Love is in the air. Lin smiles to himself when he looks at her. His assistant also likes Yuchan.

I don't understand why Lin did not confiscate Lu Dalang's sword. It was obvious Du would grab it, and kill himself. It appears that Lan Xiang is smarter than Lin Jin Qi.

I agree. When I watched the episodes, they seemed short. I had to check the run times.

I saw that look in his eyes before he offered the dried fruit to her. They would make a beautiful couple.

Yes! I wondered why she was in the Guest List, when she was a primary supporting character. Glad, MDL made the change. She is annoying to watch, but the actress deserves the recognition.

I guess it was the only way for Zhao meet her lover every month, but the guard also cross dressing is a stretch.

And they don't act the same. The one in the library was desperate.

This cousin wasn't acting frantic in the earlier episode.

Very clever, but only FL and Zhao's maids know there is a man dressing up as a female to visit Zhao. He has big feet, 🤣🤣🤣

LOL I haven't seen a male "cross dresser" since Cheng Yi in Mysterious Lotus Casebook.

Was she planning to meet the cousin? She looked surprised to see him.

Why was he dressed as a woman?

The writing is sketchy at times. I thought she was meeting the cross dresser in the library, but this old lover showed up instead.

So, Zhao had two lovers? One from seven years, who impregnated her, and the cross dresser in Jinrui House?

Was that guy in the library, an ex-lover from seven years ago, before Lin and Zhao's marriage? He said that she give birth to their child, who died. The writer is really pushing the envelope. How old was Zhao at the time?

Looking forward to Deng Kai in this drama. He was a memorable psycho in Pursuit of Jade.🤣🤣🤣

I finished the drama. Final rating 6.5! This drama had poor execution in scriptwriting, acting and directing. Granny Huo's Beijing Auction Palace was a joke. Her bodyquards have bad fighting and martial arts skills. How did she maintain her enigmatic reputation for decades? That Huo-Wu arc was a waste of time. Third Uncle and Wu Xie were gullible. Fatty Wong and High Jr were loud and crass. I suspected Chastity Chen was a spy. She was acting too bubbly and coy. Director directed Lost Tomb 2 and Lost Tomb 2 Note, so I am hesitant to watch them.

Some of the dialog is so out of left field. I don't think it is even a bad translation of the Chinese script. Even Uncle Three seems callous and arrogant, and he is the group leader. It doesn't feel like the Director was working hard at his supervisory job.

I can't pinpoint it since I skipped about five episodes in the middle of the drama.

I have seen many actors play Wu Xie, that I don't really feel the evolution of the character. Every drama or movie feels like an independent production project.
