That last episode was crazy good. Even though I already had an inkling about the character's motivations, the way it all came together in the end was really satisfying.

Yeah, in some scenes, the age gap shows. But I think that works for this story as she is considered an old maid in joseon. Kang Hanna being older also makes sense, as she is the concubine controlling the king. Originally, I believe Park Sang Hoon from squid game was supposed to be the male lead which would have been more age appropriate, but he was replaced due to a scandal.

Am I missing something? Why is everyone hating on Han Gyu so much especially in Korea? He played the game as perfectly as possible.

I don't think he was angry at his brother for being gay. He was angry at Do-han for using Ah-jung to hide it and still trying to go through with the marriage even when Ah-jung didn't want to. In the end, he still protected his brother and Ah-jung by taking all the blame.

that last episode was soooo goooood. really tied it up nicely. I want to see the main female lead become mainstream. She is a great actress

from my understanding, the fl is just dumb and I mean the character was written as someone not the smartest in the head. The smart one is supposed to be the ML, whereas the FL is supposed to be the active one who does before she thinks. I believe this plot point will become even more important in the future episodes and give rise to conflicts between the leads

This show is crazy good. The build up is nice towards upcoming chaos.

Well this series is based on a long running manga which is also getting an official english translation. So at least the story can continue in that way.

finally completed. all-in-all a decent show

yeah this show is not for everybody. its better to stop when you start hating it.
