Come on now, Gao Tu’s reasons for lying are justified and make much more sense. He had to hide his identity at the early age cos of his father. As for his “friend” crush Wenlang never created a safe space for Gao Tu to open up or share his real identity (Omega).
Wenlang constantly looks down on Omegas. What you saying is equivalent to expecting a closeted gay guy to come out to his homophobic “friend”. No one in their right mind would do that, unless the only thing they wish to gain is to be openly rejected!!

He can do no wrong in my eyes. I’ve seen too much justification for Wenlang’s behaviour in this episode, too much for my liking. I wholeheartedly support and understand where Gao Tu comes from and why, since childhood he had to hide his identity (Omega). Wen Lang has never created a safe space for Gao Tu to share his hidden identity.
Instead, Wenlang is always repulsed by the mere mention of the word Omega. Be strong Mommy Gao Tu, you’ve got this, PERIOD!!
I think people are more interested in seeing his pregnancy journey (as written in extra chapters of the novel)…
I see, but I just don’t think they will show the pregnancy at all. Maybe a passing moment and then, do few months jump when kids are born and another 3 year jump when Wenlang and Gao Tu reunites.
I don’t understand why people are now jumping into conclusions that they will change Gao Tu and Wenlang’s story simply because that lunatic enigma showed him the picture? 😂
I mean, it doesn’t change his motives to resign and leave. From Gao Tu’s perspective, Wenlang is in love with Hua Yong and when he showed him the picture, it may have come across as confrontational or threat of sort. That’s why he felt like he needed to explain himself. I believe he will find out that he’s pregnant 🫃 next episode and that will certainly add to more reasons why he believes he should run and raise his baby far away from Wenlang.
So, for me, this change won’t have much impact to what’s unfolding, let alone change the whole story or plot by not separating them 3 years.

The writing is solid as well, I wish they had bigger budgets and great marketing campaigns. Absolutely incredible!!
