I somewhat agree. We have already 8 episodes out and somehow in those seven-eight hours they managed to give us…
Yawn 🥱 y’all complain about just anything and it sucks out the fun part of watching fictional & fantasy shows.
The beauty and intrigue of this story is not knowing why antagonist hates our protagonist. Once you find out it’s “misunderstanding” for example, you may easily get bored.
Am I the only who’s afraid of Liu Yan? Kudos to the actor who’s playing this character. Honestly, across the board, acting in this show is phenomenal. I need episode 9 & 10, already.
Super excited for tomorrow, I haven’t been this excited about Chinese Fantasy in a while. I often watch CDrama for Martial Arts and not romance, I think this will just do it.
It looks phenomenal!!
There’s another one with Dilraba and Arthur Chen (Love Beyond the grave) absolutely spectacular. What a great way to end the year for us Martial Arts lovers.
I went from thinking Feng Sui Ge’s sister is stupid, to sympathise with her and now, i just genuinely hate her.
Everytime she comes to the screen I think she is just annoying. She literally forced herself to a man who doesn’t love her. He told her countless times that he will never fall in love with her. She betrayed her father and brother to snuggle out the Prince from the enemy country for her gain.
Not Gao Lele getting 22 seconds screen time, not even glance at his father (Wenlang) or him to his son. Some sort of acknowledgment, Arggg! That was just awful 😣
I’m so frustrated, I’m moving on though. Let me go watch Lover Merman episode 3 🧜♂️
They left so much to be desired for me. They couldn’t even give them dialogue at the end. Wenlang did not interact with his son. I guess it’s better than nothing lol, so I’I take it. I truly hope they get another series as lead couple in the future, because this was simply not it, absolute DIABOLICAL! Happy for the main couple though, theirs seemed complete.
Anyways!! Goodbye Gao Tu and Wenlang, we’ll always remember 🥹🤍
A friendly reminder, please be reminded to rate the series tomorrow when it ends. I don’t know if it’s significant but I feel like should they notice, it’ll increase chances for future projects for our couples. Whether they work together or separately.
I must admit I’ve complained twice or 3 times about the screen time of the 2nd couple but not once have I mentioned anything about the main couple or the actors.
Those who follow me on twitter, knows I’ve got major 2nd couple syndrome, some of my all time favourite BL couples are 2nd couple. Including, Revenge Love, I loved Xiao Shuai & Cheng Yu more, Shine - loved Lert & Naran more, the list goes on really.
I hope we all enjoy the finale tomorrow, with kind hearted spirit and celebration of everyone who contributed by making this show possible (Writers, funders, Cast, production staff and others).

It’s definitely his eyes and the music. There’s a scene in episode 8 where he was walking in the marketplace, I shrugged my shoulders 😩

Anyways, overall great show, I did not like some of the decisions characters made (writers), nonetheless, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Now I’m supposed to feel sorry for her? 🙄

Yes, many people on twitter can be quite problematic. I totally agree, let’s enjoy the final episode tomorrow.
Much love.
