And as far as we know he just doesn’t have sex right off the bat ,so with anyone you’re trying to “seriously “ date you would take a little time to suss each other out…If they’d been seeing each other for a while I’d say yes and Top (in real life) wouldn’t put up with it if all he truly wants is to have sex with him and move on…provided they’d been talking/ dating for a longer time.

It’s just messed up that Boston is Mew’s close friend….macking on Top who as they all know are supposedly bfs (talking)..so basically Boston is a piece of S:;&$,t. (Love u Neo lol) and I’m sorry but Top is not too far off from being a piece of S&*$# , though he seemed annoyed and unphased by Boston he didn’t shut him down immediately ( your “guy “ you asked to be your bf is just outside and you’re in the shower stall with his friend) Me personally I’d have to say next…1. First and foremost guys are guys regardless of their preference or position notwithstanding the fact many gays are versatile unlike in a straight coupling. Just because one is on “top” does not make him dominant nor the the. “Bottom “ submissive..After seeing so many BLs it’s repeated over and over this antiquated and stereotypical positioning and usually making the “bottom “ basically female coded (I.e a lot of female behavior onto that male character) maybe str8 females don’t have male friends…but if someone is your friend they are not trying to have sex with you. Like straight men don’t want to sleep with every woman, Gay men aren’t trying to sleep with all Gay men..and just fyi a top can still sexual interactions with another top and the same with guys that are bottoms. Even though there were many tropes in season 2, this cast, characters and storyline was more well rounded and evolved a little more than season 1. Also remember not everyone knows what you do with your sexual partner…so the labels aren’t a hard and fast solid. Many are versatile..though I know it’s a cultural thing the whole wifey thing is atrocious as it denigrates the fact the person is male regardless of his preference. Forth-Beam were a great neutral reference for 2 guy that were generally both Tops. Sad that there was drama with the cast and production so we don’t get a true 3rd season with this cast and story.

Yes he still got weak (literally) to the knees when ol’ boy showed up smilin as if he didn’t still his song…the arc is in a twist..idk if this is rewatchable…but I know others love it. I mean I’d pay a flight for Han tae to come live me instead😇…..but I digress!

I’m not sure if it’s a cultural thing or not but the whole passive response to his former teacher/first love crush is unbelievable..I know that some people are more passive than others but fainting or near fainting moment I was not buying…one of the biggest (stereotypical) tropes in BLs is making one of the guys so overly fragile or passive..it’s almost a disruption to the flow of the story, it usually makes that character annoying… we all have/had emotional breakdowns…but in this situation it can become jarring. That aside both actors are lovely…you’re right there is something missing… and the we are behaving like a romantic couple but oblivious at the same time….is exhausting at best..Han Tae has been more obvious…while a self battered BaRam needs a bit of a back bone! But hey I.ll watch to see if any of this is properly rectified

I definitely hope there is a season 2 otherwise this journey of watching has been in vain! As this would be the first or closest to a proper BL with high production value from China to date . From a story standpoint there’s a multitude of situations unresolved , which would make this a serious waste of time. Love both the lead actors in this Bro(mance)BL lol although Wu bi is more straight up (no pun) about his feelings than Su Yu. Other than the “open ending” as people keep saying…I love the well rounded story of the leads, the family, cute smart Duo Duo, and the school friends. A few stolen kisses ( classroom lights out moment was perfect)….. should there be a s2 I need that cousin to jump off a building, Wu bi to wake up , heal , properly address Su Yu or help Su Yu express what he feels, perhaps things are set right with wu bi’s father…and we see them off to their prospective universities!

You hit the nail on the head….that’s what I thought maybe “love” will change his behavior,though it works for his character right now he’ll def need a change up…and since Man playing Chalam, I wonder if Title will still be the love interest!.?

I think it feels like that cause Rak is dazed and clueless. Stronger acting choices from Kong would really help..it would give Pepper something work with…but I’ll keep watching and enjoy Chalam lol

Yup Pepper/Dino needed an actor somewhat on the same level! It was very uncomfortable watching the kissing.. idk if Kong has never kissed anyone in real life or not but even the sniff kisses are not solid. In moments he seems present but others he looks lost….unless that’s what he was directed to do! And I was also stunned by the flashback of Mek🤷🏽‍♂️

Can we just make it all about Chalam I’d be totally happy with that! Love Pepper great presence but needs a acting partner on his level…the pacing is not even…

I said the same about Sammy from another series…I know the focus on BLs are the boys but She is a wonderful organic adaptable actress if you look at all her work I know she would be AMAZING in a serious dramatic role🙏🏽

I think it’s great if it’s the same show/characters, but as actors when you get a new role it often times calls for a different dynamic which means it probably calls for a different actor to play opposite of to bring out the traits needed to serve the role and storyline. Otherwise we don’t buy it or we think the actors not doing a good job but casting is paramount. Love seeing the different actors switch up, which actually allows them to grow and show different sides of their capabilities. Fluke makes anyone look good haha…Ohm has such great chemistry with different actors..Joon I’d love to see with a different actor..the list goes on but I guess we are all here to “hopefully “ enjoy what comes next in the world of BL
