortable 30-episode series. Now it just seems like a roller-coaster of 'what can we do next' in business and with pets' series... Little to no romance. So, I'll probably wait for the full load to complete.
FYS mom know she can play victim. Girl, get a life and stop manipulating others' lives especially your son. As exhausting as this drama is, I hate that the grandfather had to die for people to wake up. SMH. This drama is solid but could have been expressed in about 30 episodes max.
Not a fan of melodramas. (I don't care for emotional torture that in most cases can be avoidable) However, I am a fan of Kim Soo Hyun and I know he is very selective when picking scripts. So, I will plan to watch this one.
Family curses and definitely moving from childhood connections to past life connections
Yeah. I guess this is the trope for the season. Even though, I must admit I enjoy storylines where the main couple are completely new to each other without anything, or anyone connected from the past.
So, are we in the season of family curses in Korea? This story has a cute start. I have seen Park Gyu Young in other series. I wonder why they have her with a similar hair color, look and feel as the FL in Destined with You. Is this hair color and style a new trend. I notice the FL for Xu Kai's coming series ' As Beautiful as You' the FL has the same look and feel.
Okay..... I'm Tired... Some maturity needs to enter this drama. This melodrama drag-out is starting to become insulting. I'll wait till the full load. Taking a break from this one.
