The cast was good, but for some reason i didn't really enjoy this that much.. It also felt draggy at some points.. struggled to finish it over a few weeks.. I usually finish good dramas with 2-3 day max.
I don't know why so many people found this boring and draggy.. I felt there was enough Romance.. Suspense/Thriller.. And a lot of comedy moments in this.. How can I describe this...? Perhaps written/directed in a weird/a bit unique way? Could this be why some people are not enjoying this that much?
Jin Goo rarely chooses bad scripts to be fair.. and seeing Moon Ga Young is always a joy.
What a wonderful drama.. The cast was enjoyable.. The development of relationships were fun to watch.. referring to not only the ones between leads, but leads and supporting cast, and supporting x supporting!
Started so brightly.. the writers completely screwed this up.. So much illogical things happening midway and a very stupid ending to be honest... It's like they didn't know how to make the story flow, and just kept throwing random things to drag the story line.. Unfortunately the main storyline itself wasn't promising except the good start.
Such a disappointment.. I usually like S.Korean Medical Drama's, but this is the first time I have gotten this disappointed with one. Giving it a 7.5, might be being generous..
The biggest highlight of this whole drama is actually the relation and development of both ML's.. The whole FL character is a massive disappointment.
where did she get the money from in the end?also I dont understand Jang sa pyeong character he is a follower of…
I don't think the case was about it, Injoo was accused of stealing 72bil which went missing.. hence why when the money was found later in the owners account again, and proved that she just unknowingly found it she was found not guilty.. The show didn't really go into government investigations about the illegal slush funds of the foundation..
Well, the rating is good.. I would give it a 9/10.. It was really fast paced, there was thrill to watch it because multiple things were happening, and a lot of characters were involved.. I thoroughly enjoy binging drama's which keeps us hanging at the end of the episode. I think the main reason some dropped the drama is because not everything is explained in detail, some things are left for viewers to make it up in their mind with their own perspectives.. I think a lot of things are explained by the massive plot twist towards the end. As for the ending, I think the people who did not like it maybe are the ones who didn't actually understand what happened at the end..
Unable to determine what motivates each character ie if In Joo plans to keep the $ why is she splurging and wearing…
I will tell you my POV on the points you made.. - Pretty sure no one normal will know what to do if they suddenly got 70 bil, they will be scared and will panic 24/7 about it, specially when you know it's illegal money, and you can either loose it at any time or you can be arrested at anytime for it. - Her spending looks dumb, but maybe in her mindset she was spending to cope with pressure because she always thought she would most likely loose it, and the shoes were literally a gift. - In Kyung's drinking is called addiction, but it was more towards her not being able to maintain her emotions on screen, we always know some people tend to drink only when they want to calm their nerves, it was a similar case with her. - In Kyung's stock market possibility, it was clear her memories with her aunt weren't that good, she was suffering during that period. Perhaps she didn't want to use that method because it was thought by her aunt and it brought back bad memories for her. - They never really lacked money, it was clear, Injoo was in a stable good job, and In Kyung was as well, their main issue was their parents were leeching their money either gambling or something else. So it didn't matter whether they worked more or earned more, it was all eventually just gonna be snatched by their parents. - In Hye literally was selling of her paintings to stop depending so heavily on her sisters, as emotionally it was too much of a burden on her. - BIG SPOILER!!!!! Choi Do Ill did it because the money was in Injoo's account, even if he snatched the ledgers, how will he get back the 70bil without the help of her?
I believe they will end up together afterwards, it was just not shown in the last episode. I wanted to see them…
Well we can assume they will be together at some point, he pretty much admitted he had feelings when that female body guard kept asking him.. Why he was doing so much for Injoo.. and also at the airport he said he will see her again.. so..
where did she get the money from in the end?also I dont understand Jang sa pyeong character he is a follower of…
I will explain it in a bit more detail..
- Initially as you know the 70bil was in Injoo's account. - Choi do ill had the power to transfer the money to any account he wants. - He knew when the court got involved they might loose the money completely. - He made a deal with Hyo Rin, who had an account in Panama. - As Hyo Rin was underage during the court case, the owner of the account was her mom. - Choi Do ill, transferred the 70 bil to Hyo Rin's Acc. - Used the transfer as proof to save Injoo from the sentence as the money went back to Hyo Rin's mom. - So at the end as Won Sang A (Hyo Rin's Mom) passed away the money was locked in Hyo Rin's account until she was old enough. - They collected the money and shared it amongst the girls.
