Meh, this was ok, easy to skim through it. Haven't watched this pairing in anything else. Winny seems to have the same expression on his face whatever emotion he's portraying. Lack of explanation at the end on what happens now, does the prince get an income to live on or does he have to work? Are they going to live on the island or will he go back to stay with Lava? Why was the baby still so small or was it a second child they adopted? Liked the second couple but Mond looked more and more bored and half asleep by the end.
Ok so having re watched episode 8 I think I understand the kiss a bit more. 1. It's Chiaki's first kiss so AE is being tender and gentle. 2. In the manga Chiaki has to basically proposition AE for sex after weeks of just hugging in bed etc. They have their first tongue kiss during sex. Reason being AE doesn't want to rush or pressure Chiaki. 2. Both actors are wearing fake piercings which could get knocked off/unglued or whatever with a passionate kiss ๐. They kiss very carefully !
Hmm, really loved this series but feel unexpectedly deflated by the last episode. It would have been nice to get some inner thoughts from AE during their break and maybe more from their ongoing relationship. Noticed hairdressing girl's face when Enaga's absence was mentioned outside the venue and the teacher also clearly knew who he was saying don't worry about Enaga. Liked how Chiaki was about to initially tear the poster down but couldn't. In the manga the gap is 2 months I think between the competition and AE wearing the design, not clear how long it is in the series. Some hint of that would have been good with more detail on how it was affecting both of them. The outfit didn't look very comfortable, was AE just going to go off on their date in it? If it were me I'd have gone back and got changed first! I think the subtitles were a bit off in some places also like after the competition when Enaga tries to talk to him.
There's a bit after the main story with their "first time" (AE been holding back not wanting to pressure Chiaki). The second manga has come out in Japan also hasn't it? I think that one is about Chiaki getting jealous about a girl in their fashion class. Maybe they'll adapt that too
Oh wow, I was glued to the first episode. Not usually a fan of Offgun fluffy stuff but this is in a way different class. Great production so far, love the soundtrack too. Dew is on fire.
Even that hairdressing girl seemed to recognise him without the hat!
Yeah she touches his hair, realises it's a wig, looks up and sees his face in the mirror and gasps. So assume recognises him by properly looking at his face without the hat
Very cute. I thought the reaction to one mouthful of alcohol was a bit over the top though! Don't know why but Hioki's expressions keeps reminding me of Saint!
Does dude work or just hang moodily around the house in a shirt and tie all day? Thought other guy wasn't allowed to leave the house but apparently does under surveillance? Weird
