Actually, I found Fluke to be good in his minor appearances in ep 2. I was disappointed when I watched the trailer…
I have only watched the ep 1 now. I find this pretty standard, viewed from Thai BL vantage point. I mean, I did not want to say: do not watch. FlukeOHm fans will watch this anyway. It is okay, watching ep 1 I was not bored.
Looks a bit back to the roots, though: 100% straight realizes he is not craving fruity melons anymore but hot, juice sausage... Reminds me of the early days of Yaoi.
i really used to think that Fluke was good... like... his performance in UWMA *was* good but he keeps playing…
I had the same thought. But Fluke should know better. I mean, he is not a beginner in BL. Please note: I said, I do not see that he makes progress in acting. I did not say, he is BAD at acting. He is still cute and I can watch him, but there are not many emotions he conveys. Mostly standing and smling or crying.
And yes, Fluke seems to choose weird movies. I mean, what was that Red Wine thing?
And my 2nd unpopular opinion: I am not really convinced about his ship with Ohm. I already did not see any chemistry in UWMA. And this Oh my Sunshine...well, that was really a disaster.
I have watched now ep 1. It looks like they both have again a series with some mysterious secret; dreaming or prescience stuff.
[Chimp and Flake, heavily doing it in the bed. Phone rings, Chimp takes it...] "Hey, Mom. What's on?" "Hi, Son. Oh, are you banging your bf there? Greet Flake. By the way, I am sorry, but your Dad has just passed away, after a long painful time in the hospital. We have not told you about, so you won't be troubles. Uhm, ah, mhm....Well, don't worry, you can attend the funeral after cumming. I will take care of it. Have a fun time, son. Bye!"
Watched the first 10 minutes and then decided to put this on hold. Everything looked too much like "BL series for Dummies". Standard characters, standard settings, standard plots. Thai BL has the problem that they have just one type of character: the super-successful, hyper-handsome, hyper-rich guy, probably once the Moon of his faculty, likes to play, likes to drink. Eats about 25 times a day, prefarbly porridge, if not then BBQ or hotpot. And don't tell me that Mum sstudied Engineering...
I am also not really a fan any more of FLuke. I liked him in the past, but - honestly - his acting did not make any progresses. I haven't seen him here, so I might give the first episode a chance. But to sum it up again: this series looks pretty standard to me.
As many others I am posiively surprised. My expectations were extremely low, after the disasters I watched this year. This first episode was really absolutely entertaining, the music is gorgeous and so far the acting is right. The story is nothing that rocks, but if all other things are so well, this can be one of the best series of the year. Okay, it was just the first episode, so let's see.
where I watched he say "childhood friend" like a neighborhood or something if you are talking about the 10 ep
To be honest, I had not seen the episode when I replied to you. My answer was therefore "general". The translations are often get confused. In Something in my room, the main is telling his mother "I have a boyfriend"..."My boyfriend is a boy"... Hmh...Yeh...We got that. In reality, he uses in Thai the word "faen" which can mean both, gf and bf. So it should be "I have a lover....my lover is a boy".
Generally, the translations have become really worse in the past 2 years. Most are done by fans for free. I am grateful they do that, but sometimes I wonder if there are out of 2 billion English speakers not some who would proofread for free...
where I watched he say "childhood friend" like a neighborhood or something if you are talking about the 10 ep
The YT translation was horrible today. Remember that "Brother" and "Sister" does not necessarily mean "blood related". Even in the West, a lot of people use it, something like "Bro".
The characters are here but played by different actors and it seems their story will not be much developed here.
To be honest, I do not even understand that connection here. Tonhon Chonlatee... the mains had not seen each other for a long time, but then they met as students again. But here, they still behave like they do not know each other (that's the feeling I have, maybe because they have not much screen time). I wonder how this is temporally related. Cannot be much time before the ThCh series.
The English title is "Remember me". Reading or hearing this, I have a not so good fealing. One usually uses this when a disaster is apparent, someone dying or a big loss...
The story is okay. Yeah, nice. But sorry, I find these "I don't know you like me" topic totally weird. I mean, which dentist is lying with a patient in a bed, huggind and cuddling. And then, Bai Lang does not see that Xunan likes him??? This is a trope I always do not get...
Totally crazy. Now I’m wondering what his brother did to end up in jail and rather or not he took the fall for…
I agree, he is crazy. Which is weird, because he studies medicine. In my country you need a psychological test to do that to proof that your personality is stable. We don't want crazy doctors around haha.
They mentioned before that Golf's brother did anti-government activism. In Thailand, that's quite hard. Activists often end up for years in jail. And it is easy to get accused.
Why is 7.4 a bad rating? That is far above average.
Ah, ok. But I would not go after the comments, nor the ratings. Fans of actors will rate a series with 10/10 even before it started airing. Others will rate lowly, because the main couple did not kiss, or the kiss was in a wrong angle, or whatever. I think, the real rating will even out after the final episode.
Then, the forum often discusses logic holes, errors, bad acting and writing, though the series might be overall good. It is a blurred view, I agree.
I also only realised it is a flashback when the episode was near the end. There was no hint of being a flashback,…
Right, I checked with the subtitles now and they say it. I was not reading them before and also did not get the Thai subtitles.
Not sure if this backstory is needed. What does it contribute? Only drama. So Ai and Nhai found each other and now the evil mother comes, appearing as a homophobic ass?
If we go back, she acts like that because she thinks JaoNan stole her husband. So, who is right, who is wrong? Who caused all the mess? Relationships break, yup. Is it okay to become homophobic then? And is it okay to choose this as plot for the next episodes? Well, they did, II cannot say anything against that. The whole episode looked like a filler and the start of an anti-gay plot now. Yeah, I am sure it will end nicely in the final, as usual. But the evil, homophobic ex-wife, that is really unnecessary.
Besides the sci fi nonsense this is quite good, actually better than most BLs airing right now it’s like BL…
Yes, despite having written some critical comments, I also like this series. Otherwise I would not watch it.
Critical comments are necessary. Critique means progress. I understand that some people take this personally and are upset. Only because I point out some logic holes or errors I do not mean this as recommendation to watch or not to watch. In this case, I clearly say: Watch it and build your own opinion. Some will love it, some will hate it. That's life.
I was halfway through the episode before I realized it was a flashback. What in the HELL was that?!?!?!?!? I know…
I also only realised it is a flashback when the episode was near the end. There was no hint of being a flashback, though. Adds to the weirdness of this episode.

Definitely something for Friday evenings...
