This is the Joseon dynasty. This could be anywhere from 1392-1897 [not likely to be in the 19th century given…
Thank you. It is not that important, but I only wondered. Apparently, the focus is more on the relationships of the characters. No one has addressed it so far in the series, just that Eun-ho comes from far away.
Anyone here, who can enlighten me, when this is playing? I mean the time. It says "feudal past", which does not say anything to me. No need for an exact date, just is it 200 years, 500...1000y back?
I am afraid that this will crash in terms of scores. Too many watch this in the hope of BL. It has some gay or…
Yes, I agree with you. But Baker Boys was never really a BL drama as such. And most people were thinking that it is because of Singto. But 55:15 is definitely not a BL because there are 5 stories running aside of which Songpol's is just one. I am sure we will get to see more of him and Piphu and maybe others, but what I meant above is: We should not just reduce it to a BL story. Because it isn't. And it would be unfair to judge it just about that. As I have said: For me this is one of the best dramas of the (past) and recent year.

I totally agree. I didn't want to compare those series. It is just the fact that the scores of Baker Boys fell when people realised there won't be a couple, nor a kiss. Hope I won't spoil now.
I haven't watched. Neither the Korean, nor the Japanese version. Was there a similar plot, and was it BL or not?…
Ah, ok. So the child murder story was also there? And no BL? I wonder why people then complain so much about these if it already was in the Korean (and maybe even already in Japanese) version. I will watch the Korean one first and later the Japanese to get my own opinion of those series as well. Thank you :)
Watchable but not that good.... korean version was better than this.... in my opinion.
I haven't watched. Neither the Korean, nor the Japanese version. Was there a similar plot, and was it BL or not? At the moment, I am watching too many series already, but if I'll put the Korean and Japanese versions on my future to-watch list.
This drama is such a gem... hope the score will fix itself. This series is better than most of thai drama I saw
I am afraid that this will crash in terms of scores. Too many watch this in the hope of BL. It has some gay or bi characters and I am sure we see a bit more of Paul and Piphu and Mathee, but it's not the focus of this series. But it is not BL, and they will be disappointed. Same like Baker Boys did last week. As for me, and being repetitive: This is probably one of the most entertaining dramas I have watched in the past 12 months (tried to avoid to say, of the year). F4 and The Player the same. I am always really surprised that non-BL have plots, and in some cases, even plots which make somehow sense. But as someone commented in another thread: "We ain't watching BL because of plots"...
OMG I really love the story of Jarunee. I really ship her with Bomb. I like their chemistry and they are really…
Her story made me quite sad, actually. I was living quite similar to her and sometimes I am asking myself if I were happier if I were "more bad" in the past, eg I have never been to a disco in my life. Never too late, though. Maybe I will go in the future, one day.
I find it weird that Prim doesn’t question or remember San?
She said, San reminds her of her friend San. I have raised this question also with Songpol and his brother. And what about Jaya, the celebrity? Or the boxer who once must have been popular. I explain it with the long time now. It is 40 years ago. And the "believability". If someone you knew a long time ago would stand in front of you, would you also think, it is that person? People tend to go after the easiest solution and in this case it would be that someone just looks similar but cannot be the same.
I found myself enjoying this show quite a bit and wasn’t expecting it to be honest. I feel it’s well produced…
I had a similar problem with Songpol. His younger brother should recognise him. I mean, he must have seen him when he was 15. I understand, it is "unbelievable", but at least, he should be familiar?

I see a lot of people being naive. "It is just chatting". Haha.
