way too cheesy
Sadly, im dropping this at ep. 5, i cannot take it anymore, there is really no plot and no action, just two guys probing each other in the cheesiest way possible! A lot of unnecessary staring, music-fillers or whatever, BUT action! It's like 5-yrs boys star in this.Though the ML is gorgeous, i cannot take it anymore.

cheesy but nice cast
Just one more time Cinderella story... A poor but pretty college student - our FL - meets a rich handsome strong Prince Charming and they keep clearing misunderstandings and fall in love more and more. The FL is always in distress and needs to be saved, but the ML or his childhood friend - who accidentally bumped into the FL out of all - are always there ready to oblige. The ML gave a bad boy vibe at first, but sadly the idea got dropped later.The movie is full of tropes, but well executed, to the point you end up not noticing them. You can tell where the drama is headed from the start, so it gets kinda boring, though the slow flow is quite nice and realistic.
I reached half of the drama and nothing really happens, except for college life scenes.
I dont know why im watching this, i really miss a good lakorn full of drama in every episode.

cringey & fake
the english title is retarded - but very suited.a fast- paced drama - way too fast to be considered serious, very Kristino Olsen style lol. everything abt the plot is wrong and cringey: a man in his 40s hitting on a girl 20 yrs younger, mother and daughter loving the same guy, the daughter kinda stealing him from mom - who loved the ML for half of her life, then the drunk sex that leads to pregnancy?
no conflict whatsoever - just two ppl trying to come to an agreement after a drunken night together.
no chemistry - the FL herself is calling the ML "old man", and it says it all!
i have nothing against age gap movies, but they could've adjusted the context to make it happen gradually or something. though Pong is a fine actor, he totally shows his age in this drama. he looks bored!! the FL is pretty, but her acting skills need improvement. also, smelling the vanilla pod and talking vanilla and drinking vanilla - flavoured alcohol is not cute at all, is just abusing an old trope. who wrote this, a girl going through puberty?

nice trip in the countryside
Despite those unavoidable lakorn tropes, i enjoyed this trip to an idyllic farm where love can flourish in the most sincere way.This lakorn is nothing new, but instead its quite comforting, the good and the bad are totally clear, the good always wins without much hassle, also not much angst that might make you lose sleep. I'd say, this is a comfort drama all in all. The FL is always a winner, the ML doesnt act dumb, the SML and SFL are going smooth, whats there to complain about? We also get some sugary moments of the ML & FL. Typically for a lakorn, you can expect catfights, hidden identity, fake marriage one, fake marriage two, unexpected pregnancy - put your mind at rest here, it comes as a shock that pregnancy occurs after two healthy adults repeatedly have unprotected sex...
The police is there just for decorum. Everybody shoots a gun, but no one is ever really hurt. Not to mention that fist fights are a must for every episode (the good guys always prove themselves).
Nice watch if you look for something uncomplicated.

k-drama constantly delivers epical stories
Everything abt this masterpiece is intended to become epic, with legendary characters & friendship too. Every one of the five doctors - the bunch of friends - is ideally handsome, smart, funny, genius, musician, kind-hearted, loyal etc etc.Their relationship with food is also idealistic! We get these skinny men and women in their 30's or 40's who keep devouring large meals while staying skinny and not even exercising much!? Girls, this is all a lie, thats why they call it a movie... I can tell that it's appealing to see ppl with a healthy appetite who manage to look fit, but no actors nor doctors nor "common people" would stuff themselves like this. (I guess it'd be no fun if they showed us obese ppl being unable to refrain from food...)
We still get one idea right: doctors marry doctors, thats it.
The rest? As said, it's all legendary... Most difficult cases are solved, the smallest humane details are considered, everything falls into its right place, to the extent that "perfect" is too weak a word to describe this utopian hospital.
Still Hospital 1 & 2 are epic, acting is excellent, you get humour & action & staff, mandatory watch for medical dramas.

intense watch now and then
It's definitely a well-rounded drama that takes itself seriously... We get a lot of twists and action during the first half, then some moral and legal debates during the second, also some discreet romance to compliment everything. The filler scenes are still detailed and watchable, if you like slow-paced stories. Add to this the bunch of excellent actors, and you have a full package!Of course, all gotta be taken with a grain of salt... It's so frustrating to see all the genius cops and prosecutors with the most high-tech intelligence network being fooled over and over again by some average civilians!? Also, the prosecutor women seem to be the weak link, being kidnapped once, then again, and again...
Still not bad to watch once.

