Super draggy, too much flashback.. It has it's comedic moments.. FL is annoying at times.. Start was hard to watch, the middle was enjoyable, towards the end had to force myself to watch till the end.
She doesn't.. end up with anyone at the end. Actually it's quite tragic, If you want me to spoil, I would...
In season 1.. She dates a bad guy.. who ends up being obsessed about her leading to kidnapping her after their breakup, she was held captive at his house and it was violent.. She was one of the brightest characters in the show, really happy and really charming.. After the incident.. beginning on Season 2, she goes through severe PTSD, she is only bright inside the house with her roommates, whenever she goes out she wears black, and she cannot face any strangers, and had to always be accompanied by a friend whether it was day or night. The guy you are talking about is someone she meets in season 2, he was bullied as a kid, and is a big nerd, who is a genius programmer.. He ain't exactly normal, he is socially awkward. He sees her having difficulty while in a cafe because some of her ex classmates trigger her PTSD, he thinks they were bullying her (well they technically were), so he helps her out. And that starts their relationship and they eventually start dating, and they enjoy a healthy sweet relationship till the end.
I understand that they changed a new actress for Eun Jae since the original actress have schedule conflict while…
I swear the casting was a big failure.. Eun Jae in season 1 was so natural in her character, and she was one of my favorite characters, but the one in S2 was so cringy, maybe because she is new but her acting was bad, and the character itself was a lot worse.
What the heck did I just watch..? I don't look for logic in romantic dramas.. This direction, cinematography, and the background music.. Perfection.. I never thought I would watch a slow paced romantic drama and not get bored. This and Soundtrack #1 gave me the exact same feel.. and I rated it both 10/10.
Oh btw, is it just me or does the FL look and sound like Yuna from Itzy?
Why is this only rated 8.5? This deserves so much higher.. I thoroughly enjoyed this drama, and even binge the whole thing in just one day.
Everything about this was good, the cast was brilliant, the acting was good, the FL is as badass as you can get, I loved her character.. The chemistry gets build naturally and does not feel rushed like most romantic dramas..
I like it when rom-com's are easy going, light, no over complicated twists, no toxic relationships.. The reason I watch rom-coms is to refresh the mood because it's fun and enjoyable watch. If I want a heavily story line I would be watching thrillers.
Above all, some of the parts make you laugh your a** off..
Definitely a 9.5 I wouldn't even mind giving it a 10, a must watch!
Edit:
After finishing the drama, I usually check the cast's profile and the FL's profile surprised me! "She trained in martial arts as a child and has attained third dan in Hapkido and second dan in Taekwondo, all of which helped her land her role in the 2017 action film The Villainess. She also practices muay thai and boxing, enjoys cars and motorcycles, speed racing, building computers, sports such as soccer and baseball. Her childhood IQ was 141, and she is ambidextrous."
So there couldn't have been a better cast then her, as she does all of the things in real life.
I havent finished the drama but im still bothered about how they paced the story of him falling for NHS. It wouldve…
There is often logic missing in many Korean dramas.. For example every supernatural or time related drama, they actually don't bother explaining the cause or reason for the initial thing to happen, they just show it happened. Nonetheless the shows are enjoyable so can't complain.
At first I thought Hae-Yi was just playing so that her biological mother would freak out and leave immediately,…
This is the exact thing that didn't sit well with me.. There was no need to bring her mom back if they were not going to address the issue. And I felt that should have been a really important emotional scene between Hae Yi and her Aunt.. after her mom left again.
Did they cut off a scene between Hae Yi and Haeng Son after her mom left in the last episode? I mean I was expecting an emotional talk between them after Hae Yi was so rude and mean with her and wanted to leave with her mom so that she is no longer a burden on her aunt... I felt that was a really important scene in the series which would cement the bond between them for forever, but they ignored the whole thing that happened because of her mom like it didn't happen, so ultimately what was the point of even bringing back her mom?
Other than that.. The series was super predictable, but not boring.. and enjoyable. 8.5/10.

Is there any chance a Season 3 will come out?
Waiting to watch this after it's complete.
