so many people ask why haebom and taesung awkward to each other, if you wanna know please look forward for next…
It comes a bit weird in the series. I mean, they are living for approximately 12 years together, so this nagged a bit at me. Thanks for pointing out. I loved the episode.
Any info about the March 2022 thing? Is it a special episode, a movie or second season? I saw some posters, they apparently visit Kyoto but I am not sure what it is about.
The start was a bit slow. Frankly, I stopped watching this movie after around 30min, but started again the following days. I do not regret watching it. In fact, it would be a loss. The movie gained speed and depth later on. I would not say, it's a masterpiece, but quite enjoyable.
In the beginning, at the party, they play "Truth or dare" and Rak asks U (?) if he has a boyfriend. I think, I heard only "faen". But faen can mean both, boy and girlfriend. Any Thai here who could enlighten me about this, why this should be "boyfriend"? I cannot see any hint why he should not translated it as "girlfriend". It would change the context. Boyfriend would mean, that Rak knows that U is gay or at least interested in boys, while gf the opposite. Some seconds later, U asks Chin if he is gay or not and adds it would not matter here, but Chin hesitates and then answers he likes girls (obviously a lie, haha). Given that Chin is too shy to come out, I wonder if faen would not better be translated as girlfriend, or even better as a neutral "lover/Partner".
Literally the first half of this series was ok, but after that? Not so much. I still cringe about THE "misunderstanding"…
Yes, that misunderstanding. I guess the screenwriter messed that up. Maze told Phap in ep 2 or 3 that they are brothers. That is why I was so cofused during the second half.
It is on Gmmtv’s official youtube channel. But maybe it is geoblocked in your country (Philippines, Japan, Thailand).…
Just checked YT. I am in Viet Nam and the series is there. If Maggi64 cannot see it, it is definitely blocked for her region. Use a VPN then! I avoid pages like dramacool, my antivirus programe goes mad on that page. Not to mention that it would be best to get more clicks on their official YT channel.
Ok. That was it. The series is okay, watchable. Nothing really rocking me. The first half, actually, was better, but that is something which occurs often in Thai BL: good start, weak ending. The last episode was clear and nothing surprising.
I just have a bit of a problem with Singto. I could not relate to his role as tough, serious and perfectionist business man. Nothing wrong with his acting, but just not his role. I think, Singto is best in emotional roles, while a perfectionist would be quite rationale. And in many scenes, I could also not see chemistry between both leads, though in the last episode it got better - Singto also came back to his acting, probably because he could show emotions.
Somehow...is Singto into slightly older? I mean, in Sotus, the guy was 4 years older than him; in Baker Boys he had also an older bf and Phap clearly is more mature than him, haha. Maybe I have still a chance :D Would love to show up at my school reuinion with him as a bf in the future....
Overall: Watchable, esp. if you are a Singto fan. I cannot guarantee, however, that you like it. I still see some plot holes, and the usual "misunderstandings" in this series. Some might be bored of it, though.
I do not like Calix' character. He is just false. He was there with the girl, when she took Luke's wallet. So, pretending that he does not know anything is just lying.
When I was 13 I had a pedo stalking me, so I am currently not sure if I should just take this series with humor…
The guy would stalk me for more than 4 years. Appear in my school, at the bus stop, sneak around the house. Only thing: He never touched me or did harm. But it did affect me, I broke with friends, would fight with my parents (about chores outside, for instance), tried to avoid being alone when outside etc.It is past. I was lucky nothing happened. My parents found out and my father, well...he took care of it. Never saw that guy again.
Anyhow, I watched this series now to the end. I will watch it. It is actually not really stalking. I would call it more, obsessed with him. And it is obvious that we should not take all too serious here.
To be honest, I still do not really understand what this was about.
