You are probably right. When he wakes up from the nightmare it looks like they are dark brown. He wouldn't have been wearing them to sleep in so must be part of the AE image

I was thinking his real eyes are as AE and he wears contacts as Enaga to turn them dark brown

Anyone have an idea of the subtitles? When Chiaki rejected the kiss last week AE says "So is that a no?" This episode it's "Is something wrong with me?" and Chiaki outside the nightclub says "Of course not, how could there be anything wrong with you?" So episode 7 seems a more accurate translation to me. Manga is "You don't want me?"
