Sam and Nueng are sisters and GAP focuses on Sam's story while Blank focuses on Nueng's story.
Oh how did I miss that. So the actors are different right ?

"Trainees in South Korea typically work 80 to 100 hours per week" WHAT?? Is that right??
Medical residents which is usually for four years have long shift hours in all countries. In India and Singapore they do 24 hour shifts. NUH Singapore I know have residents who are like up for 24 hours then a downtime of one day and again long hours. In India, you are sent to remote villages sometimes with no water and electricity. It’s hard everywhere. But once they graduate they make lots of money, but more importantly have a very long career tenure unti 70 / 75. Army doctors in India is AFMC and that’s even more scary since you are sent to borderline war areas too. I don’t know about USA but Thailand, Singapore, India, UK all have killing hours too.

How is this a shared universe with GAP?

I am a finance person. I hope they don’t botch it up with finance concepts. Also with global interest rates so high, deal activity is at an all time low. Lots of PE firms are holding on to their portfolio. I hope they cover some of these aspects including underwriting and don’t make into some weird fetishised wolf of Wall Street type of a world.

I am a true fan of this cast and crew's work. Just a general thought to ask why Korean actors and actresses are…
I have watched a lot of YouTube videos where English speaking people try to speak Hindi and make a total botch of it. Linguistically Hindi has 4 t and 4 d sounds (4 of which does not exist in English) and 5 “r” sounds (3 of which don’t exist in English) plus many more consonant conjugates and consonants which don’t exist in English. So the outcome absolute botch of Hindi and Sanskrit names, mispronouncing everything including the chakra word right and left. We understand This. Similarly Korean and English have very different verbal speaking palette. It’s only when you do this intentionally when it’s a problem. But these actors are not mocking. It’s genuinely hard to pronounce consonants and vowels which are not native to you. Trust me I know, when I ask a non Hindi speaking native (including my parents) they just cannot do it.
So if they speak English why should they be made fun of I don’t know.

Watch this drama then, for the sake of giving spoilers he does a volte face and is actually the strong one who calls the shot (watch until ep 24) and you will realise it.
Lomons dramas including revenge of others usually has him as the strong one

Review Doctor Slump
What concerns me is that with Netflix picking up such boring, lack lustre horrible dramas, we will get less of the good edgy dramas. All the ones that Netflix picks up are bad and full of cliches. And they like a corporate hungry machine are eating up the creativity in k dramaland.

Same I don’t like time slips. It’s slightly based off arrogance that this person will keep waiting for me.…
That’s exactly what I am talking about. You did bad things to someone and it’s understandable you need a break but you don’t take a break by disappearing totally. And since the male lead looks so happy and glowing in the end, it almost felt like he came back to her only because he promised he would do so.

I think the male lead is written as a red flag. Had vengeance for too long and he realised that he did all this based off his emotions without even verifying facts. So he realised he had too much anger and other issues. Then he disappears and reappears without even saying sorry. Through-tout the show he has abused the female lead so much 1) kiss her on false pretences 2) completely unaffected even though he knew her life was in danger 3) sneaking into her house again by pretending to be something else 4) actively sabotaging her 5) finally disappearing for a year contactless. Too much this dude was written as, by the author.
