Got to agree with you, Dear Missy was so so much more enjoyable. f/s was more heartwarming, I think the love interests & r/s development was more logical and life situations were more realistic.

HAHA I got to agree with DramaAjumma, while I didn't find the first 5 episodes bad, they really lacked the wow factor. Ep7 was when I felt the most excitement and think things are finally going to take off

He did mention that he's angry with her for leaving, which in my opinion, is rightly so. I think he's just mature enough not to act out because of his anger, plus the fact that his love for her is greater than his anger.

They started off insulting each other's gender and then using Fang Ning and Ling Rui's situation as example in their arguments, spilling everything those two told them over drinks LOL

I kinda agree with both of you, I do think that she's to blame because she really made a lot of stupid decisions, like leaving one-sidedly, and it was her choice to hide the kid. But blame aside, I think others should have also acknowledge the fact that she raised a kid all alone and did it so well.

Also, I really hated how Ling Rui's mom approached her about Germany when she should have just approached her own son, but she explicitly said that her intention was just for Fang Ning to discuss it with Ling Rui, not for her to leave him.

They were just a rumoured couple during their university days, but didn't actually date. Quite cute I'd say, they're like a pair of besties

I'm not sure how the divorce procedures work in China, but don't you need two parties to be present to submit the documents? Kinda hoping that there's that little twist that he hadn't submitted the docs either, but it'd be funny Fang Ning not knowing she's still legally married all these years.

Don't think Ling Rui's mom pressured her into leaving him, she just wanted Fang Ning to have a discussion with Ling Rui, rather than him forgoing the opportunity without even speaking about it with her. Did annoy me tho, why did she have to ask Fang Ning when she could have asked her own son.

HAHA agree the scenes were marketed to be much more steamy - but the cast themselves did say alot of scenes didn't make the final cut due to censoring, and some lines had to be changed durin dubbing. I still think this is a great show tho!

24 episodes in and I must say it's still looking really good, I just love Fang Ning more and more. Seems like the story is going to take a turn on ep25 onwards, really hope they pull this off well till the end
