this is way overrated
So, i came to watch this with high expectations given the rating... But it's really not much to see, unless you have a lot of free time on your hands. First of all, i'd say they miscast the main leads, i totally cannot relate to their characters and i cannot see any chemistry, though obviously they are both very good in their own parts. Still something is really off... The illusion of life is hardly there, despite the realistic details and the slow pace of the drama.Second, the drama is packed with tropes and nonsensical things, typically k-drama - like. The revenge story turns into love, everybody is good-looking and single, a generous well-off friend is always there to help, the leads by coincidence keep bumping into each other etc.
Seriously, for the first few episodes the FL just walks around with a gloomy look while wearing sneakers and a dark hoodie... The ML does the same, just wearing a suit and staring blankly. We got it, can we please move on? No sense of humour, just toxicity to a new level - toxic ex, toxic love, toxic families, toxic working environment, gloomy faces, depressing clothing, harming yourself, harming the others...
Putting it on hold indefinitely.

everything girls need is a stalker
I can totally see the potential of this story abt bullying and love that saves lives, but i couldnt drag myself to watch past the 1st episode for now... I consider watching it at some other time. As much as i believe that every love is unique, im not in mood for something that crazy atm. Also, it's not just the controversial topic, the approach is weird to begin with, with the medical mask worn inside the house and all. packed with tropes
I've just started to watch this despite the series being kinda old... And i gotta say it's more like a teens' thing.Totally - and i mean TOTALLY - unrealistic and packed with tropes! Just saying, we have Cinderella, then her secret adorer - played by the ever so excellent Chris Wu, then here comes the troubled, traumatic Prince Charming, acting like the bad boy who just awaits a gentle loving soul to tame him... And of course he is not just misunderstood, but also rich, showing up in a Porsche! No doubt, the poor orphan piano-lover Cinderella will be the object of dispute for the two handsome male leads, for being so irresistibly pretty and innocent and kind-hearted - right??
Watching this as a filler, feel free to recommend me anything.

Not for me
I came to watch this expecting something mind-blowing based on the excellent reviews, but i was put off from the very beginning... Something about cinematography is weird, cheap-looking, maybe the filming technique or video quality or the fashion style - better say, lack of it. The actors didnt look appealing to me, very plain faces and even plainer skills. Even the plot didnt seem to add up.Dropped at episode 2, after skipping to get there, and dont intend to pick it up any time soon.

is only the first episode so cheap??
I remember i started watching this lakorn a few times and couldnt get past the 1st episode, so im writing this review now just in case i drop it again...The FL is totally annoying, the type who is all over men while pretending to be innocent and drunk or whatever - of course, she only gets drunk with young men around, not on a regular basis. Her acting is also totally fake!
The ML is no less... Being a character in his/her own name, like you're all that? Should we all bow down to Mike Angelo or whatever? If you are such a sucker for praises that you cannot impersonate a character, make a documentary!
I'm a regular watcher of lakorns, but some are just trashy.

totally in shock at the high ratings
Trust me, i havent seen a slower and cheesier 1st episode in years... And packed with clichés to the point it bursts. We get the diva, the public manipulation, the fashion industry setting, the handsome businessman, some catfight too... I got the impression of watching a low-quality lakorn, where everything pretends to be glamourous, but it's just fake. (Sorry to the lakorn producers, at least they own the brand of glossy and glitzy!)About to drop it.

too weird for my taste
I totally understand the ambition of the director, who tried hard to combine a soap opera with a psychological drama... But one has got to know their limits.So, we have this good-looking FL in stilettos and a miniskirt, who is also a famous childrens' story writer - because average ppl dont make an impact, right? - but she is also a monster for loving blood and suffering. Of course, she is just a traumatic soul, after being hurt by her own family as a child. And here comes the ML in shining armour, who always believes in good and does good, while looking after a retarded brother.
I could put up with the story till now, but the director tried hard to feed us another as glorious as idiotic trope - the "i-met-the-fated-one-in-kindergarten/ primary school-and- we-will-be-together-forever" one. Like, how many of us REALLY married someone they "dated" in kindergarten? Did our life stop there and we were unable to meet someone as adults?? I totally DONT UNDERSTAND why scriptwriters favour this kind of stories... Seriously, you cant move on from age 5 or 6?
