Well.. what did people leaving bad reviews expect when watching this.. ? Since the start it was a silly comedy only with a bit of romance.. In this case more of grandmother's than the leads..
There certainly could have a lot of improvements, I also felt weird that the main leads seem to connect so early on and I even felt like, what are they gonna do for the rest of the drama?
The mother-daughter relation felt more natural than the main leads, and the grandmom's love life had way too much screen time.
She was too over powered any how from the start that they could only nerf her for the final battle, but that was a huge disappointment.
In season 3 I hope we see actually the teenage life / school life of the ML, with struggles and more natural connections. 8/10
Had a lot of flaws.. but I would say the back story reveal till last episode is what made it interesting... I didn't watch the JP version, but I didn't know it had a S2, if so I wouldn't have watched the KR season 1.
The negative reviews are from the people who expect a lot more from Rom Coms.. It's a typical romcom.. There is a love triangle which is very common in rom com's... MVP is Gwang-nam.. 8.5/10

This is such a perfectly written story.. Why are people saying it's a sad ending.. ? It's very clear its a happy ending and they are still together.. The intros clearly show they are meeting in secret, and the ending scene as well..
It perfectly emphasizes a real idol's life, no matter how much they love someone, they end up having to keep their relationship a secret if they want to maintain their success. I guarantee this is true for many of the most popular idols right now as well.
The deleted ending clearly proves the ending is a happy ending, they are meeting in secret, they just removed the kissing scene to just not directly say it's a happy ending. Open endings leave a mark on peoples mind, hence the reason there is so much discussion.
Holy Shit.. What a masterpiece.. A thriller, action packed.. Gripping plot.. Mind blowing soundtracks! And a casting that couldn't have been done better! A justified ending, and BIBI absolutely nailed her character.

This was in the 90's.. The gang fights.. were probably mostly knife fights.. Guns were uncommon.. They have their own rules, they usually don't kill a person directly.. You can see by how they were crippling people but not killing them.
