I am so sad about Charunee. It was obvious, though. In the first episode she made suicide. I admit I forgot about it, because she lived to her fullest now. She must have been aware that she might go back to her death, at least to a life with cancer, that's why all the preparations in the previous episode. Anyhow, her story is the saddest of all.
I could not foresee San too. As most of us, I thought he will be back and get Prim. Well, let's see tonight.
Still, I am a bit furious, this series cannot make the jump above 8.0? I see crappy series with 8.x and this series is one of the best I have watched in the past 3-4 years. It's not perfect, but, come on, this is better than the 7.9 it has got at the moment....
Bad Buddy is one of the series, which did not disappoint me, not even a tiny bit. I will really miss it and hope for another season. The chemistry of Nanon and Ohm is amazing. Although not being perfect (nothing is perfect), the flaws in it are so small that I won't even start to discuss them. This series really bound me every Friday.
I admit, I am currently a bit X-treme Thai-BL binge-watching. Don't get me wrong: I don't want to say that this is bad. On the contrary, but it just did not knock me off my feet. Shirtless scenes would be a pro, though. I am still gonna watch it next week.
Not really impressed, sorry. Yeah, the boys are cute. But, again a ghost story? Okay, after a billion engineer plots this is probably still something new, but I had to fight through the first episode. The flow was too slow. And then again, those stereotypical actions. It is too early to dismiss this, it's just the first episode, but I hope it gets a bit better. The filmography and acting was okay, it's just the story seems uninspired. Or maybe I have watched too many Thai series lately. The series looks okay, in fact, but this just did not rock me.
So, episode 7, no development. 2 episodes to go? Is this one of those plots where the characters hate each other until 10 seconds before the end and then just decide being good and become happy bf? Okay, it is a masculinity thing in the Philippines, I guess. But there is nothing attracting me here. Why would I "ship" them. They behave unmature and illogical, so my interest in seeing them getting closer is 0. If they hate each other, okay. Just take someone else from the boy pool. I mean, there are quite some handsome guys hanging up there. No need to torture us with that 0-content plot.
I am afraid that this will crash in terms of scores. Too many watch this in the hope of BL. It has some gay or…
It means that I felt refreshed to watch something which somehow had content and made even a bit of sense to me. The "plot" in BL is mostly totally irrational, if even existant. I totally understand that it is due to being BL. There is no need to be logical, because the concept is illogical by itself. Like SciFi or Fantasy.
I wonder if this show is not getting as much recognition due to it being showed on disney+ hotstar? but it’s…
I have commented it once before and will do again: My opinion is that it is mostly ignored because it is not a BL story. I guess there are not - globally seen - many people into Thai series. Most Western viewers tend to be fans of BL. For instance, while World of BL gives data to The Player - also not a BL series - it totally ignores 55:15. I usually watch BL and I stumbled accidentally over this series now.
Also in the latest episode 11, i was kinda dissatisfied with San saying the word ‘faggo*’, like, it’s 2022…
What's the relation to the scriptwriters? Is it the Thai word you criticise or the translation? I am a translator, these dramas are in 99% not translated by professionals, but fans. If you want to blame someone, then blame the translator.
Looks quite nice. Refreshing that it is in the Sports faculty, though I really would love to see some more mature dramas, wouldn't even mind to have some mid-thirties playing. At least it's not school children. The plot seems simple and the hints for upcoming problems and quarrels are already laid. The filming seems to be high quality and so far the subtitles even made total sense. This might not be a masterpiece, but I am sure it is enjoyable.
This is the Joseon dynasty. This could be anywhere from 1392-1897 [not likely to be in the 19th century given…
Thank you. It is not that important, but I only wondered. Apparently, the focus is more on the relationships of the characters. No one has addressed it so far in the series, just that Eun-ho comes from far away.
Anyone here, who can enlighten me, when this is playing? I mean the time. It says "feudal past", which does not say anything to me. No need for an exact date, just is it 200 years, 500...1000y back?
I could not foresee San too. As most of us, I thought he will be back and get Prim. Well, let's see tonight.
