No, you're right, I agree. But it just in term of breaking the shipping culture as well and also to show the acting…
Yes I think the direction for character was off..and I love that people keep calling Jeng a daddy haha at 32! That cracks me up..but compared to his maturity and composure in juxtaposition of Pats immaturity and lack of emotional control I can understand why people might call him daddy… though he’s really a Zaddy lol but Man and Bens chemistry outside of the show is great!
Man did a great acting job on this project, but I agree it would be great to see him as a more carefree character,…
I just commented to someone else that watching interviews/clips of their interactions in real life was by far night and day..Ben seemed so comfortable and their chemistry was very apparent…too bad we didn’t get to see that transfer to the series

Oddly enough seeing interviews and clips of Man and Ben their real life demeanor and chemistry is soooooooo much better than what was played in the series… if that could have been captured, we would have fallen in love with them

It can stifle the actors creativity..being with a different costar brings out different emotions and reactions which can elevate the performance notwithstanding the fact new chemistry!
I loved it, except the ending. Let me explain.. things i liked : pat, ae and beams friendship, beams quiet adoration…
I like Ae-khanun..great couple energy..and yes jaab seemed he was stoned but he’s beautiful with amazing hair lol I really like Bruce as an actor he has great timing and range but I get the impression that perhaps the industry has stereotyped him…would love to see him in a non tropey affected character though he did a great job on this project.
Such a long and drawn-out final episode but at least it ended as it should, with Pat and Jeng back together as…
Yes like I clocked it nothing really pivotal happened until 46mins into the finally. Also loved the brothers supportive relationship, the only thing that bothered me about. Jaab was he always seemed sedated or stoned so I’m not sure is that was an acting choice or the energy/ lack of energy of the actor, who side bar is so handsome with I think the best hair on any BL character lol
I'm not going to lie, I think I would like to see Man play a less serious, more easygoing and fun character. He…
Man did a great acting job on this project, but I agree it would be great to see him as a more carefree character, he obviously has it in him…but opposite a different actor maybe haha
I agree! It didn't help that he didn't seem to have matured at all over those two years, but I think we were supposed…
Did anyone catch that he’s supposed to 26!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I assume it was the direction but he’s 26 giving the feeling of maybe college intern or even19 or younger… I burst into laughter when Pat met Jeng s mom and tells her he’s 26.. I was like no the hell you’re not lol…not the maturity of a 26yr old.
If you're comparing Thailand to Europe or North America, then I guess Thailand's pretty homophobic, but if you're…
Yes here in Hollywood I think a lot of actors who may be in the limelight might have secret social media accts for family and friends… because now agents/managers/casting directors/producers ask for your social media so they can monitor your activity and posts and also indirectly judge you on a video or pic you might post. So I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of the BL actors are under lock and key with what they can and cannot post..I’ve seen where both gay and str8 men have removed pics of their partners (male/female) so that they keep their followers and elude to the fact they are single lololol…. I’m like what we …children!🙈

Yup it’s crazy…unfortunately I think they’ll keep using the same tropes which means it will never become an elevated artistic performances or shows. Omg sometimes I feel like their agents/managers are handling their social media accts. Or telling them what they can post…and yes some seem very uncomfortable at the fan meetings..yes firstly love Long and I like watching him with different actors because it brings out different performances in him…tho I didn’t like Tin Tem Jai…I liked his character..and his love interest in the show..so switching partners I think is a good thing no pun😝 and yes at a whim you can be cancelled if certain people decide they don’t like you or what they “think” you might have done…which I don’t agree..what if everyone starting saying something and get you fired from your job your livelihood…if it’s something personal it should have no bearing on your work unless it’s a crime or something of that ilk ..unfortunately for entertainers you’re always exposed and accessible especially if you’re on social media.

Omg forgot about WBL:FM2…. Yes it was somewhat painful if you put yourself in that situation..but the chemistry of the characters were 🔥!! And I can see the lines getting blurred because when you’re working together you can get close and comfortable without it being “romantic” and all other genres don’t have this issue per se since you work with a different actor on each project as opposed to BLs where they are paired for several projects…which starts to be uninteresting sometimes. Yeah the whole Build debacle was really sad. There’s no doubt there are certain sacrifices and possible abuse / mistreatment..which the consequences can derail a person career.

Yes, yes and yes…I thought that about Step By Step and La Pluie….with the leaving and not saying anything, or the assumptions..those scenarios seem elementary.. and yes the fan service as a friend of mine would say is cray-cray! And it can stifle or distract the actors from being more well rounded and having different projects. I a firm believer that when you leave the set, you leave the character there! Otherwise it becomes selfish to make /want the actors to behave like their characters all the time that’s got to be exhausting… and trust I will admit I have def fanboyed over far too many of these actors and their characters … but knowing the industry, I know it can be mentally and physically detrimental to their health. Hopefully they all get to have breaks to keep themselves mentally ok.

💯 yes it’s very annoying when you see one of the characters (usually the softer/“bottom”) etc behave in such a way that is not realistic.. I think either there is not a true awareness that a guy is still a guy whether he’s top or bottom/masculine or fem..I find that a lot of the characters are written like a man and a woman but acted by 2 men🤪 thus the distorted idea. Let’s hope that people genuinely become accepting not only of same sex relationships but also remember the actors, they have a job to do ,it does bleed into their personal life especially in the BL genre but they are humans like the rest of us. And hopefully viewers and fans are mentally able to discern between the characters and the actors. Because it’s hard work, long hours, emotionally and physically draining to stay the course but they have lives so I pray people can be respectful as 98.9% of the time the actor has no say in the story/character but get judged harshly (only caveat to that is if they are in a role and are holding back because they are str8 and uncomfortable doing a kissing or love scene…things like that and chemistry is in their control) the rest is out of their hands an lies with the writers/directors. Sorry I ramble!🤦🏽♂️

Yes! You’re so right! I love the idea of BLs minus all of the horrendous antiquated tropes they use but as @TianQi said they weren’t necessarily written to be “gay” relationships which oddly enough is problematic if not a bit hypocritical of the writers cause …if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck…. It’s a duck… I.e 2 men together in a relationship = gay relationship! I laude Taiwan and Korea for some really great stories that I’ve seen..and don’t get me wrong I LOVE Thai BLs (so much that I started learning the language) but the tropes at this point really remedial. And sometimes it does a disservice to the actors as we’ve seen either bad chemistry or no chemistry at all especially like you said BL= str8 man falling for a Str8 man haha it’s so apparent in several shows. But I’ll continue to support BLs because in mainstream tv there really isn’t a healthy narrative regularly, especially here in Hollywood. The Gay/Bi character is always tropey.. like a pet or gay bestie to their str8 female friend or completely over the top character..
Gun and Pitch cringe me out so much. There's a huge mess going on in the series and yet it seems their relationship…
Yup GunPitch makes 0 sense! They aren’t even on the same wavelength…oddly enough at the hospital when Gun confessed/apologized/fell to his knees….to Zo…their chemistry though not romantic was very strong..they were on the same level if you know what I mean!
