Everyone in this show has a God damn problem and I love it
Good god this was messed up but in a completely good way. The love interest was a devious little bastard man playing with the main character and I just couldn't get enough of it. It's obviously not meant to be healthy or seen as healthy. I think they could've done a little better conveying that but for this short of a series I think they did a pretty good job.Was this review helpful to you?

Horror movie in Erotica Clothing
Anyone walking in might be surprised to find that that this is more than just a gay erotic movie. This is so much more than that. This is a genuinely good horror movie disguised as an Erotic film and I think that fact will turn many people away. Which I think is a massive shame. It's a psychosexual thriller with solid acting, and an interesting storyline that I think is explored well. Even during the short runtime I was constantly glued to the screen, figuring out what's happening. Yes there are sex scenes but they're visceral and violent, obviously not meant to be gratifying but to add to the horrors the main characters are going through.
I recommend this for anyone willing to look past it's label of Pinku Film and see it for what it really is. A competent horror movie.

Feelings and how to express them, the Show
let's get something out of the way first before I review it: yes I'm biased because I love EarthMix as a pairing. no, I don't care. That's my emotional support pairing, leave me alone.okay, this show is much more than just a romantic comedy. it's about feelings and how to properly express them. every conflict could be solved through communication. then why don't they communicate? cause they have to learn how to do it! they have to grow and develop over the course of this show and I think they do a great job showing that growth. showing Mo becoming more pro-active in pursuing Heng, showing Heng learning to be open and more mature etc.
and yes at first I did think the amnesia arc would basically make all that development null and void, but I think it added more. I think that was the final push Heng needed to truly realise what he wanted, and Kongdech getting over his crush at the end is played realistically and heartwarmingly. Everyone was in top form and the comedic timing was something to behold. Everything played perfectly into each scenario and the show never shied away from going into the absurd which I'm happy for. Ossan's love Thai is a feel good show about how to be open about your emotions and the consequences of not communicating openly with the ones you care about, wrapped up in a lovely happy ending. I'm sad to see it go.
Also Heng is so ADHD coded. I'm surprised no one else seems to have pointed it out.

TENS BABY TENS!!!
I'm so glad this show was rescued. oh my godddd I love it so much. it was emotional, funny, adorable, heartbreaking, painful. it was so realistic and man I'm just over like. I could've lived in a world where this was never completed. that would've sucked so bad. I'm glad I live in the universe where this was put on GagaOolala, they're the MVP for real. sorry of review disjointed I'm high as fuck rn so sorry about that. anyway. amazing series, I love it and I will protect it with my life if must be.Was this review helpful to you?

Comfort in a Show
I went in thinking I was gonna be bored. I was never a slice of life guy but my god. The writing in this was SOOO human and down to earth? It felt so genuine and gentle. Every episode was like a soft warm blanket around me, a plot that held you tightly and comforted you even through tears. An episode was an hour but I didn't even notice and usually I hate hour long episodes! Absolutely recommend. Was this review helpful to you?

SHORT AND SWEET
this series was short and sweet. initially I thought 'would it benefit from more episodes?' then I realized, no! it's actually the perfect length. it got to everything it needed to get and explored the subjects. it was obviously planned out to end in eight episodes and I can appreciate a quick one, ya feel? it was very cozy with moments of drama that were realistically resolved. I enjoyed it overall. Now some might think the pacing is slow or boring, but listen, it's a slow burn show. it needs to cook, alright? let it cook then eat the meal, you'll enjoy it!

So sweet I might vomit (affectionate)(positive)
this show was sweet. like incredibly sweet. no big stakes, no toxicity, just a wholesome group of gay little losers getting together into couples and I recommend it to anyone who wants warmth and comfort. I feel kinda sad that I finished it, because I really felt part of the friend group. I do wish it had more of a plot and not vague concepts thrown together. all in all, it was wholesome slice of life stuff and I still ate it up. I now need something angsty and toxic or else I'll get some kinda sugar rush lol.Was this review helpful to you?

Good movie, could've been great!
I think this movie was pretty good but didn't live up to its potential. I don't blame it, it's pretty difficult for a Pinku movie to break out of that genre. It should've been longer so it could explore the themes a bit more. But for what it is and the limitations they had it was pretty good! Not perfect but not bad either. I will say it was incredibly atmospheric. Was this review helpful to you?

