Just finished watching the preview for episode 15 and I think we’ll get more screentime for Gao Tu and Wenlang this Saturday. Probably 10 to 15 minutes. But I’ve just realised pacing in this show kinda sucks. Wenlang will probably find out Gao Tu is pregnant in the last 5 minutes of the episode.
On the finale (16), they’ll have kids, 3 year time jump and 2nd couple’s reunion. I feel the time was wasted on silly things. We will probably get 5 minutes only with the kids in the finale.
I’m on episode 6 but I’ve always felt the male lead knows from the start that she is lying.
He gives me that kind of vibes, like he is always steps ahead lol. Maybe I’m overthinking it.
I’m actually watching this show cos both leads are some of my favourite Chinese actors (William & Lusi). They simply look stunning together. But as for characters, I’m struggling to root for her because it appears as if she overly ambitious. I guess her parents abandoned her at some points but they were poor. I’d probably understand if they rich.
I don’t hate the FL character though and as for ML he appears to more mysterious and he is probably cunning or calculative.
Just my first impression after the first 6 episodes.

Also, there’s a leaked BTS video of Shen Wenlang hugging Gao Tu on their reunion. If I were to take a guess, I’d say next week on episode 15, they will probably give them 10 minutes right at the end of the episode. They will show us Gao Tu having conversation with his sister advising him to take of himself and the unborn baby (5 minutes scene) and the other 5 will be spent on Wenlang finding out the photo that was sent to him while ago.
Then, in the finale, episode 16 they’ll show us 3 year time skip and Wenlang will find Gao Tu in the last 7 minutes and hug him. Boom and the show ends 😃🤭
So, my fellow 2nd couple shippers, I’d reduce my expectations if i were you.
I know people are divided on this but imo saying people should stop complaining about the lack of wenlang and…
Girl!! You can say that again, worse we are not allowed to critically evaluate this and let alone complain about the screen time allocation. Apparently, it triggers the fans of the main couple and we should be grateful for 6 minutes.
Not them giving the 2nd couple 6 minutes screen time at the end of the episode and some parts of it, we’ve already seen it during the week on trailer 😩
The way 2nd couple got like 4 minutes screen time in the last episode. Dammm when you need them the most 😩
I was hoping for full episode of them together, happy and raising their child. By the it’s going I wouldn’t be surprised if the main couple gets 38 minutes with their child in the finale and 2nd couple 5 minutes of the last episode to hug and say hi to Lele. Then, the show ends 😤😃😏
