do you know why he waited 30 years to reunite with her? i mean then what is the purpose of avoiding the two of them for 30 years if he's going to get back with her eventually?

i don't think it was an extension tho, it was originally announced to be AT LEAST 40 episodes. Taiwan dramas are usually either around 16 episodes or 70+ that's why I found it weird this was 40 at first

the kisses in this series were great I'm glad there's so many too HAHA

Heard that this was getting a possible extension (but still isn't announced when we are supposedly 2 episodes away from the finale), especially since sanlih hasn't announced a follow up drama. Would love to have more xinyi and guo long!

I think its because it was filmed and arranged as one story, they only spilt up the release dates. The last episode of each 'season' doesn't wrap up anything haha. Iqiyi originally releases 2 episodes per week but exclusively for their VIPs who get to watch 12 episodes at once.