This is a great show, what is it with you people??
Maybe I went in with my expectations too low because I saw the reviews and ratings. But I absolutely loved this and I don't understand why so many seemed to have an issue with this show. It was dark, it was funny, it was ridiculous and it was absolutely entertaining. The acting was amazing. Especially Charn. I loved that sleazy little bastard man with that slimy nasty grin that hides so much pain and suffering. He was unlikeable in a fun way that makes you go 'oh you magnificent bastard' and had fantastic chemistry with Tin and honestly every character. The side couple was also wonderful and had such a heartbreaking yet beautiful story. Ignore the haters and nay sayers, this is an underrated little treasure and deserves a much higher rating. Was it perfect? No. Did I have an amazing time watching this? Hell yes!!

Well it was what it was and I don't regret watching it
I don't even remember why this was in my plan to watch list but hey here I am. Now I don't think this is gonna win any awards. Didn't really break new ground either. It was its very own thing and just did what it had to do to drive the story. It felt a little cluttered at times but still somehow squished in all these storylines into six episodes. it was wholesome and healthy, a bit ridiculous but in a good way. It was a show about the life of teenagers going through teenage stuff and dealing with difficult feelings and it doesn't pretend to be anything different or grander. Was it fantastic? Nah. Was it an enjoyable sweet watch? Yeah I'd say so. I wasn't bored at any point and always wanted to keep going to see what happens next.
Recommended for if you need some down time or just something to put on and relax.

Expected Just a little more
It was run of the mill stuff I suppose. I was hoping for a more intense dynamic and such but it turned into an attempted wholesome romance which is a bit hard to do with an inherently toxic premise. I genuinely think if they had gotten more into the toxic relationship and how messed up this situation is, it would've worked much better. What I'm saying is this wasn't messed up enough and that's a problem. There shouldn't be a wholesome romantic thing going on, this relationship isn't designed for that.It should've leaned into thriller/psychological territory more. The acting was solid however and the spicy scenes hit good. I'll give them that.

Didn't expect to like this
I don't know how but I absolutely loved this?? I genuinely have no idea. By all accounts I should've found this boring as hell and should have been wishing for more, but it was sweet, fun, heartbreaking, the main characters had such good chemistry and they somehow managed to cram a story like that into short six episodes? I didn't leave feeling like there should be more, it was compact and the perfect length. I was completely satisfied with this experience! Was it ten/ten? No, but was it a very good experience? Absolutely!

I can't come up with a good title so this will do
Wow where do I even begin. I mean if you're looking for a sweet romance you're at the wrong address here. This isn't your typical BL to squee about handsome guys smooching where they get together in the end. This is an intense story about heartache and loss, about growing up, the folly of youth and motherhood, coming to terms with who you are as a person and trying to change someone who doesn't want to be changed. It's tender yet harsh, funny yet sad. There is a bittersweet aftertaste to it all and it leaves you thinking about yourself, your relationship with others and in general your place in the world. It took me ages to finish this series because you gotta be in the right frame of mind to watch it. You don't just go in all willy nilly. With the slow burn and quiet pacing this show is certainly one hell of a commitment, but a good one. Also the cinematography is absolutely gorgeous and I could just look at shots from the show and be happy. I recommend it but only if you're prepared to take this journey. Was this review helpful to you?

Y'all don't know her (this show) like I do
Listen I don't know what happened here. Maybe I watched a different show. Maybe I hallucinated a much better show than y'all watched. I LOVED this show so much like I was hooked. I had to force myself not to binge watch it. I loved the intense story, and the chemistry between the couple was top notch. Some people here called it a bromance, are y'all good? Like mentally? 'waaah the kissing looked off' almost like they're playing awkward teenagers grappling with their complex emotions or something and as their relationship develops so do the kisses. You know like a real relationship. This show gets overhated and I think it deserves a fair chance. Don't listen to the the haters or the rating they left, go in with an open mind and give it a fair chance anyway. Maybe you won't like what you see or maybe you'll find your next binge watch.TL;DR Dangerous Romance is fantastic you are all just mean.

Cozy and warm like chicken noodle soup
This show is like chicken noodle soup. It may look basic and uninteresting but if you sit down and take in those first moments you'll see that there's so much love poured into this that make each second of it unique. It's warm and comforting, charming in its simplicity. Yes there aren't any big stakes, big action scenes or a big story and no gimmick or concept. It doesn't need all that, the same way a chicken noodle soup doesn't need any fancy ingredients to be good. This is a show about the people in it and their lives. It's entertaining, it's filling and it leaves you satisfied. Was this review helpful to you?
