Can you please spoil me for this: why on earth does Hua Ru Yue hate Bai Jiu Si so much in the first place? I'm on ep 12 and I know he sent her to mortal realm causing her resentment but I am asking about her first attack on him resulted in stabbing. She said 'Because you deserve to die.' 300 years ago and says now. What did he do to her in the first place to make her take a revenge on Bai Jiu Si?

I wish we could have little more adult version of Im Sol&Seon Jae so we could enjoy their adult life. I wouldn't complain about watching 20 episodes, on the contrary I'd really enjoy that. The plot of the last three episodes can be enriched and extended within 6 episodes, in my opinion of course.

I feel the same thing. As you said some critics are just so superficial and judging the book based on the cover type. I love their acting I think both really improve their impressions of true feelings. They live in the character most of the time and towards the end convey some extravaganza to lift the show's mood. Although I never thought for any main leads that they are not the perfect match or suitable based on their appearances if the feeling and acting that they make me touched is right but if for some people the looks transcendences the acting, fashion magazines are better option for their expectations.

Is it just me or is there anyone who thinks that Cui Yu Xin looks like a bit Lee Jun Young? I hope both will be getting better roles that shine their potentials in the future.

That's right, idk neither. Personally, while evaluating I reserve 2 points for the ending of a drama.

So true, some ratings are really based on looks, bias, cliches regardless of story and acting. As you said the cast is actually really good and they act like living in the story in each drama they've participated in, always giving their all.

Maybe that's one the reasons because of having different tastes among people, but it hasn't promise colorful and joyful story in the beginning. If you give 5 to 7 points because of that toxicity in relationships and your point of view, I totally respect and agreed with that. However, some people give low ratings because of that the shows are gloomy or about people with boring problems. If that's the reason why then I find it unfair to this drama to be rated comparatively low to those high rated ones with empty promises and emotions As you know life can not be considered as one joyful, enjoyable layer. It has many stories within. This story is revolving the characterizations of people and relationships having toxicity, subjective realness, regrets, pursuit of happiness and freedom with a heart quick to fall in love, mistakes, wrong time and paths, important decisions, obligations, responsibilities, heavy hearted emotions. So, I think it should be categorized and rated this heaviness in mind, not because of it heavy matters.

Agreed, also I usually try to find some meaningful essence or some depth in series that may or may not be a romcom. I want its romance part to be meaningful while enjoying the comedy part. Like you said, they are rare to be found.

I thought the exact same thing when I see this relatively low rating. I haven't finished watching the series but apart from the characterizations of love, (because it's a very subjective behavior, I think) each trailer or clips tell another serious and heavy hearted happening. Maybe we carry some kind of melancholia baggage or maybe we separate the times when to enjoy watching romcoms and when to watch slow-going genres, either way I think this kind of series can be rated accordingly. Also, you're so right on comments about telling the difference between romcoms and those telling intense stories. I love watching series that leave a valuable and meaningful impression on me, like you, I guess. :)
