I think they are lost. You are right, I watch now several series and the same scenes over and over again. I think they just do the filming now for marketing purposes, to fill as much time to present products and do ads. And the rest of the time is filled with non-content.

I am especially pi##ed, because this isn't the only series with endless repetitive stuff: Fahlanruk and Remember Me... Same scenes, same plots all over again.

Was it not subbed in your version? Because there were subs saying "He promised" when Name did that.

Every week the same issues. Fight - reconciliation - flight. I feel like in "Reset", over and over again. This is episode 9 already and there is no development. The preview for next week? Well, fight again...

Currently 6.4, that is still above average. The rate reflects the mixed views on this series.

I can only speak of my opinion:
1. The story does not rock me. In fact, I do not even understand what the story is. Two guys competing, who do not want to compete.
2. I have seen so many enemy-to-friend stories that I am just bored of this, especially in a university environment.
3. The superficiality. Endlos dialogues and/or monologues of who is handsome, the most handsome, who is not handsome, more handsome, less handsome... I mean, let alone rethink the fact that the MOST handsome of a faculty should represent it. I come from a country in which the best of a faculty (in terms of studying) would represent a uni/faculty. If s/he is photographic, that would be a bonus.

But also in terms of filming/acting...It is sometimes slow, sometimes too wooden, not to mention of the director's choice of cutting, lighting...

I totally feel you. I developed lately a love-hate of Thai BL. It is not only the recurring scenes, but the stories/plots in general. I am 46yo, you are 55. I think we often forget that most of these series do not only depict teens and twens, but are also written by them. Not sure how old most of the writers/ screen writers are. My Vietnamese friends writing VN BL series are mostly around 20-25ish. They might all have a big imagination, but not much life experience. And since they are often same-age, they live in the same generation with the same issues, which then impact what we see on screen.

Oh, come on. Every BL is just a puzzle of mixed tropes. And the let's wipe him-trope is actually fun. It gives sometimes a free view on something nice, since they often have to take off the shirt. Okay, that failed here, twice. Not only the "he has fever" wiping, but also the "oh, I have a drop of sweat" wiping.

But, talking about silly tropes: The "we are strangers but must sleep in one bed" trope is hurting me even more. They actually managed doing it here better than in other series, where those super-rich kids pay for an apartment, which even would impress the Thai king, but do not have two beds...

I am only watching this, because it is over next week and I think there cannot be more harm done here. I am optimist, though.

We live in the 21st century. Why not a triple relationship. Not weirder than other stuff I have seen in BL...

I'll give this series 30/10 for having Pluem jumping around without t-shirt. I don't care the rest...

Reminds me of those historic movies, with maskerades in France or Italy. I am always like wtf, you clearly can see who this is. I assume people pretend not to know...

I had to look up the word. I never heard it used in this way, so I thought it must be some kind of slang.

I think I'll leave this for later, when it's finished and binge then all 32 episodes directly. Is probably less than half an hour. So far, the episodes did not really follow. I think ep 1 and 2 were neatly connected, the rest looked quite independent from the previous ones. The filming is annoying. It might be okay to have this format in TikTok and Co. but Youtube does not really help for non-landscape movies.

Right. I was also thinking where I have seen him before. He looks familiar, but on his list is only one drama and it is this one. But I am 100% sure I have seen him before. I would definitly remember if I had seen him on the street in Bangkok, so it can only be on the screen.

Just to mention, because it might not be obvious: Half of the actors in this series are already near-30 or even over 30 (the actor of Yu is 28, the one of Zo is 31...). I find that amazing. I actually like series with mature actors, though they still look so young that they play university students, haha.

I wonder if those who translated the subtitles did eventually at least check their outcome once?

The only flaw in this series were Guang's parents. Their change came to sudden. I mean, from "Kneel!" to "Have we done something wrong"...That was too fast and was more like, sh##t, we do not have more time to develop this change. They should have started with that 1-2 episodes before. But this is just a minor flaw.