not a traffic stopper but still enjoyable
I'm giving this a 10 despite its obvious clichés and HUGE product placement because it's entertaining and fluffy...Of course, it's nothing tremendously new, in fact it glorifies c-dramas tropes, still the ML and his fellas are so handsome and the action is so lighthearted that i truly recommend it for a rainy weekend. I couldnt help but think of another c-drama - very similar in vibe and cast choice - "My Unicorn Girl" (more points to this!), and realized once again that the producers push the same buttons of their audience. Also, they make it quite obvious that they address mainly teen girls by portraying a perfect romantic rich handsome young playful etcetc ML and a petite pouty FL (not the best cast choice here - her nick is Smiling, but she never smiles and totally lacks a sense of humour!).
The romance is way too predictable and cartoonish - read fake. Dialogues are cheap. The media is demonized. All the parents are some country bumpkins that need a slap in the face to see their children's value. The obsession of marrying off the daughter of the family is cringy af! The FL is half-naked most of the time, wearing just an oversize t-shirt in a house full of guys.
Major criticism: Some tropes would be nice IF NOT ABUSED... So, we get the idea that the FL is short and adorable for that, BUT they keep drilling in our minds that she is so short that she would produce short laughable sons; then we have a FATTY that is only concerned with stuffing his mouth, and totally laughable for doing this... We get the HUNK guy who's only into building muscles over finding love or appreciation or something similar, like being BIG means retarded? HOW IS THIS EVEN FUNNY???
What else to say... As a teen c-drama with some parody features, it ticks the right boxes.

easy watch, why find flaws in it?
I'm not much into historical fiction, but this drama is more or less just a romcom with a middle-age background. The director/scriptwriter made the mistake of trying to integrate some supernatural element, but didnt know how, so the plot gets messy from time to time.Other than that, the actors are lovely, the costumes are luxurious, the cooking theme is nice, the action progresses at a steady pace. It's obviously not the series of your life, but it's totally watchable, especially in-between other productions.
Suitable for holidays.

Two school bullies fall for their victims in Art School - well, it seems it happens there too. All males, since it's a BL. Of course, they have a hurtful story behind, that we get to know more or less. The four of them finally become friends and form a band. End of.The young actors are good, their acting is nuanced and they are certainly nice to look at. The conflicts are not overdramatic and the pace is as good as needed for a short drama series. A realistic touch is brought by the struggle of accepting their sexual orientation (at least 3 gay couples in this drama).
One watch is recommended, not sure abt the rest.

This drama is so sweet and fluffy, refreshing and light-hearted, that i just cannot stop revisiting it! It's not realistic in the traditional sense - but who in his/her right mind expects realism in the world of drama?I mean, how can it possibly happen for a petite girl to become the captain of an all-male ice hockey team? Really! Still the actors are so handsome and funny, the story so engaging, that it doesnt matter if its crazy or not. Even the side stories are nice - if you can spare time for them, because we have, beside the 1st couple, the 2nd couple, the 3rd couple, even the 4th couple (that is, the FL's brother, the FL's friend, the ML's cousin etc). I admit i skipped a lot through these.
The ML and FL are both very good-looking and their story is sweet (did i repeat the word sweet?) with a lot of love games. So much fun to watch!

I knew this is not for me the moment i saw men flying on their swords, or spewing fire through the fingertips, and stone statues angrily walking around... I think you gotta be a certain age to fully enjoy this fantasy world - wuxia i think they call it.These being said, i totally understand the hype around this drama: its strongest point is undoubtedly the acting. All actors/ actresses are young and handsome, the plot is there, some inspirational moments happen too...
The special effects are top notch! In fact, the entire production is fantabulous!
Still, my fav dramas have to lie to me more convincingly.

not a bit boring
Despite the slow pace and plain action, this drama is not boring at all, being so beautifully filmed. The actors are handsome and the acting is flawless, no more no less than it should be. Though nothing spectacular happens here, its quite pleasant to watch. This drama falls under a tag that must be created asap, that is "falling in love after approaching someone with ulterior motive and repenting".My only objection is that the last episodes took the quarrel too far... Why take it to a point of no return?
I might rewatch this sunny story one day.

One excellent short drama that keeps most of the japanese trademarks! You know it's something different, quite fresh and entertaining, though you recognize some old tropes there - but they totally melt into the original approach.The actors are brilliant, the plot is good. We get a charming endearing mature woman falling for a determined and charismatic teen ML, though she is presented with a love offer from her first love, now a mature businessman... Everything is so nuanced - in a tender manner - that you cant but sympathize with ALL the characters. The past and the present blend in a healing story.

uplifting love-story
This BL short series is totally carried by the farmer ML, who is unbeatable at acting like a big - really big - teddy bear. He looks so childish, innocent and silly that you cannot help falling for him when he pouts and makes those puppy eyes!The landscape is totally idyllic too, very refreshing.
The plot is there, though quite thin.
Watch it and enjoy!

I'm always shocked to discover such young talents as our two ML's... And also in wonder at Taiwanese BL dramas, which are definitely a must watch! I enjoyed this a lot, it's a short series that keeps you entertained, though the second part is a bit draggy. The young actors - even the secondary cast, the funny ladies in office+ the vice president - are SOOOO ADDICTIVE & ENJOYABLE!I can hardly find any flaw in this... maybe the sad part before the final is not justified - and i can gladly rewatch such a pleasant light-hearted romcom.
