You've echoed my thoughts. I have one sentence for them: I did not like the ending one bit.
I understood that Wenlang is totally surrendered to his love and desperately hoping and waiting for Gao Tu's forgiveness and mercy like he is in the uncertain and protracted death condition worse than a definite death row. After he finally found the love of his life, the uncertainity whether Gao Tu is forgiving him or not and is worse than a death. Like redmonkeyqueen stated below Wenlang is walking on thin ice with Gao Tu.
Of course it could have been longer but we know that, watching a Chinese BL, it's gonna be edited when the couple…
So I'm so glad that we hadn't met back then because I was totally in greed while the show was airing. After each one I was comparing the episode to related chapter in the book by myself and complaining about why they (screen writers) don't write longer emotional scenes and reactions to show actors' potentials or why they don't give more episodes to give us a chance to enjoy their love and support for one another etc. Now I've made peace with that except the finale, sorry. :) It was sweet, felt like a home to the characters but in my opinion it was too short and rushed up as if it was post edited . Btw I'm not talking about mature scenes I wanted to see their emotional affections and then watching bunch of Squirtles and one Blastoise :) If they'd done this due to the restrictions of their regulations then I am totally grateful and thankful for protecting their actors and the story.
I'm revisiting this page to take my complaint about how short the show is back after seeing the total number of Desire's episodes. Now I have to go there and whining about their rushed up script lol. Btw I still think that the final episode of Revenged Love could have been better and longer :)
Does anyone know that what is the truth behind Porsche's mom which Mr. Gun was telling just before he was shot? It is very vague to me and it feels suspicious how Papa was rushed into killing him before he finished his sentence.
The same here. I've really liked the series and already rewatched again. But I can give only 8 too, according to my drama evaluation point chart which is: Chemistry 1.5 out of 2 (Tian Xu Ning can match anybody and make it perfect as CC but I have a little doubt for Zi Yu I think he is replaceable as WSW.) Story and Acting 2 out of 3 (Acting was so deep and intense but story has some flaws because screen writers rushed some details and emotions unlike the book.) Side kicks 1 out of 2 (They are so so) Ending 1 out of 2 (It was so rushed and superficial and can you tell me what is that 30 sth minutes for the anticipated final. They at least should have add those deleted scenes.) Shooting 1 out of 1 (I have no complaint.) So according to this it is ended up with 6.5. I added last 1.5 because I really liked CC's aura as well charisma and the series took a load off my mind :)
So do I!!! And now if you are wondering how any other bl series can top this in terms of sincerity of emotions, alluring darkness, feeling all forms all phases of love and intense acting especially Tian Xu Ning (he acts with his eyes, voice, attitude, body language,.. such natural talent and such a good casting)... I'm sorry but I think we've reached The Mount Everest =)

What are you waiting for? The censorship caused many scenes to be cut and others have been changed. I immediately…
I meant about their emotional connection and sensual agony against their secrets kept in the dark not about the things needed to be censored. They could have given us more time to show their deep emotional reactions towards each other and evaluate the situations. I actually think sometimes they were trying too hard to add a little bit this and that so I mean the show needs to be 30 episodes; same plot ,okay, but more time to sink their emotions in the audience. IMO, if the actors didn't put great effort, this story feels like so rushed up like a roller coaster.
I always wonder if this drama is made by two teams there is big contrast in quality between eps Ep20 was.... To…
That's what I'm talking about ! The screen writers are handling the story so superficially that ended up with wasting the actors' potential and sincerity of the story.
guys which ep are things gonna be good again?? 😭😭 (didnt watch the new ep CANT HANDLE IT)
Probably ep 20 because they rushed into the story on the contrary of the book. They try to squeeze these two couple's relationships into approximately 40 minute episode without giving us 30 episode to be sinked in.
I know right…the big break-up will be coming in ep 18. Given its current pace, his mom will probably pass away…
I think the same thing if their pace is getting this fast they will end it up subtle and unfinished story. The screen writers got rushed into all of the things and a little bit messed up. I think it would have been 30 episodes to be enjoyed the true feelings of their relationship.
also ive seen people say that chengyu is a green flag.. he isnt. guo chengyu, chi cheng and yes, wu suo wei, they…
I see that you'd already read the novel. Can you spoil me pls will Wu Suo Wei cheat on Chi Cheng with Wang Shuo's brother out of jealousy to seek CC's attention? I mean it feels like their story is going straight to this toxic end because he is so prone to make an unforgivable mistake right now and I want to know, if you don't mind to share.
I'm on ep 21 and I wanna ask that are there any past related correlation between MC? I kinda sense he is the savior that she was talking bout but has he been loving, watching out her since then or sth? Because I think the start of their feelings is so superficial I mean their chemistry is great but I didn't feel the foundation of their love, it was so rushed up. One episode they were indifferent and next one they are head over heels for each other, just like that. It was not love at first sight so far I'd watched. Is there anyone feeling the same or will there be some flashbacks about their relationship?
Okay so for starters this drama was really well done apart from everyone else being killed off for the reason…
If you weren't asking for actor-specific you can give a chance to The Prisoner of Beauty which was a really gem of '25 IMO, also with more fantasy elements you can watch Feud also released in '25.
